Glass Hares are a hares with skin made out of glass, making them see through, however their organs are perfectly visible.

Their skin is made out of glass making them difficult to eat, but easy to kill.

Their powers are unknown but they presumably have some as they live with glass skin. Could be the ability to consume glass.

==Synopsis==
Nine days after the battle of the Great Plains, [[Khelt]] and other Chandrarian forces have left and the [[Gnolls]] clear up the battlefield of undead. The injured [[Antherr Twotwentyonethree Herodotus|Crusader 221-3]] of the Beriad Antinium is rescued from a pile of corpses they were buried under. [[Feshi Weatherfur|Feshi]], now referred to as Chieftain, sends a message to the Wandering inn telling them about the Antinium they've rescued.

[[Mrsha]] relaxes outside the inn, smelling Imani's baking bread, and is looking towards the Innkeeper's window when she gets a [[Quests|quest]] from Erin to gather water. Mrsha fills a bucket from the well and is welcomed into the inn by Sir [[Sest]] and deposits the water in the kitchen. Completing the quest, Mrsha gains her quest reward of two copper and a bonus feather.

[[Erin Solstice|Erin]] arrives for breakfast via the Garden of Sanctuary on her new wheeled chair. The rest of the inn's residents also descend for breakfast, the Horns first. [[Ksmvr]] has four hands. Erin invites the invisible [[Tessa|Shriekblade]] to join them for breakfast but she disappears after taking some food. [[Gireulashia Ekhtouch|Gire]] and [[Selys Shivertail|Selys]] arrive from [[Liscor]] and join them. [[Imani]] leaves for the Drunken Gnoll after she finishes the food. During breakfast, [[Bird]] tries to take the reward feather from Mrsha, but it quickly escalates into a play fight between [[Numbtongue]], Gire, Bird and Mrsha. It's quickly stopped when Erin falls from her wheeled chair in the scuffle. As Erin tries to reassure everyone that she's fine, [[Garia Strongheart|Garia]] arrives with the message about Crusader 221-3.

Crusader 221-3 has been imprisoned in one of the cages that the Drake prisoners were kept in, but is freed after three hours under Shaman [[Theikha|Thiekha]]'s orders. Thiekha brings him to a tent to appraise his level and skills but isn't able to see his [Crusader] class or related skills. Thiekha then shows Crusader 221-3 how his [Honor's Shield] skill works by hitting him. [[Rose]] and [[Adetr Steelfur|Adetr]] arrive and Thiekha brings all of them to the tent with the Earth simulation made by [The World of You and Me].

The inn residents prepare Erin to go into Liscor as the door hasn't been returned to the inn yet. [[Lyonette du Marquin|Lyonette]] ensures that Erin has her enchanted rings and is accompanied by the [[Thronebearers of Calanfer|Thronebearers]]. The group arrives in Liscor and meet with the council to find that the issue of the stranded Antinium has already been sorted out. Numbtongue and Bird reassure Erin that even if something were to happen, [[Perorn Sadiluc|Perorn]], Niers' students or [[Fellowship of the Inn|the Fellowship]] would make arrangements to ensure that Crusader 221-3 gets back safely. Erin does her physical therapy at the [Healer]'s for an hour. They meet [[Relc Grasstongue|Relc]] and [[Klbkch]] outside and everyone is worried when Erin forgets about Relc using a spear.

Within the Earth simulation, Crusader 221-3 gains the role of an office worker and explores Earth. Thiekha, Rose and Adetr find him and he speaks, choosing a new name for himself: Antherr Twotwentyonethree Herodotus.

In the evening, Erin wakes up from her memory dream and tries to reconcile her stray knowledge with names that she remembers. She plays Go against Niers for two hours on the enchanted board and after reassuring herself she isn't trapped she tries to stand up. Lyonette finds her and has Dame Ushar help her get back to bed as Erin remembers her promising something.

[[Silveran]] has set up a new business, Silveran's Cleaners, and is unlikely to return to the inn. At breakfast, Erin talks to [[Ceria Springwalker|Ceria]] about [[Gerial Doerisel|Gerial]] but Ceria doesn't want to talk about it and runs away. Erin then talks with Ser [[Dalimont]] and he asks if she can prove that she spoke to the ghosts in the land of the dead. Erin decides to go outside, but not before [[Ishkr]] tells that that the past four months have been exceedingly boring. Erin rolls out of the inn, leaving Dalimont locked inside as she speeds down into Liscor.

One of the veteran Guardsmen, Vamolt, helps Erin up as she enters the city on her way to the Adventurer's Guild. Senior Guardsman Derra and he confer that the betting pool winners of ten days won. [[Zevara Sunderscale|Zevara]] coordinates the Solstice Contingency the Watch had in place and intercepts the innkeeper on the way to the guild to confirm her suspicions herself.

[[Timbor Parithad|Timbor]] overhears [[Kevin Hall|Kevin]], [[Joseph Ortega|Joseph]] and [[Inkar]] worrying about Erin and discussing their responsibilites as well as the Horns talking about the new land on Izril.

In the adventurer's guild, Erin meets [[Jewel]] of [[Glitterblade]], who points out the job board to her. Jewel stops Erin from pinning up her requests and wheels her over to a receptionist. Todi wins the parchment, but then noticed the background audience, and hands it back to Erin.

[[Chaldion Oliwing|Chaldion]] and [[Rufelt Owelt|Rufelt]] are in The Noble’s Fancy in [[Pallass]] talking to Innkeeper Adalton about his new ability to issue quests. Adalton hears the sound of Erin nailing in the Quest and Chaldion orders [[Grimalkin Duveig|Grimalkin]] to head to Liscor and get [[Manus]] to find an [Innkeeper]. Back in Liscor, [[Tekshia Shivertail|Tekshia]] heads below to see Erin nailing in the request and the guildhall collapsing from the blows, expect for the wall she’d been hammering into.

Thank you for the responses. I have already completed a few in the A, B, and C sections. I usually go about finding information by looking for all mentions of their names in TWI textand reading the surrounding chapter to get context. However, as Dynwll said, for some there is practically nothing known. As for what I would like to put in the pages themselves, I usually copy a preexisting monster page format and substitute the info and names. If you would like to see what it looks like I did the pages for: Acidfly Queens, Aqua Bulls, Armored Graen, Armorgators, and Camouflaged Scorpions.

Platinum has a white color and almost seems to glow when polished, despite not being an inherently magical metal.

This metal is almost never used in armor besides for ceremonial purposes, as it is very expensive and not very strong. Despite not being in armors it is very commonly used in high grade magic artifacts. These can include rings, amulets, and bracelets. Platinum is similar to a classical wand core in the fact that it works well with, and even improves the mana flow of a artifact. Platinum becomes a very powerful metal when used with enchantments and spells. It can also be used as a conductor for them.<ref>{{VERef|3.36}}</ref>

== History ==
The Eyes of Baleros were relics owned by the [[Nagas]], particularly those of the [[Jungle Tails]]. They were a notable part of the Nagatine Empire's power, and considered one of the legendary treasures of the world. Whenever they are lost, the Nagas are very invested in re-obtaining them, and other powers just as invested in keeping them out of their hands, and so wars have been fought over them. They used the Eyes to expulse the [[Lucifen]] from [[Baleros]].<ref name=":0">[https://wanderinginn.com/2023/04/01/interlude-stories/ Interlude - Stories]</ref>

The Eyes would be stolen by [[Thivian Stormless]], the Lightning Thief, in what would be remembered as one of his most famous adventures.

One of the Eyes is being guarded by the [[Gazers|Gazer]] Great Company, the Eyes of Baleros, so that the Nagas do not regain possession of them.<ref name=":1">[https://wanderinginn.com/2023/06/04/interlude-trade-and-travel/ Interlude - Trade and Travel]</ref> The other Eye was in the possession of the city of [[Manus]], until it was stolen by the [[Antinium]] during the [[First Antinium War]]. [[Bviora Stormless]] planed to steal [[Klbkch]]'s swords and ransom them in exchange for the one of the Eyes, to win the inheritance of the Lightning Thief, her great-grandfather.<ref name=":0" /> She and [[Vetn]] stole one sword, though the Antinium were initially unaware whether they had it. After the [[Grand Queen]] was informed, she considered trading it for the sword, potentially letting the Nagas reclaim it and plunging Baleros into chaos.<ref name=":2" />

The Eye was traded to the [Thieves] through a [[Persua Mavva|City Runner]], and then were chased by a vengeful [[Klbkch]] and agents of the Walled Cities, with [[Tesy]] interfering with the pursuing parties. At Covieke, the pair managed to escape Izril with the Eye onboard a Drowned ship, thanks to [[Cauwine]] intercepting Klbkch. Undead are [[monsters]] that are self-formed or reanimated.

== Background ==

Death magic will accumulate in the head of an undead, which makes it a weak spot as they can be put down if the head sustains enough damage, though headless undead are still a possible occurrence.<ref name=":0" />

In general, the undead rise in a certain order. First zombies, then skeletons and if the slaughter is great enough, even Ghouls. There is usually a ratio of one Ghoul rising for every ten zombies, and zombies will turn into Ghouls over time.<ref name=":0">Gravesong Book One</ref> Given time, stronger undead will emerge as well, like Crypt Lords and higher undead.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/09/28/3-18-t/ Chapter 3.18 T]</ref> Some classes naturally result in stronger undead, such as [Warriors] becoming Ghouls. Methods to mitigate the natural rising of undead until the body is properly tended to include using Gravesalt (salt, ashes, silver), having a [Gravetender] see to the body, and putting plants near the body to eat the death magic. [Mages] can also reanimate the dead as well, and the ones who do so are generally called [Necromancers] and obtain it as a [[Classes|Class]]. == Background ==

Skeletons appear as a animated bone structure of whatever creature they were in life, be it Humans, Drakes, or Gardua. == Synopsis ==

* Lyonette wakes up to becoming a level 6 [Princess] and gaining [Royal Tax]. She realizes that knighting Brunkr must have done it, and heads downstairs to help with breakfast. She notices some guests have overpaid and tries to return the difference, but they don't take it. Erin tells Lyonette that it's a tip, but Lyonette realizes it's a result of her new skill working. She wants to tell Erin her secret but realizes it would put her in danger and it would be much safer if the only person on the continent that knew her identity was Magnolia Reinhart. And Pawn and Ryoka, but no one else.
* Ryoka tells Krshia that she's sure Lyonette's a princess. Brunkr's still in shock at becoming a [Knight] overnight and Krshia wanted to confirm with Ryoka that he and Ishkr hadn't misheard. Ryoka doesn't think that the revelation changes anything but Krshia disagrees. Ryoka asks about Regrika Blackpaw and the Gnoll pair begins to gush over the Named Adventurer. Ryoka tries to leave before Krshia insists she finishes enjoying the cubes of meat.
* The Horns sit at a table in the Adventurer's Guild feeling dejected after seeing Regrika. Ceria tells them that Regrika's nickname is Fortress Blackpaw, whilst Ksmvr isn't sure of what emotions he should have been feeling after seeing the Named Adventurer. Selys calls them over and she tells them that her grandmother, the Guildmaster, has not verified them as Gold-rank and needs them to take on some requests to prove that they deserve the rank.
* She also informs Pisces that he can't practice [Necromancy] and reads out a long list of species' bones that he is banned from using, notably excluding Lizardfolk. Pisces becomes more hostile over the limitation and before Ceria can say anything Ksmvr makes an objection and says that other adventurers would agree. Another adventurer pipes up and says that they wouldn't want a [Necromancer], but Ksmvr is offended by the idea that his corpse would hold no tactical value. They return to the inn.
* Ceria suddenly exclaims that she's learnt a new spell and demonstrates [Ice Wall] to her team and the other patrons. She tells the others that this was the spell Teriarch told her to learn and Typhenous gives his approval. Yvlon returns and tells her team that she's gotten a request for them to do, hunting a trio of bears just past Esthelm. Ceria notices that Yvlon is a bit upset but the other gold-ranks start to give her advice: make sure they're not actually Mothbears, or rabid or infected by Brainshrooms.
* The Horns take Termin's wagon to their destination and Ceria asks why Yvlon took the request. Yvlon tells them that she was tired of sitting around and Ceria says that they normally talk about things beforehand, but let's it slide. They talk about Regrika and her gold-rank Mage and Yvlon says that as they're still silver-rank she chose a request that would remind them of that.
* Pisces disagrees saying that he considers the team equivalent to a new gold-rank team and he at least rates himself at that level. Yvlon argues back, asking if he thinks he's comparable to Typhenous or Moore and Pisces tells her that he doesn't think it's apt to compare to veteran gold-ranks, plus he's being restricted from using the full extent of his class. Yvlon continues the argument by reminding Pisces of the horrors that Az'Kerash unleashed and before Ceria can stop him, Pisces starts to point out that Yvlon hates him and his profession.
* Yvlon however takes a breath and tells Pisces that she doesn't hate him, she hates necromancy and the undead but she can live with Pisces himself. They suddenly arrive and Termin has them leave the wagon before hurriedly departing northwards to avoid the Goblin Lord. After an hour of walking they find bear tracks outside of a cave and the others look to Ceria for their plan of attack. She just suggests they charge in and sort things out. They do eventually come up with a plan involving Ceria's new [Ice Walls] to create a choke point.
* They discover the first bear's skeleton, filled with bite marks and then see the second larger one only half-eaten. Pisces moves his light source to reveal the third bear corpse being slowly eaten from the inside by baby Crelers. The Horns retreat to the entrance but the Crelers chase them and Ceria isn't able to block off the tunnel with her new spell. Yvlon cuts through them easily with her enchanted sword so the rest fall back, but then she thinks she spots and Adult Creler.
* Ksmvr leaps to Yvlon's aid while Ceria gets bitten and poisoned by one of the smaller Crelers forcing Pisces to carry her. Pisces raises the skeleton of the two bears while Ceria puts up more Ice Walls and [Fireballs] the group. The two undead bears manage to pin down the larger Creler for Yvlon to finish it off with her enchanted sword. The Creler takes 20 minutes to die and Yvlon says they need to get Ceria to a healer or Octavia. Ceria points out that Yvlon's arm is broken, but Yvlon tells them that she can't feel it at all.
* Ksmvr and Pisces finish clearing out the rest of the nest, saying that they took out 18 small crelers and the adult, but he informs Ceria that Ksmvr told him it was not an adult, but a Juvenile Creler. Pisces offers to correct the bones for Yvlon's arm and she agrees as she can't feel it due to having [Ignore Pain]. Ceria confronts Yvlon saying that nobody gets [Ignore Pain] so easily and Yvlon reveals her new class, [Wounded Warrior], and the skill let's her function as without it she wouldn't be able to bear the pain from her arms. Yvlon asks if Pisces can add more bone to her arm, but he says that it wouldn't work and be rejected by a human body.
* Yvlon begins to continue her thought from the wagon: she hates [Necromancers] and the undead, and her family has always been devoted to justice. They have a history of being [Knights] and she was raised to hate necromancy and would never choose to travel with one if she had a choice. But she tolerates it for Pisces and only him, watching to make sure he doesn't abuse his magic. She then shares her level a class with the rest of her team: a level 26 [Wounded Warrior]. Pisces tells her that when a Mage's class transcends they need to begin as a [Mage], and he reveals that he's a Level 29 [Necromancer], and a Level 18 [Mage]. Ceria likewise reveals that she's a Level 25 [Cryomancer] and Ksmvr reveals that he's a Level 16 [Warrior], having been only level 12 when they met.
* Ksmvr begs to not be ejected from the team and Pisces reassures him that they won't. They decide to return when they begin to feel cold after the Corusdeer soup starts to wear off. Ksmvr offers to carry Ceria but Yvlon points out that bear bones weren't listed on the Necromancy list so they have the bear skeletons pull them back to Liscor via sled.
* Regrika Blackpaw and her mage teammate, Ikriss, spot Ryoka walking in Liscor. They call out to her and invite her for a drink to discuss scouting the Goblin Lord's army. Ryoka tells them that she's had enough of insane runs and doesn't want to risk her life but Regrika stops and reminds her that she ran trespassed in the Necromancer's territory a month ago. Regrika turns her ring and the illusion disappears revealing her true form as Venitra.

It is commonly used in lightweight armor but is too expensive to make into regular or plate armor. Pure Mithril is not usually crafted into swords because it is too light and requires too much effort to get weight behind your blows. The most effective way to use Mithril as outlined by [[Dawil Ironbreaker]]<ref>{{VERef|4.45}}</ref>, is to refine and then mix it into a greater and stronger alloy. Dawil compares Mithril as a lesser counterpart to Adamantium, Orichalcum, and Star Metal. He notes that for Adamantium to be effectively used a [Blacksmith] needs to be Level 50 or higher, saying that he could count the number of times he has seen anything with Adamantium in it one hand<ref>{{VERef|4.45}}</ref>.

Relc is at least six and a half feet tall. His scales are light green, and he has huge arms, reminiscent of a bodybuilder's, with sharp claws on each hand. Relc's eyes are narrow, resembling that of snakes, being very yellow, with black pupils.<ref name="1.07">[https://wanderinginn.com/2016/08/20/1-07/ Chapter 1.07 (Archived)]</ref>

He also sports a forked tongue that can be observed when he smiles. Relc pronounces his words with elongated ''s''<nowiki/>'s, and has a deeper voice then Klbkch. Clearing his throat sounds deeper and more bassy then normal humans do. When rubbing his hands together, his scales makes them sound like sandpaper.

==Personality==
Relc is often immature. He prefers personal gratification such as eating or finding nice rocks to laze about upon while he should be performing his duties, much to the exasperation of Watch Captain [[Zevara Sunderscale|Zevara]]. However, he is serious about performing his duties when the situation calls for it and is dependable in a fight. Relc is also fiercely loyal to his friends and willing to own up to his mistakes.

Relc can be inordinately proud of his physical prowess, and loves to fight. He is also extremely fond of food and [[Puzzles]].<ref name=":2" />

When asked about his classes, he identified himself first and foremost as a [Spearmaster].<ref name="1.07" />

Choleric when he is mistaken for, or called, a Lizardman.

Relc served in the 1st Wing of the [[Liscorian Army]]<ref name=":1.38">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/01/25/1-38/ Chapter 1.38 (Archived)]</ref> under Wing Commander Weillmet.<ref name=":1">[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/12/08/5-44/ Chapter 5.44]</ref> He was a [Sergeant] and a [Spear Drake]. After he bested and killed a [Spearmaster] in battle, he gained the class of [Spearmaster]. He was then given an [[Relc Grasstongue#Equipment|enchanted spear]], which he had to leave behind when he left the army.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/02/13/4-12/ Chapter 4.12]</ref> That spear and his spearfighting skill in combination with his sprinting speed made Relc ideal as a specialist in going after enemy commanders and mages in battle. |Soon after, the [[Army of the Goblin Lord|Goblin Lord's Army]] came to attack Liscor and in the ensuing battle, the hero of drakes, Zel Shivertail, died. This caused tensions to rise throughout the city especially towards Erin who still harbored the remaining [[Redfang]] goblins she had taken in earlier. One drake decided to act on this frustration and attack Erin before Relc knocked him out, saving her. Relc then talked his way back into the inn. While the whole city was grieving, Relc was ready to move forward and he even acknowledged that Erin's goblins were different than those that supposedly killed General Shivertail. The two went back to the inn in better spirits and Relc got a free meal. Relc helped to bring the inn back to some semblance of normalcy as Erin introduced milkshakes to him and her few [[Halfseekers|other]] [[Ilvriss Gemscale|customers]].<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/10/5-00/ Chapter 5.00]</ref> That was why when [[Hawk]] opened up Pallass' side of Erin's magical door, he was one of the people that went through to explore the walled city. Pallass did not take kindly to the intruders, so all of them got in a fight and were luckily bailed out by Ilvriss' authority as a Wall Lord.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/14/5-01/ Chapter 5.01]</ref>

As the fiasco with Palass wound down, Liscor had to start preparing for its rainy season. Relc did this in part by inspecting the city's wall for any small damages or fractures.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/21/5-03/ Chapter 5.03]</ref> This inspection was well timed as soon after, a large group of [[Face-Eater Moths|Face Eater Moths]] [[Moth's Attack on Liscor|attacked Liscor and the inn]]. The city was slightly forewarned with [Dangersense], so Relc and many of the guards had enough time to make it onto the city's walls prior to the attack.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/28/5-07/ Chapter 5.07]</ref> Relc took on multiple of the giant Face Eater Moths during the attack and defended on the walls the entire time.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/31/5-08/ Chapter 5.08]</ref> Relc was not injured though, and he was able to go over to the Wandering Inn with Klbkch to discuss the aftermath of the attack.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/08/18/5-12/ Chapter 5.12]</ref> The next day, Relc left the inn to find that some members of [[Liscorian Army|Liscor's Army]] had come home including his daughter, [[Embria Grasstongue|Embria]]. Her and Relc immediately had a clash in personality as Embria was a staunchly traditional drake and Relc had been warming up to the more progressive mindset common in Erin's inn. He brought Embria to the inn as well which didn't help as Erin was selling cakes only with smiling goblins on them. Embria also gave Relc back his spear that he'd left at the army. Relc's history in the military was discussed then and Embria tried to convince him to come back, but Relc flatly refused and did not budge.<ref name="5.13" />

Relc continued his guard duties afterward. With the death of Zel Shivertail, Zel's armor was given to his niece, [[Selys Shivertail|Selys]]. Selys did not initially have the ability to guard it, so Relc was given the job. He also helped keep watch when Selys and [[Pisces Jealnet|Pisces]] moved Zel's ashes to be near Zel's lover [[Sserys]]' coffin as Zel had requested.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/09/04/5-18-s/ Chapter 5.18 S]</ref> Other watch duties - these ones more officially - that Relc conducted were conducting a survey of damages at Erin's inn after a large scale fight happened over the contents of a play that Erin had set up.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/10/13/5-28/ Chapter 5.28]</ref> Relc soon enough had to go back to his regular occupation of dealing with crisises. In this case, he had to deal with [[Raskghar]].<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/11/17/5-38/ Chapter 5.38]</ref>The raskghar were a continual threat for multiple days making Relc pull double shifts to keep watch. On one night, his daughter came to him with her concerns, letting her guard down for the first time. She told him about having to watch the antinium and how she didn't understand Erin. Just then, Erin came by and gathered up the two to participate in a planned attack on the raskghar to save the kidnapped gnolls. Erin got [[Pebblesnatch]] to hammer in an access point for the magical door in the raskghar's base where Relc and everyone else Erin could find was ready to charge through.<ref name=":1" /> The group successfully save the captured gnolls and defeated the raskghar.

Later on, the city heard news of the Goblin Lord's Army coming to the city. To limit unexpected variables, they moved to arrest the hobs working at Erin's inn. Erin wouldn't stand for it, so she tried to fight back, but she could not overpower Relc. He detained her while others got most of the goblins. Relc was then sent with others to keep watch at the inn and guard that important location. Unfortunately for him, some in the inn had other plans as [[Typhenous]] cast a high tier sleeping spell and put an extra dose in Relc's food that incapacitated almost everyone there in order to steal the door. In a dizzying series of twists, the door did not end up being stolen, though.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/01/22/5-54-2/ Chapter 5.54]</ref> Eventually, time ran out and the large goblin army came to Liscor. Relc was one of the key defenders during the battle. He personally slew [[Garen Redfang]] during the fight after taking injuries himself.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/02/26/5-62/ Chapter 5.62]</ref>

|Despite his previous hatred for goblins and many arguments about it with Erin, when Numbtongue came into the city of Liscor, Relc flat out refused to send him back through Erin's door. He recognized Numbtongue and his fellow goblins' massive contributions in saving the city, and repaid him in his own way.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/03/26/6-02/ Chapter 6.02]</ref> Relc continued to do what he saw as the right thing when he and Klbkch heard complaints about high rent. It was revealed that they had talked to overcharging landlords in the past and even unofficially arrested them when the problem became serious.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/04/16/6-08/ Chapter 6.08]</ref> These good deeds aside, Relc did still have to deal with the fact that he had been the one to kill Garen Redfang which did not sit well with the goblins in the inn. Tactfully, Relc stayed away for a while, and even when he did come back to the inn, he said he would leave if it was trouble for him to be there. Erin and the goblins were fine with his presence, though, so Relc stayed. Relc wasn't completely bereft of problems with their forgiveness. The argument he'd had with his daughter earlier was not an isolated incident, though the two still tried to meet every week. During one of these meetings Relc revealed his love of puzzles, and went around the city with Embria. As every meeting went through, it ended in an argument with Embria wanting him to go back to the army and Relc refusing. Relc didn't give up though, the two ended up finding out what they had in common - their spearmanship - and in doing so truly bonded. They talked out their feelings and eventually even promised to spar together again in the morning. Their relationship wasn't perfect, but with them opening up to each other and truly talking, they did develop a friendship.<ref name=":Interlude - Embria" />

Relc did go to the morning spar with Embria tiring him out and making Embria happy,<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/07/13/6-30/ Chapter 6.30]</ref> but in all his life wasn't much changed. The [[First Elections of Liscor|elections of Liscor]] were ongoing, and while Relc didn't want to get too involved, Erin did. She involved him and her acquaintances from Pallass in a bid to take attention away from Lism while also bringing attention to the wonders that herself aka humans could provide. Relc was involved with this primarily when Erin introduced the idea of a weight room and got him and [[Grimalkin Duveig|Grimalkin]] interested in trying it out.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/07/16/6-31/ Chapter 6.31]</ref><ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/07/20/6-32/ Chapter 6.32]</ref> Relc and Grimalkin formed a sort of friendship over these weights and eventually even Embria joined in. They were meeting at one point in the inn when a customer got too unruly, and Relc had to throw him about. Not everything was bad, though. Erin got her [Partial Reconstruction] skill and enlisted Relc to help her test out how much could be broken with it to which he happily applied himself. He also helped test out Erin's newly designed EZ weight bar with Grimalkin.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/17/6-38/ Chapter 6.38]</ref> He was also present as a peacekeeper when the council was finally elected. The election itself almost ended with a riot, and later on when some of the [[Tismel Lischscale|new]] [[Zalaiss Holmfyre|councilmembers]] tried to storm the council with all of the former councilmembers they could find, Relc was present to deter them alone.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/10/15/6-49/ Chapter 6.49]</ref>

With one event dealt with, another arose. [[Wistram Academy|Wistram]] mages eventually made their way to Liscor with a mission of capturing Erin and any other [[Earthers]], but also to get rid of the exiles of Wistram, [[Ceria Springwalker|Ceria]] and Pisces. They successfully captured the exiles, but Erin wouldn't be taken so easily. The Wistram mages failed to convince Erin after [[Mrsha]] smelled Pisces' blood on them, and she cleared out the inn until only herself, the [[Halfseekers]], [[Numbtongue]], and Relc were left. The two sides came to blows when the mages wouldn't tell the others what they'd done with the Horns. Relc primarily focused on fighting Isceil, and managed to bring him down, but the others weren't as successful. Relc was the last one standing before Grimalkin made it to the fight and saved him from being surrounded. [[Jelaqua Ivirith|Jelaqua]] made it to the fight as well and the three of them were able to turn the tides. They won the fight, and once Zevara arrived on the scene were able to calm things down enough to find the captured Horns.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/11/19/6-58/ Chapter 6.58]</ref> High Command of Liscor was bribed into letting the Wistram mages go, and Relc was set to making sure nobody else caused any real fights.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/11/23/6-59/ Chapter 6.59]</ref> Days afterward, Relc was present when Erin's dangersense started ringing horribly. [[Crelers]] were unearthed in the [[Bloodfields]], and Erin opened the magical door to them saving some of the adventurers that were trapped on the other side, but releasing the horde of crelers in the process. Relc saved Erin from the chaos, but he was hurt in the process from the swarm. Embria and her 4th company came to his rescue and called for a healer, but he was poisoned and out of the fight.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/12/22/6-65/ Chapter 6.65]</ref> Relc did recover enough later to help with the cleanup. With the fight over, the aftermath left Erin with a completely destroyed inn. She got it started rebuilding, and went on vacation in Pallass. Klbkch and Relc were some of the first ones to visit when the inn was finally rebuilt. They personally brought up the magical door after Relc did a poor job of welcoming new residents into Liscor. What they found, though, was that Erin was going to stay on vacation for a while longer, leaving Lyonette in charge.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/01/19/7-00/ Chapter 7.00]</ref> Lyonette being busy with the inn and the other employees taking time off as well, left Relc as one of the only options left for a caretaker for Mrsha. During one of these babysitting sessions, the two watched plays, but Relc also had fun with her in his own way by pitting her against a baby [[Rock Crabs|Rock Crab]] in a fight.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/01/30/mini-stories-crabs-and-drinks/ Mini Stories – Crabs and Drinks]</ref> It wasn't long after this that Erin's vacation was interupted by a large host of [[wyverns]] attacking Pallass.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/01/26/7-02/ Chapter 7.02]</ref> Relc and [[Olesm Swifttail|Olesm]] went to reinforce Pallass from Liscor. This event like many recently was being televised by scrying orb, and Relc was one of the key figures seen around the world, particularly when he went to attack the [[Frost Wyvern Lord]] alone. He wasn't enough however, and so he received help from some of Pallass' elite including Grimalkin, General [[Duln]], [[Saliss Oliwing|Saliss]], as well as surprise help from Bird who had snuck through to fight the big birds.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/01/29/7-03/ Chapter 7.03]</ref> The group got literally thrown back into Liscor after Bird nearly started the Third Antinium War, and the inn was in chaos once more. Zevara wanted Relc to report his side, but others wanted information from those there as well, including Erin who had been thrown back into Liscor with the rest. Klbkch was the least happy about the proceedings, and he beat Bird repeatedly in front of everyone even with Relc trying to stop him. It wasn't until Erin got in his way that Klbkch left.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/02/01/7-04/ Chapter 7.04]</ref>

Only later did spirits rise once again since despite the near war, Relc and the others were ''heroes'' of the Wyvern fight in Pallass, and Erin was coming back at the same time. There was a party in the inn to celebrate with plenty of jokes, and Liscor in general gained some more appreciation of the silly [Senior Guardsman].<ref name=":3" />

It looked completely normal beside having a grooved tip and the haft looked thick and made of a dark brown-grey wood. With it, Relc can take on any Gold-rank adventurer, as it is enchanted to pierce magic barriers like ''soft cheese'' and is durable enough to at least hold his own weight without even bending an inch.<ref name="5.13">[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/08/21/5-13/ Chapter 5.13]</ref>

== Appearance ==
Relc is at least six and a half feet tall. His scales are light green, and he has huge arms, reminiscent of a bodybuilder's, with sharp claws on each hand. Relc's eyes are narrow, resembling that of snakes, being very yellow, with black pupils.<ref name="1.07">[https://wanderinginn.com/2016/08/20/1-07/ Chapter 1.07 (Archived)]</ref>

He also sports a forked tongue that can be observed when he smiles. Relc pronounces his words with elongated ''s''<nowiki/>'s, and has a deeper voice then Klbkch. Clearing his throat sounds deeper and more bassy then normal humans do. When rubbing his hands together, his scales makes them sound like sandpaper.

==Personality==
Relc is often immature. He prefers personal gratification such as eating or finding nice rocks to laze about upon while he should be performing his duties, much to the exasperation of Watch Captain [[Zevara Sunderscale|Zevara]]. However, he is serious about performing his duties when the situation calls for it and is dependable in a fight. Relc is also fiercely loyal to his friends and willing to own up to his mistakes.

Relc can be inordinately proud of his physical prowess, and loves to fight. He is also extremely fond of food and [[Puzzles]].<ref name=":2" />

When asked about his classes, he identified himself first and foremost as a [Spearmaster].<ref name="1.07" />

After he bested and killed a [Spearmaster] in battle, he gained the class of [Spearmaster]. |Relc continued to be a regular patron at the inn as well as continuing his job as Senior Guardsman. His duties were ratcheting up as more adventurers came in to check out [[Liscor's Dungeon]] as well as Wall Lord [[Ilvriss Gemscale|Ilvriss]] occasionally causing trouble. The Wall Lord's lackey threatened Ryoka under the impersonation of a guard, and Relc was able to deal with this though nothing came of it given the Wall Lord's high position.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/03/31/4-24/ Chapter 4.24]</ref> One other complication of his job was the death of [[Brunkr]]. |Soon after, the [[Army of the Goblin Lord|Goblin Lord's Army]] came to attack Liscor and in the ensuing battle, the hero of drakes, Zel Shivertail, died. This caused tensions to rise throughout the city especially towards Erin who still harbored the remaining [[Redfang]] goblins she had taken in earlier. One drake decided to act on this frustration and attack Erin before Relc knocked him out, saving her. Relc then talked his way back into the inn. While the whole city was grieving, Relc was ready to move forward and he even acknowledged that Erin's goblins were different than those that supposedly killed General Shivertail. The two went back to the inn in better spirits and Relc got a free meal. Relc helped to bring the inn back to some semblance of normalcy as Erin introduced milkshakes to him and her few [[Halfseekers|other]] [[Ilvriss Gemscale|customers]].<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/10/5-00/ Chapter 5.00]</ref> That was why when [[Hawk]] opened up Pallass' side of Erin's magical door, he was one of the people that went through to explore the walled city. Pallass did not take kindly to the intruders, so all of them got in a fight and were luckily bailed out by Ilvriss' authority as a Wall Lord.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/14/5-01/ Chapter 5.01]</ref>

As the fiasco with Palass wound down, Liscor had to start preparing for its rainy season. Relc did this in part by inspecting the city's wall for any small damages or fractures.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/21/5-03/ Chapter 5.03]</ref> This inspection was well timed as soon after, a large group of [[Face-Eater Moths|Face Eater Moths]] [[Moth's Attack on Liscor|attacked Liscor and the inn]]. The city was slightly forewarned with [Dangersense], so Relc and many of the guards had enough time to make it onto the city's walls prior to the attack.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/28/5-07/ Chapter 5.07]</ref> Relc took on multiple of the giant Face Eater Moths during the attack and defended on the walls the entire time.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/31/5-08/ Chapter 5.08]</ref> Relc was not injured though, and he was able to go over to the Wandering Inn with Klbkch to discuss the aftermath of the attack.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/08/18/5-12/ Chapter 5.12]</ref> The next day, Relc left the inn to find that some members of [[Liscorian Army|Liscor's Army]] had come home including his daughter, [[Embria Grasstongue|Embria]]. Her and Relc immediately had a clash in personality as Embria was a staunchly traditional drake and Relc had been warming up to the more progressive mindset common in Erin's inn. He brought Embria to the inn as well which didn't help as Erin was selling cakes only with smiling goblins on them. Embria also gave Relc back his spear that he'd left at the army. Relc's history in the military was discussed then and Embria tried to convince him to come back, but Relc flatly refused and did not budge.<ref name="5.13" />

Relc continued his guard duties afterward. With the death of Zel Shivertail, Zel's armor was given to his niece, [[Selys Shivertail|Selys]]. Selys did not initially have the ability to guard it, so Relc was given the job. He also helped keep watch when Selys and [[Pisces Jealnet|Pisces]] moved Zel's ashes to be near Zel's lover [[Sserys]]' coffin as Zel had requested.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/09/04/5-18-s/ Chapter 5.18 S]</ref> Other watch duties - these ones more officially - that Relc conducted were conducting a survey of damages at Erin's inn after a large scale fight happened over the contents of a play that Erin had set up.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/10/13/5-28/ Chapter 5.28]</ref> Relc soon enough had to go back to his regular occupation of dealing with crisises. In this case, he had to deal with [[Raskghar]].<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/11/17/5-38/ Chapter 5.38]</ref>The raskghar were a continual threat for multiple days making Relc pull double shifts to keep watch. On one night, his daughter came to him with her concerns, letting her guard down for the first time. She told him about having to watch the antinium and how she didn't understand Erin. Just then, Erin came by and gathered up the two to participate in a planned attack on the raskghar to save the kidnapped gnolls. Erin got [[Pebblesnatch]] to hammer in an access point for the magical door in the raskghar's base where Relc and everyone else Erin could find was ready to charge through.<ref name=":1" /> The group successfully save the captured gnolls and defeated the raskghar.

Later on, the city heard news of the Goblin Lord's Army coming to the city. To limit unexpected variables, they moved to arrest the hobs working at Erin's inn. Erin wouldn't stand for it, so she tried to fight back, but she could not overpower Relc. He detained her while others got most of the goblins. Relc was then sent with others to keep watch at the inn and guard that important location. Unfortunately for him, some in the inn had other plans as [[Typhenous]] cast a high tier sleeping spell and put an extra dose in Relc's food that incapacitated almost everyone there in order to steal the door. In a dizzying series of twists, the door did not end up being stolen, though.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/01/22/5-54-2/ Chapter 5.54]</ref> Eventually, time ran out and the large goblin army came to Liscor. Relc was one of the key defenders during the battle. |Despite his previous hatred for goblins and many arguments about it with Erin, when Numbtongue came into the city of Liscor, Relc flat out refused to send him back through Erin's door. He recognized Numbtongue and his fellow goblins' massive contributions in saving the city, and repaid him in his own way.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/03/26/6-02/ Chapter 6.02]</ref> Relc continued to do what he saw as the right thing when he and Klbkch heard complaints about high rent. It was revealed that they had talked to overcharging landlords in the past and even unofficially arrested them when the problem became serious.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/04/16/6-08/ Chapter 6.08]</ref> These good deeds aside, Relc did still have to deal with the fact that he had been the one to kill Garen Redfang which did not sit well with the goblins in the inn. Tactfully, Relc stayed away for a while, and even when he did come back to the inn, he said he would leave if it was trouble for him to be there. Erin and the goblins were fine with his presence, though, so Relc stayed. Relc wasn't completely bereft of problems with their forgiveness. The argument he'd had with his daughter earlier was not an isolated incident, though the two still tried to meet every week. During one of these meetings Relc revealed his love of puzzles, and went around the city with Embria. As every meeting went through, it ended in an argument with Embria wanting him to go back to the army and Relc refusing. Relc didn't give up though, the two ended up finding out what they had in common - their spearmanship - and in doing so truly bonded. They talked out their feelings and eventually even promised to spar together again in the morning. Their relationship wasn't perfect, but with them opening up to each other and truly talking, they did develop a friendship.<ref name=":Interlude - Embria" />

Relc did go to the morning spar with Embria tiring him out and making Embria happy,<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/07/13/6-30/ Chapter 6.30]</ref> but in all his life wasn't much changed. The [[First Elections of Liscor|elections of Liscor]] were ongoing, and while Relc didn't want to get too involved, Erin did. She involved him and her acquaintances from Pallass in a bid to take attention away from Lism while also bringing attention to the wonders that herself aka humans could provide. Relc was involved with this primarily when Erin introduced the idea of a weight room and got him and [[Grimalkin Duveig|Grimalkin]] interested in trying it out.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/07/16/6-31/ Chapter 6.31]</ref><ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/07/20/6-32/ Chapter 6.32]</ref> Relc and Grimalkin formed a sort of friendship over these weights and eventually even Embria joined in. They were meeting at one point in the inn when a customer got too unruly, and Relc had to throw him about. This wasn't before the customer managed to deliver a whole drunken speech about the hatred that many had for goblins, though.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/03/interlude-numbtongue-pt-2/ Interlude – Numbtongue (Pt.2)]</ref> The level of vitriol wasn't aimed only at goblins, either. Not everything was bad, though. Erin got her [Partial Reconstruction] skill and enlisted Relc to help her test out how much could be broken with it to which he happily applied himself. He also helped test out Erin's newly designed EZ weight bar with Grimalkin.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/17/6-38/ Chapter 6.38]</ref> He was also present as a peacekeeper when the council was finally elected. The election itself almost ended with a riot, and later on when some of the [[Tismel Lischscale|new]] [[Zalaiss Holmfyre|councilmembers]] tried to storm the council with all of the former councilmembers they could find, Relc was present to deter them alone.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/10/15/6-49/ Chapter 6.49]</ref>

With one event dealt with, another arose. [[Wistram Academy|Wistram]] mages eventually made their way to Liscor with a mission of capturing Erin and any other [[Earthers]], but also to get rid of the exiles of Wistram, [[Ceria Springwalker|Ceria]] and Pisces. They successfully captured the exiles, but Erin wouldn't be taken so easily. The Wistram mages failed to convince Erin after [[Mrsha]] smelled Pisces' blood on them, and she cleared out the inn until only herself, the [[Halfseekers]], [[Numbtongue]], and Relc were left. The two sides came to blows when the mages wouldn't tell the others what they'd done with the Horns. Relc primarily focused on fighting Isceil, and managed to bring him down, but the others weren't as successful. Relc was the last one standing before Grimalkin made it to the fight and saved him from being surrounded. [[Jelaqua Ivirith|Jelaqua]] made it to the fight as well and the three of them were able to turn the tides. They won the fight, and once Zevara arrived on the scene were able to calm things down enough to find the captured Horns.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/11/19/6-58/ Chapter 6.58]</ref> High Command of Liscor was bribed into letting the Wistram mages go, and Relc was set to making sure nobody else caused any real fights.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/11/23/6-59/ Chapter 6.59]</ref> Days afterward, Relc was present when Erin's dangersense started ringing horribly. [[Crelers]] were unearthed in the [[Bloodfields]], and Erin opened the magical door to them saving some of the adventurers that were trapped on the other side, but releasing the horde of crelers in the process. Relc saved Erin from the chaos, but he was hurt in the process from the swarm. Embria and her 4th company came to his rescue and called for a healer, but he was poisoned and out of the fight.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/12/22/6-65/ Chapter 6.65]</ref> Relc did recover enough later to help with the cleanup. With the fight over, the aftermath left Erin with a completely destroyed inn. She got it started rebuilding, and went on vacation in Pallass. Klbkch and Relc were some of the first ones to visit when the inn was finally rebuilt. They personally brought up the magical door after Relc did a poor job of welcoming new residents into Liscor. This event like many recently was being televised by scrying orb, and Relc was one of the key figures seen around the world, particularly when he went to attack the [[Frost Wyvern Lord]] alone. He wasn't enough however, and so he received help from some of Pallass' elite including Grimalkin, General [[Duln]], [[Saliss Oliwing|Saliss]], as well as surprise help from Bird who had snuck through to fight the big birds.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/01/29/7-03/ Chapter 7.03]</ref> The group got literally thrown back into Liscor after Bird nearly started the Third Antinium War, and the inn was in chaos once more. Zevara wanted Relc to report his side, but others wanted information from those there as well, including Erin who had been thrown back into Liscor with the rest. Klbkch was the least happy about the proceedings, and he beat Bird repeatedly in front of everyone even with Relc trying to stop him. Only later did spirits rise once again since despite the near war, Relc and the others were ''heroes'' of the Wyvern fight in Pallass, and Erin was coming back at the same time. There was a party in the inn to celebrate with plenty of jokes, and Liscor in general gained some more appreciation of the silly [Senior Guardsman].<ref name=":3" />
