== Synopsis ==
[[Laken]] suddenly finds himself outside of his depth and not sure what to do as [[Riverfarm]] is covered in snow after being hit by an avalanche.

Laken resolves to try to help and convinces Durene to come to assist him by reminding her that a [Paladin] should help those in need.

When they get to Riverfarm they find most of the town and people are buried under the snow. The people above the snow are in chaos as they are all trying to rescue their family with only Durene having a tool to help. Laken realizes that he would be able to see where everyone is if he ruled over the village so he seeks out the village head Till to try and claim the village. He finds that Till is dead and after a burst of confidence Laken successfully adds the village as part of the [[Unseen Empire]]. With the village under his control, he can see everyone under the snow and with the villagers and Durene's help, most of the villagers are pulled out of the snow including [[Gamel]] and Siccy.

Laken acts as a leader, organizing the villagers to help them survive. He uses the flashlight on his phone to help them see and plays some songs. Laken and Durene both level that night with Laken's new skill [Blessing of the Hearth] helping to heal everyone.

== Synopsis ==
A blind man finds himself in another world. After wandering around a bit he hears rustling and asks if someone is there. Someone comes over to help and then the man starts to realize that he is another world after she doesn't recognize his walking cane. The man introduces himself as Laken Godart and the women who came to help introduces herself as Durene. After asking where he is, Laken confirmes that he is not on Earth anymore.

Durene lets Laken sleep in her cottage which is outside of the town of Riverfarm. Laken reveals to Durene that he is from another world. Laken begins to suspect that something is off about Durene. After talking about and helping Durene cook, Laken finds out about classes and levels.

The next day when Laken is helping Durene fish, some kids from Riverfarm start to taunt Durene calling her a freak. On the fifth day Durene goes to help fix a wagon by lifting it up, Laken notices how tough Durene's skin is and how strong she is. On the sixth day, Laken decides that he needs to get a class and asks Durene to help show him around Riverfarm. Durene shows him around the village on the eighth day and Laken leaves a good impression on the villagers but he starts to hate them a bit for the irrational dislike of Durene. On Day 11 Laken decides to become an [Emperor] but Durene says it is impossible to just become an emperor but Laken tells her the story of Emperor Norton. Then Laken declares himself as an Emperor and also as the protector of Durene's cottage. That night Laken Godart levels in [Emperor].

== Synopsis ==
Rags' tribe is sieging Esthelm while Rags and Garen watch. The city was burned to the ground and the Flooded Water tribe gets enough parts for hundreds of crossbows. Garen tells Rags that the humans will never forgive them for this and they have to go north.

Meanwhile in Celum, Wesle contemplates arresting Erin and Ryoka for starting a brawl with an adventuring team but eventually decides to just arrest the team. Then a street runner arrives with news that a goblin army burned down Esthelm.

Venitra watches as Az'kerash assembles a behemoth of white flesh. Az'kerash thinks about sending Bea to go collect more whale corpses to complete the behemoth before Venitra tells him that they let an intruder in. Az'kerash tells Venitra that she and Ijvani are to track Ryoka down and make sure that she doesn't reveal any information about the Necromancer.

Magnolia tells Teriarch that she got attacked and then goes back to questioning Theofore the only living assassin after an attack on the Earthlings with Magnolia. She suspects that the assassins might have been sent by the Circle of Thorns.

Griffon Hunt prepares to be the first team to enter the real Liscor dungeon that was recently excavated by the Antitium. The dungeon opens giving everyone a sense of danger.

Zel Shivertail stands trial before the Wall Lords to try and suggest that the Walled Cities form a coalition army to take down the Goblin Lord and any other threats. His ideas get shot down by the Wall Lords and the Lords descend into bickering before everyone's [Dangersense] goes off giving them an ominous warning from the north.

Niers receives letters containing status updates and one of them is a report of the Liscor Dungeon being opened and [Dangersense] being activated. Niers is unsure of what to do since the magical chessboard pieces have not been moved in a while.

== Synopsis ==
Ryoka reconciles with Erin after being teleported into Stitchworks. Octavia explains to Ryoka how reckless Erin was when experimenting with alchemy but Erin keeps experimenting. Ryoka helps Erin make Corusdeer soup, a magical soup.

Erin and Ryoka leave to go to the Mage's Guild. Erin sends a message to Selys and Krisha that she is safe while Ryoka sends a message to Krisha that she has the magical tome. When Erin discusses going back to Liscor she gets told by Ryoka that they should stay in Celum for now since it is too dangerous. They visit the Frenzied Hare an inn to rest at. The inn is run by Agnes with Maran and Safry as barmaids.

When Erin goes to talk to Agnes about her cooking, Ryoka meets up with Garia. Erin then sees an adventuring group the Brilliant Swords of Celum harassing the barmaids, she gets into a fight with them with Ryoka and Garia joining in.

Ryoka sees that Erin in Stitchworks with Octavia and reveals to Teriarch how her name doesn't work for scrying because it is only a translation from another language.

Teriarch offers to teleport Ryoka to Erin but he would have to erase her memories. However, after Ryoka convinces him otherwise he decides to send her to Erin with memories intact.

Before Ryoka leaves she asks if Teriarch wants to help her and donate a spellbook to the Silverfang Gnoll tribe. Teriarch refuses at first to share anything and just shows Ryoka a tome of Rihal which helps her understand how fire magic works. When Ryoka tries to take a picture of the tome with her iPhone, Teriarch makes a copy of it to use for himself. Ryoka bargains with Teriarch to trade the tome for the copied iPhone. Teriarch then teleports her away into Stitchworks.

== Synopsis ==
Ryoka is running to try and find Erin by getting help from Teriarch. She tries to talk the Frost Faeries into helping her but they are not willing to help, they are simply spectators to what is happening.

Ryoka arrives at Teriarch's Cave after he teleports her in. He was about to cast [Greater Geas] on her to force her to answer his questions when he saw Ryoka's feet which were bloodied from the run which stops him from casting the spell.

Teriarch thanks Ryoka for delivering the letter to Perril Chandler with a bag of holding. Before Teriarch was about to teleport Ryoka away she stops him by guessing that he is a dragon. He denies it until she punches him which after he removes the illusion. To get Teriarch to help Ryoka challenges him to a game of riddles. After a few logical riddles, Ryoka gives up but Teriarch still offers to help by scrying for Erin.

Erin starts wandering around after being abandoned in the wilderness by Toren. She runs into some wolves which she fights off with [Minotaur Punch] which causes a bear to wake up. While trying to ward off the bear Erin activates her [Loud Voice] which attracts a nearby hunter, Jerad Riels. A group of 13 goblins was sent by Garen to hunt down and kill Erin but they got lost.

Jerad guides Erin to the nearby city Celum. The guard Wesle makes her pay a fee for the bees and honey Erin had and recommends that she visits an Alchemist to sell the bees. She pays a young boy Grev to lead her to an alchemist but he leads her to an alleyway to get mugged. However, the mugging doesn't go as planned as Erin fights the muggers beating them up.

Then Erin intimidates Grev to go get the guard. Wesle shows up and once dealing with the muggers, escorts Erin to Stitchworks an alchemy shop run by Octavia. Octavia tries to buy the bees and honey from Erin, eventually offering to partner with her.

The inn has more guests than usual due to Antitium visiting to eat the bees that Erin had obtained during her expedition.

While Erin is dealing with the new guests. Ryoka is talking to Klbkch about the leveling system and her leveling theory that the maximum level is 100 and leveling in other classes slows growth. Klbkch discusses the peak of his strength before he was slain by General Sserys.

Ryoka tries to offer the theory as compensation to Krshia for the meeting of tribes but it is shot down since it is important but it doesn't have the potential to change the entire race. Erin closes the inn and both Erin and Lyonette level. While Erin prepares to leave for another expedition with Toren, Erin tells Lyonette that Lyonette is in charge of the inn while she is gone.

While Toren is pulling the sled, Erin goes to sleep. The sleigh bells that keep ringing while Toren pulls the sled finally cause him to snap, leaving Erin alone in the wilderness.

== Synopsis ==
Fleeing from the goblins chasing her, Erin heads back to the assumed safety of her Inn. She barricades the door behind herself and relaxes for a while.

Once Erin has cornered herself in her own Inn, she realizes, too late, that it isn’t very defensive. The goblins break in and manage to get a strike in on Erin’s leg, causing a gash. Using chairs and other Inn items, Erin defends herself. Though not seriously injuring her opponents, she shows that she is no easy meat, and forces the goblins to flee from her abode.

During the Goblins' home invasion, Erin also discovers a skeleton in the last room of the upper floor.
