'''Saliss Oliwing''', also known as '''Saliss of Lights''', is one of the most powerful Drakes in [[Izril]]. The highest-leveled [Alchemist] in all of [[Pallass]], and perhaps the world, Saliss is also a Named Adventurer, as well as Pallass’ only permanent resident Named-rank adventurer in the entire city.

The ‘'''of Lights'''’ of the '''Saliss of Lights''' Title comes from his ability to prepare hundreds, perhaps as many as a <em>thousand</em> alchemical weapons, that flash and explode like fireworks, but instead of crackling sparks, they explode into clouds of shining particles, crackling thunder and conventional explosions.<ref name="7.03" />

In Volume 7 it was revealed that Saliss is secretly a Turnscale who identifies as the opposite gender. Through the use of potions Saliss is able to physically become '''Onieva Oliwing.'''
== Appearance ==

Saliss has dusky yellow scales, and a slim body.<ref name="6.10">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/04/23/6-10/ Chapter 6.10]</ref>

==== As Onieva ====
Onieva has a tall slim body, with a unique coloration of rose pink and cobalt blue scales.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/04/12/7-17-s/ Chapter 7.17 S]</ref>

==== As Saliss ====

==== As Onieva ====

== Background ==
Saliss regularly spends time in Pallass' prison cells when caught walking around naked. [[Rufelt]] and [[Xif]] both commented on this offhandedly, implying that Saliss rarely is clothed.<ref name="6.10" /><ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/17/6-38/ Chapter 6.38]</ref>

== Chronology ==

== Powers and Abilities ==
Saliss is a powerful individual, even by Named Adventurer standards.<ref name="7.02" /> Saliss possesses one of the highest, if limited, combat potentials in the world, assessed by [[Grimalkin]] as stronger than himself, if Saliss were catching the [Sinew Magus] unprepared.<ref name="6.39">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/20/6-39/ Chapter 6.39]</ref> He also stated that if Saliss could destroy an army if prepped,<ref name="7.03">[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/01/29/7-03/ Chapter 7.03]</ref> and might actually do some damage to [[Cognita]].<ref name="6.39" />

== Trivia ==
* His surname was revealed in [[Chapter 7.02|Ch 7.02]].
* It has been mentioned by [[Xif]] that there is an adventuring [Alchemist]-Specialist of even higher level than himself, which implies that Saliss might be this person.<ref name="Interlude-Numb Pt.1">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/07/30/interlude-numbtongue-pt-1/ Interlude – Numbtongue (Pt.1)]</ref> This was later confirmed in [[Chapter 7.02|Ch 7.02]].
* It has become evident that Pallassian residents avoid the topic and prefer not to talk much about Saliss, or his heroic achievements.
* Saliss is the first person to ever laugh at Erin's inn name.<ref name="7.02">[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/01/26/7-02/ Chapter 7.02]</ref>
* Saliss is the most annoying Drake in the entire world, at least in Erin's view.<ref name="7.02" />
* Some people believe him and Erin to be quite similar. As Erin is Liscor's Crazy Human [Innkeeper] so is Saliss Pallass’ Crazy Drake [Alchemist].<ref name="7.02" />
* Saliss is rumored to have the highest attacking power in the world.<ref name="7.03" />
* Since Saliss worked for over thirty years to prolong/restore his Grandfather's health, Saliss can be estimated to be about fifty years old.<ref name="7.17S">[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/04/12/7-17-s/ Chapter 7.17 S]</ref>
*Saliss had a motto, which is ‘'''''acid is a solution to 90% of all my problems'''''’. The joke is so bad it had gotten him booed out of both the Alchemist ''and'' Adventurer’s Guilds multiple times. Still it is a true statement, though, as most of his monster-extermination jobs ended within seconds of him tossing an acid vial at the problem. And most monsters weren’t acid-proof, or at least not against ''his'' specialized acids, which can even eat away ''mithril''.<ref name=":Saliss the Adventurer" />
She wears a pointed hat wide enough to cast her entire body into shade. It is dark blue as the depths of the ocean. Her body is covered with a very dark ornamented robe that is long and draping. She has black wrapping around her hands, making only the skin on her face visible.
Her face shows no expression, and when she ''does'' try, like smiling slightly due to seeing her daughter, it comes across as awkward, and then quickly vanishes.<ref name=":6.37 E">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/13/6-37-e/ Chapter 6.37 E] </ref>
Az'kerash is aware that he has weak points, among them arrogance and an overconfidence in his abilities<ref name="2.48" />

== Background ==
Before he was known as "The Necromancer" and still went by the name of Perril Chandler, he studied at [[Wistram]].<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/11/14/wistram-days-pt-5/ Wistram Days (Pt.5)]</ref> While he emulated his teachers, he was also dismayed at poor innovative students. He was even teaching there, and called [[Zelkyr]] a friend.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/10/22/6-51-a/ 6.51 A]</ref>

A century ago, he slew [[Kerash]], the beloved Chieftain of the [[Gnolls]] whom some had labeled the first ‘King of Gnolls’. For killing him, the Gnolls dubbed the Necromancer as Az’kerash (‘Slayer of Kerash’).

For over a century, he plagued [[Terandria]], by leading armies of death against the living. He would destroy and despoil kingdoms, his undead armies beaten back only after much effort and then disappear before he could be slain, returning after years or sometimes decades, sometimes even faking his demise. When he returned again, he was stronger each time.

=== Second Antinium War ===
After the second Antinium War had started, the [[Az’kerash|Necromancer Az’kerash]] led a massive army against the port-Kingdom of [[Desonis]], where he quickly overwhelmed the kingdom’s army but did not approach the capital. Rather, he seized a local port and departed for [[Izril]].

''While his intentions for invading Izril were never revealed, [[Pisces]] believes that his aim were the walls of the [[Walled Cities]], as Pisces supposes they contain [[Dragons|Dragon]] bones.''

In his invasion of Izril, the Necromancer clashed with the army of the [[Velan|Goblin King]] before approaching Liscor. He besieged the city which was however quickly relieved by [[Zel Shivertail]]. After three months, the ruinous and increasingly desperate siege was lifted when an [[Antinium]] army under [[Klbkch]] came to Liscor's help. Zel Shivertail himself assailed the Necromancer's position and tore Az'kerash in two pieces. The Undead army was swept up in the aftermath. (See: [[Necromancer's Siege of Liscor]])

However, Az'kerash had once again only pretended his death at Zel's hands, likely with illusions and/or a necromantic construct that replaced him in battle.

=== Aftermath ===
While Zel and the majority of Izril's population was convinced of Chandler's death, he had in fact survived. At some point, he settled down in the [[Blood Fields]], where his huge castle is located. It houses his numerous undead servants. Although the castle is very large, no one, aside from a handful of people, is aware of its existence, as he cast a powerful veil around his domain. There he strengthens his army and is waiting for the time to unleash his legions upon the continent again.

Eight years before the main story started, he or one of his many undead constructs posed as a [Merchant] and went to a Drake village, bringing a wagon laden with goods and asking for news. There he met a [[Reiss|Hobgoblin]] under illusion spells that intrigued him.<ref name=":5.50 G">[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/12/29/5-50-g/ Chapter 5.50 G]</ref> Az’kerash saw that the Hob could read<ref name=":4.46">[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/06/16/4-46/ Chapter 4.46]</ref> as well. That night, he attacked the Drake village with a horde of undead, slaughtered the Drakes and cornered the Hobgoblin and fought him.

After defeating the Hob, Az’kerash offered him the choice of serving him in life or serving him in death. The Hob chose to live, and so he became his apprentice.<ref name=":5.50 G" /> Az’kerash then started training him, by giving him spellbooks and scrolls to read,<ref name=":4.46" /> so that he could make him his own Goblin King and use him as a weapon to strike the living with.<ref name=":5.50 G" />
== Chronology ==
=== <u>Volume 1</u> ===
Az'kerash was mentioned several times in Volume 1 as a historical threat, to both show [Necromancy] is considered a threat in general and a death-worthy crime in Liscor especially<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2016/09/04/1-11/ Chapter 1.11]</ref>, but also that the [Necromancer] [[Pisces]] is not nearly as dangerous as ''The Necromancer'' was.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2016/11/30/1-06-r/ Chapter 1.06 R]</ref> He was mentioned for the first time in [[Chapter 1.23|Ch 1.23]].

=== <u>Volume 2</u> ===
After [[Skinner's Attack on Liscor]], Az'kerash called all the undead (including [[Toren]]) and commanded them to come to him and bring him all the magical artifacts of the [[Ruins of Liscor]].<ref name="2.10">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/04/12/2-00-t/ Chapter 2.10 T]</ref> However, none of the Undead made it all the way to him and he didn't receive those artifacts.<ref name="7.14T" />

When [[Ryoka Griffin]] approached the Necromancer's castle on her delivery run for [[Teriarch]], Az’kerash was occupied creating a huge whale-sized creature out of bone designed to threaten the [[Walled Cities]]<ref name="2.48" />. He only focused a fracture of his mind towards casually surveilling the battle between [[Zel Shivertail]] of the [[Trisstral Alliance]] and [[Ilvriss Gemscale|Ilvriss]] and the forces of [[Salazsar]], which also occured near his abode. One of his servants, [[Venitra]] regularly briefed him on the situation as it unfolded, but the Necromancer decided not to interfere in the Drake's petty squabbles, just sweep up the fallen after the battle as future resources. He issued a kill order on anyone that penetrated his veil.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/05/26/2-24/ Chapter 2.29]</ref>

Ryoka broke through that veil, followed by [[Periss Veldant|Periss]] who was slain together with her Elite Soldiers by the Undead. Ryoka could run straight towards Az'kerash's study where he - his main consciousness still occupied with the Undead creation spell - stopped her with a [Sticky Webbing] and a [Silent Sicle] spell. He reprimanded Venitra and dismissed her, then dealt with Ryoka himself, commending her for coming this far.

As he then learned she was a [Courier] sent from Teriarch to him, he relieved her of the package and revealed to Ryoka that the [[Dragons|Dragon]] had sent him a birthyear greeting and a considerably minor artifact: an original ring enchanted with warding and movement spells in the Silvarian dueling fashion.

Supposing that it would not do to kill one of Teriarch messengers, he lets her go afterwards.<ref name="2.30" /> A week later, he finished his new undead creation, and woke from his focussed trance, ready to give orders on collecting fresh material for his next creations, of which he states to need at least six, and fourteen would be ideal. Still, he stated to work under time constraints. When Venitra reported to him the incident with Ryoka, Az'kerash became furious that the messanger escaped alive to tell of his location: Spilling the knowledge of his current abode could undo a decade of preparation and force him to act. So he tasked Venitra together with [[Ijvani]] to track Ryoka down and kill her along with everybody who knew of his castle - unless the Runner has kept confidential about it, in which case he expected Venitra to either call him but use her own judgement he was similarly occupied with a creation again.

After she left, Az'kerash considered that he was ready for a war, if the need arose; but if not he would have yet more time to prepare. He also pondered about Teriarch's role in the chains of events, as the Dragon was his mortal enemy but also a neutral entity that might now take sides in the conflict.<ref name="2.48">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/07/29/2-41/ Chapter 2.48]</ref>

=== <u>Volume 4</u> ===
Az'kerash interfered in the battle between his apprentice, the [[Goblin Lord]], and the forces of [[Garusa Weatherfur|Garusa]] by possessing him. Seemingly casual, he kill Garusa and her Soldiers and reanimated them as Draugr to send them towards their former comrades. After telling his apprentice to finish this, he left. After the battle, Az'kerash reprimanded the Goblin Lord, telling him that he had alerted the Drakes of his greatest weapon and failed to use it to proper effect: While Reiss tried to separate Undead and Goblins and hold back the Goblins forces to spare their lifes, Az'kerash expected him to ruthlessly sacrifice both in order to win more effectively. He tasked Reiss to comply with those battle orders, and to unify the Goblins, or otherwise perish in despair.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/02/24/4-16/ Chapter 4.16]</ref>

A few day later, he contacted the Goblin Lord to give him his orders. Then he asked him why he keeps the [[Osthia Blackwing|Drake]], as that while she is an [[Oldblood Drakes|Oldblood]], as a useful corpse, she was not. Upon hearing that he is using her as a spy for information, he told him with a voice filled with scorn that he already has all the information required, and that he does not need spies, only magic.

Then he remind him of his orders to go past Liscor and reclaim [[Mountain City Tribe|the Goblins]] in the [[Dwarfhalls Rest|mountain]], by taming their [[Tremborag|leader]], so that he could build his forces and wreak havoc among the Human lands. He also told him to become a Goblin King if he is able, and If not, then die cursing his weaknesses.

He then told him that he has his [[Venitra|trusted]] [[Ijvani|servants]] in Liscor, and that their tasks must not be compromised, as they have been occupied there for a long time, gathering information. Upon hearing this, the Goblin Lord started laugh and told him that his servants were not in Liscor for a long time, as he had met them a week ago, as they were lost and could not find Liscor.

Hearing this, Az’kerash said that he will reprimand his servants and thanked the Goblin Lord for telling him. Before vanishing, he told him to go north as he had told him, and burn the cities as he passes, while leave the strong ones undefended. He also told him to kill the Oldblood Drake, as he does not like loose ends.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/04/07/4-26-m/ Chapter 4.26 M]</ref>
Az'kerash educated Bea on sexual intercourse, which was something he never deigned to teach his Chosen before.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/03/21/mating-rituals-pt-2/ Mating Rituals, Part 2]</ref>

When Ijvani finally arrived at Az'kerash's fortress, the Necromancer studied the [[Healing Slime]] and [[Toren]], determining the latter to be a masterpiece that Pisces had created unknowingly of his true achievement: a leveling, sentient Undead made from a Necromancer's Archmages bones, inscribed with the spell matrix of a sentient Golem. That discovery made Az'kerash destroy much of his less valuable property in excitement (including major parts of his castle, his bone giants, his laboratory and the forest surrounding his fortress). He then resolved to reshape his Chosen, make them leveling undead (starting with Ijvani), and raise their number from four to ten.

== Powers and Abilities ==
The following people have been explicitly shown to be aware of the threat that Az'kerash still poses for Izril, while most other believe him dead, including most Terandrian powers including the [[Order of Seasons]]. This list also informs about their motives to act against Az'kerash.
* ([https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/07/29/2-41/ To himself]) “Arrogance is my flaw; even now, it seems. Of course Teriarch would not send anything less than a Courier to do his bidding. And that old fool <em>would</em> insist upon delivering me a gift, even if we were mortal enemies.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2018/02/24/4-16/ To] [[Reiss|Goblin Lord]]) “<em>You have disappointed me, my apprentice. I should not have to intercede on your behalf.</em>”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2018/02/24/4-16/ To] [[Reiss|Goblin Lord]]) “<em>If you want victory, you must sacrifice. Next time, place the Goblins among your force. Do not fail me this time. Unify the Goblins, my apprentice. Or perish in despair.</em>”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/07/4-49/ To] [[Zel Shivertail|Zel]]) “Hardly. My battle was never with one individual. I wage war with Drakes, with species as a whole. The living are my enemy, Shivertail. You do not merit my presence. My creations are enough for you. Each one is a masterpiece, unique among their kind. Look upon them and despair, for they are your betters.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/07/4-49/ To the] [[Chosen]]) “I see I have overestimated your capabilities. Or perhaps underestimated that of my foes. The next generation of your brothers and sisters will lack your weaknesses.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/02/19/5-61/ To] [[Reiss]]) “<em>A foolish attempt. Why would anyone conceive—ignore fools like that, my apprentice. That [[Erin Solstice|girl]] is not too far from a zombie in terms of intellect. And why she would assume…do I know her?</em>”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/10/22/6-51-a/ To] [[Pisces]]) “That name is old. Archmage Chandler was a man from a different era. Over a century dead. Address me as you will. But do so by the name they have given me.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/10/22/6-51-a/ To] [[Bea]]) “No. It is I who fail you. My craft is not yet enough. The strength I gave you was not sufficient to best Zel Shivertail. My Chosen, my children, are still children.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/10/22/6-51-a/ To] [[Pisces]]) “Someday, you will see the depths of their hatred for you, boy. Rejoice in your today, for that tomorrow lies ahead. Inevitably.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/12/25/6-66-h/ To himself]) “<em>No. </em>No. It will make [[Pisces Jealnet|you]] strong, boy. We must be alone. Even [[Ceria Springwalker|she]] will—let her die like this.”
Mrsha is 'insatiably curious' and loves the food in the Inn. She enjoys playing with Lyonette and stealing food from other customers.
== Background ==
Mrsha is a young Gnoll, born to two warriors in the [[Stone Spears Tribe]].<ref>[[Chapter 2.23]]</ref> She quickly bonds with [[Ryoka Griffin|Ryoka]] who passes through the tribe for [[Teriarch]]'s delivery.
Mrsha is found in a crevasse in the mountaintop, having been chased there by a goblin. She is rescued by Ryoka, but encounters the Goblin army on their return to the tribe. Once again, Urksh makes a bargain with the Forst Faeries, to "offer everything" for the protection of Mrsha.<ref name=":0" />

'''Sage's Grass''', also called '''Sage Grass''', is a famous magical plant and an integral component in many magical recipes. It is sought after by [Mages], [Alchemists], [Witches], [Tattooists] and generally any class that worked with magic.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/02/16/7-07/ Chapter 7.07]</ref>

== Biology and Cultivation ==
It grows in clumps in some meadows and forest clearings. It's long leaves are red and green.<ref name="6.36E"/><ref name="6.39">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/20/6-39/ Chapter 6.39]</ref>

Sage's Grass needs fertile lands to grow, but also ambient magic. It feeds on that [[Mana]] of its surroundings, which is then stored and amplified inside the plant.<ref name="6.36E"/>

While it is not the ''most'' magical stuff, large concentrations of Sage's Grass attract monsters, and it turns animals that feed on it into more monstrous versions. Thus, inattentive Farmers of Sage's Grass need to watch out for dangers: normal rats can turn into [[Magical Rats|monstrous rats]] and then turn into a plague that also infests other crops.<ref name="6.36E">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/10/6-36-e/ Chapter 6.36 E]</ref>
It grows abundantly in the [[Floodplains]].<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/07/13/6-30/ Chapter 6.30]</ref> Other areas rich in Sage's Grass are the Himalt Swampland near [[Reizmelt]], and [[Celum]] where [[Wailant Strongheart|Wailant]] grows it.<ref name="6.36E"/> But the grass also grows in small amounts at various places near Riverfarm.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/27/6-41-e/ Chapter 6.41 E]</ref>

== History ==
Sage's Grass was created and bred, according to [[Octavia]]'s knowledge, more than 5000 years ago by a [Sage] (hence the name), and obliterated the need to kill Unicorns or other magical creatures for their magical properties. It was, as one of the rarest magical components, traded for gemstones in these ancient times.<ref name="6.39"/>

A long time ago, the ancient [Stitch Witch] [[Belavierr]] traded a perfect Cloth-Warrior to a [Sheik] for three seeds of the Grass, then hoarding that grass for its power.<ref name="6.45E" />

In contemporary times, collecting and selling wild Sage Grass pays in coppers per pound at the Celum Adventurer's Guild.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/05/21/6-18-h/ Chapter 6.18 H]</ref>

== Usage ==
* ''Sage’s Grass Water'', which is produced by keeping Sage's Grass in a nutrient solution, can be used as a booster component in [[Potions|potion making]], especially [[Healing|healing]] potions.<ref name="6.39"/><ref name="6.45E">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/09/17/6-45-e/ Chapter 6.45 E]</ref>
* [[Wiskeria]] used some handfuls of Sage's Grass for her magical soup intended to strengthen and mend the community of Riverfarm.<ref name="6.36E"/>

The '''Faerie Flowers''' (first dubbed ''Alice Flowers'' by Erin) are a species of magical flowers.

== Appearance ==
The flowers have a yellow-golden color. They have a spicy smell, instead of a floral one. The nectar fizzes on the tongue. People with a magical sense can feel the flowers being magical<ref name="2.23" />, which means they are probably [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bioaccumulation bioaccumulators] for [[Mana|mana]], similar to [[Sage’s Grass]].

The bright, small yellow flowers are much like short dandelions, although the flower petals are much more exotic.<ref name="6.38">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/17/6-38/ Chapter 6.38]</ref>

== Magical Properties ==
Almost every bit of the plant is strongly magical and reacts differently depending on how and in which combination it is used.<ref name="7.11" />

=== Turning to Gold ===
A Faerie Flower can be turned into an illusionary gold piece by speaking the word "gold" when you hold one. This enchantment holds for a day and the gold piece cannot be detected as fake by mundane means, like weighing it, bending it, biting on the gold, tasting and smelling, and several other means.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/05/31/2-26/ Chapter 2.31]</ref>

Limits: Counter-illusion spells have not been tested. [[Toren]] was able to see through the illusion as if it wasn't there,<ref name="2.21">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/05/03/2-19/ Chapter 2.21]</ref> so other creatures and [[Undead]] that are able to ''see'' [[Mana]] flow and other magic, might also see through that illusion. Only Erin has been shown to turn flowers into gold, so the trick might be dependent on her skill [Wondrous Fare].

=== Psychoactivity ===
The nectar is a hallucinogen, and the entire flower is possibly psychoactive, including the pollen, petals and stem. Known episodes include:

* After tasting the nectar and expecting something to happen, Erin experienced an illusion of herself shrinking in size during an Alice in Wonderland like episode lasting an hour.<ref name="2.23">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/05/07/2-20/ Chapter 2.23]</ref>
* [[Halrac Everam|Halrac]] experienced a vision of his deceased love, Ariael, when given a beer with drops of Flower nectar in it.<ref name="2.21" />
* [[Apista]] the bee has become addicted to Faerie Flower nectar and has changed since. That mutation is probably also influenced by the highly magical environment of [[The Wandering Inn]] and her bond with the [[Beast Tamers|[Beast Tamer]]] Lyonette.
* Erin creates a weaker more tolerable version of the Faerie drink called Minotaur Punch. Contents: Firebreath Whiskey, a few drops of Faerie Flower nectar, then burn the Flower's remains in the Whiskey with Glory fire. Effect: Imbiber sees a vision of the past, in all its horror and glory. Relative duration unknown, but objective time can be measured in seconds.

Xif confirmed the magical psychedelic nature that even neutralized anti-magic blockers.<ref name="7.11">[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/03/01/7-11/ Chapter 7.11]</ref>

=== Soporific effects ===
[[Lyonette]] could use dead, wilted flowers to create a fire that made [[Ashfire Bees]] unable to attack her. Xif later determined that burning a wilted petal created a potent sleeping agent.<ref name="7.11" />

=== Reproduction ===
The Faerie Flowers that Erin received were able to grow again when they were planted in soil, even after having been slightly wilted. That shouldn't be possible with regular plants.

This ability has been later explored some more when [[Xif]] inspected the plants and found out they were all identical, basically genetic copies of them selves that reproduced asexually.

Despite frantic pollination through Apista, the flowers have not produced offspring or fruit so far. [[Pallass]]' [Alchemist] Xif suggested that they are not mature plants yet. Their trigger for maturity is yet unknown and may be seasonal or mystical in nature.<ref name="6.38" />

Xif has noted how difficult it is for him to cultivate cuttings of the flowers.<ref name="7.11" /> Whether or not this occurred because he did not fulfill some hidden, non-botanical criteria is unknown at this time.

== Chronology ==
Erin received the Faerie Flowers during her first winter as payment for hosting a [[Chapter 2.21|Faerie Banquet]].<ref name="2.21" /> She planted them together with Ceria soon afterwards, hoping to still make profit from the economic disaster that came from said festivity.<ref name="2.23" /> The Faeries begrudgingly allowed Erin to keep the Flowers, having expected her to throw the Flowers away in frustration, as is the traditional human reaction, but ultimately decided the Flowers were fairly given and they could not be taken back.

Lyonette forgot to water the Flowers during Erin's long absence in the winter, ruining most of them. She was however able to rescue the rest, burning the wilted ones for use in acquiring Ashfire bee honey.

Mrsha later took over watering the plants as part of her household duties, becoming a [Gardener] and later a [Druid] from continuing this line of work.

Xif forcibly purchased a single Faerie Flower from Erin for 220 gold pieces.<ref name="6.38" />

The '''Brotherhood of Serendipitous Meetings''' is a crime organization in Northern [[Izril]].

== Background ==
The ''Brothers'', as they also call themselves, insist on behaving as gentlemen criminals: They dress snappily in black cloth and leather, displaying distinctly good manners and politeness.<ref name="5.54" /> They are quite used to violence, although they concern themselves on not raising a large body count.

Neither the Brotherhood, nor their occasional partner organization, the [[Sisters of Chell]], are the largest criminal organizations in Izril, but they are dominant in in the "local area"<ref name="5.54" /> north of [[Celum]]. They are also present in [[First Landing]].<ref name="6.07 D" /> However, there are even bigger players such as the "Blackrock Collective" in First Landing, or the "Vanishers".<ref name="6.42 E" />
They sent a group of four medium-level brothers to Celum and then [[The Wandering Inn]], where they attempted to steal the [[Magical Door]] with insider help from [[Typhenous]]. In that group were at least two [Thugs]. They had skills like [Cat's Eye] and [Flawless Dodge]. One of them was called "Pilif". Their theft of the door didn't last long: One of [[Redfang Elite Warriors]] in Erin's service stopped them with the help of the [[Cave Goblins]].<ref name="5.54">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/01/22/5-54-2/ Chapter 5.54]</ref>

Afterwards, an [Enforcer] was sent to Celum to investigate the disappearance of that previous team. He teamed up with the investigators which the Sisters of Chell had sent, bought some of the newest alchemical innovation of Celum, Matches,<ref name="in-pt1">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/07/30/interlude-numbtongue-pt-1/ Interlude - Numbtongue Part 1]</ref> and left Celum with disturbing news about the resident Innkeeper of Liscor in the south, after helping in Numbtongue's fight with the gang of Alchemist [[Quelm]].<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/03/interlude-numbtongue-pt-2/ Interlude - Numbtongue Part 2]</ref>
== Trivia ==
* They use the codewords ''serendipitous'' or ''serendipity'' to identify themselves, mostly towards other criminals.<ref name="in-pt1" />
* [[Niers Astoragon]] considered the Gentlemen Callers "the best of the best" and contacted them about the matter of the [[The Wandering Inn]].<ref name="6.07 D">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/04/13/6-07-d/ Chapter 6.07 D]</ref>

== Appearance ==
In his true form Teriarch has a height similar to that of an Airbus A380.<ref name=":2.39">[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/07/22/2-39/ Chapter 2.39]</ref> He looks like a dragon depicted in Western culture, but instead of horns on his head he has a luminous mane that looks like molten bronze turned into some kind of living hair. His scales are deep golden bronze that glow and glint<em> </em>in the light.<ref name=":2.38">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/07/18/2-38/ Chapter 2.38]</ref> His eyes have mismatched colors of heliotrope and cerulean, with celestial lights shimmering within the moving pupils.<ref name=":2.17">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/04/22/2-16/ Chapter 2.17]</ref>

In his Human form he looks like an over 6 ft tall old man well into his sixties or seventies, with a lined face and a beard like an elderly statesman,<ref name=":1.08 R">[https://wanderinginn.com/2016/12/18/1-08-r/ Chapter 1.08 R]</ref> with a pair of eyes that are both heliotrope and cerulean, pointed upwards ears and a veritable luster mane of silver-gray hair. His body looks like a an Olympian athlete past his prime but with the same body, with a moderate olive brown whitened skin. His clothing looked like magical robes that look like silk and shine, like it was the most expensive stuff, on par with Lady Magnolia’s attire.<ref name=":1.09 R">[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2016/12/28/1-09-r/ Chapter 1.09 R]</ref>

== Personality ==
[[File:TeriarchSeal.jpg|thumb|290px|Seal of Teriarch, inspired by [[:File:Ryokabanner by Raoul Solomon.png|Ryoka's banner]] by Raoul Solomon.]]
== Background ==
Teriarch knows [[Magnolia Reinhart]] since she was a girl, that is since thirty or forty years in the past if his memory serves him correctly. They didn't lose contact, but she managed to hide the secret of his existence from the world.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/04/14/2-12/ Chapter 2.12]|</ref>

== Chronology ==

== Powers and Abilities ==
Teriarch is a very skilled mage, with power and knowledge superior to an [Archmage]. Unlike the modern mages of Wistram, Teriarch does not categorize spells into '<nowiki/>''tiers''', and even seems to find the idea to be silly.<ref name=":2.39" /> Regardless, if one were to categorize his spells, it is implied that he can cast at least tier 6 - 7 spells.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/04/22/2-15/ Chapter 2.15]</ref>

Teriarch is capable of creating a projection that he can control over a distance. However, the greater the distance between his real body and said projection is, the less powerful spells he can cast with it. For instance, he was limited to Tier 2 spells when he was fighting at an area that is located somewhere between Celum and Liscor.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/11/04/3-30/ Chapter 3.30]</ref>
Although she is royalty, she was forced to resort to thievery in order to survive. After being caught by the [[Liscor]] Guard Watch, she was exiled, though saved by [[Erin Solstice]], where she introduced herself as one of the Clavalettes, a member from a minor Noble House.

== Appearance ==
Lyon has a thin face, with bright red hair and bright blue eyes.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/04/15/2-13/ Chapter 2.13]</ref> Her height is similar to that of a Worker's.<ref name="5.26 L">[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/10/06/5-26-l/ Chapter 5.26 L]</ref>

== Personality ==
Lyon's personality has changed dramatically over the course of the story. At the beginning, she was overly dramatic, lazy, spoiled and rude. She has no qualms stealing from 'peasants.'

Since being taken in by Erin though, she's slightly more inclined to work, for the sake of leveling. Although she dislikes the [Barmaid] [[Classes|class]] because it is a class used by peasants, she loves leveling.

She initially abhors anything that isn't human, excluding [[Mrsha]]. After [[Erin Solstice|Erin]] left [[Liscor]] and she was left alone, she overcame her fear of the [[Antinium]] and became friends with [[Pawn]].

Lyonette has shown great bravery and intelligence, such as single-handedly retrieving honey and bees from the cave of Ashfire Bees using smoke from Erin's [[Faerie Flowers|magical flowers]].<ref name=":1">[[Chapter 3.21 L]]</ref>

<nowiki> </nowiki>By the Spring of 23 A.F., Lyonette has become happy as a helper in the inn, being able to manage day-to-day tasks and make proper decisions.<ref>[[Chapter 5.24 L]]</ref> She loses her [Princess] class as a result of this realization, but gains the class [Worldly Princess] instead.
Feeling useless at her home in Terandria, she ran away and booked a passage to Izril. After having arrived there, she had to escape from various monsters and with no food or money had to struggle not to starve to death.<ref name=":2" />

Lyonette came to Liscor with one of the caravans, though probably without their knowledge, that traveled there after having heard about the new discovered dungeon. As she had no money, she stole food and clothes, with the assistance of her magical artifacts, in order to survive. Eventually, [[Krshia Silverfang|Krshia and]] several other Gnoll merchants used Krshia's stall to bait her. Although they succeeded in catching her, it also resulted in the destruction of Krshia's stall, and more importantly, in the destruction of various spellbooks that were collected by the [[Silverfang Tribe]], ruining their work of the last decade.

As Liscor's Watch was wary of executing a possibly noble-born or the child of an important figure. As a result, the child was exiled from Liscor without any proper resources.

[[Selys]], a friend of [[Erin Solstice|Erin]], struck a bargain with [[Pisces]]. In exchange for notifying Erin of the Princess' situation, Selys will make Pisces a Bronze-Ranked Adventurer. Erin saved Lyon and subsequently hired her for [[the Wandering Inn]].<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/05/07/2-20/ Chapter 2.20]</ref> Initially, she is placed under [[Toren|Toren's]] tutelage.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/05/10/2-01-t/ Chapter 2.01 T]</ref>
== Relationships ==

=== [[Erin Solstice]] ===
Lyonette's early interactions with Erin are mostly hostile. As a [Princess], she refuses to take Erin's offer on being an employee seriously, and is either intentionally hostile or incompetent in performing the tasks of a barmaid. However, her perspective drastically changes after Erin is pulled away to meet Magnolia and she is left alone in the inn. By the time Erin returns, Lyonette has mastered the basic skills of running the inn and gains newfound respect for all that Erin does.<ref>[[Chapter 3.32]]</ref> While Erin's initial reaction to her skills was skepticism and criticism, after a tongue-lashing by Zel, the two reconcile.

After Erin hires [[Ishkr]], [[Drassi]], [[Safry]], and [[Maran]], Lyonette undergoes struggles to maintain control of the inn. She frequently clashed with Safry and Maran, human barmaids from Celum who do not respect the Drakes and Gnolls of the inn. During the climatic clash, she screams at Erin, revealing how hurt she was by Erin's continued disrespect as well as her lack of control over Toren, who frequently abused her. She runs away, believing that she would be once again fired, but Ryoka comes out and helps her get back on her feet, returning to the Inn.<ref name=":0">[[Chapter 4.15 L]]</ref>

=== [[Mrsha]] ===
Lyonette begins taking care of Mrsha when Erin was gone from the Inn.<ref name=":1" />

=== [[Pawn]] ===
Although Lyonette is initially terrified of the [[Antinium]], she starts to change her attitude while she is alone in the inn. During that time, [[Pawn]] was the first person to become one of her regular customers, and Lyonette provides meals to Pawn's soldiers during their first excursion above ground.<ref>[[Chapter 3.22 L]]</ref> She helps Pawn create the first batch of Painted Soldiers when Mrsha gets into paint cans and leaves white paw prints on a damaged soldier.<ref>[[Chapter 3.22 L]]</ref>

<nowiki> </nowiki>Later, when Pawn goes through a crisis of leadership, Lyonette inspires Pawn to be a leader, even if he was unable to fight himself. She encourages Pawn with her knowledge of how [Queens] inspired armies, and teaches Pawn how to be more graceful in leadership.<ref name=":0" />

Her relationship with Pawn is further explored when she loses her [Princess] class. Pawn notices her gloom and visits her daily, praying for the return of her class. When Lyonette realizes that Pawn is trying to change her, she flies into a fit of rage, yelling at Pawn.<ref>[[Chapter 5.25 L]]</ref> After Pawn puts on a ball for her, to regain what it feels like to be a [Princess], she realizes that Pawn loves her.<ref>[[Chapter 5.26 L]]</ref>

=== [[Ryoka Griffin]] ===

=== [[Silverfang Tribe|Liscorian Gnolls]] ===
Lyonette's first interaction with the city is with Krshia, where she inadvertently destroys Krshia's stall, and the magic books hidden within it. She is outcast by the city, and the Gnolls shun her. However, she slowly returns to their good graces. With the help of Pawn as an intermediary, Lyonette offers Krshia a jar of honey and her apologies for what she had done.<ref name=":3">[[Chapter 3.23 L]]</ref> Although she is banned from the city, she argues to reenter for the sake of Mrsha.<ref>[[Chapter 3.27 M]]</ref> After Ryoka paid her debt, Lyonette is no longer shunned by them.

==== [[Krshia Silverfang]] ====

==== [[Brunkr]] ====

== Trivia ==
* Lyon is the third daughter in her family.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/08/19/3-05-l/ Chapter 3.05 L]</ref>
* Despite being 2 years younger than Erin, she is a bit taller than her.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/02/01/7-04/ Chapter 7.04]</ref>
* While she appeared for the first time in [[Chapter 1.31|Ch 1.31]], it took around 55 chapters for her identity to be finally revealed in [[Chapter 2.21|Ch 2.21]].
* It was for the first time in [[chapter 1.33|1.33]] revealed that Lyon is a [Princess].
* She is distantly related to [[Magnolia Reinhart]].<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/05/14/2-21/ Chapter 2.21]</ref>
* Before she had started leveling in her new classes, 4 years went by without her having gained a single level,<ref name=":3" /> resulting in her almost forgetting feeling of doing so.<ref name=":2">[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/07/08/2-35/ Chapter 2.35]</ref> Therefore, she ''cherishes ''every level she now gains, no matter how insignificant the class might be.
* She loves dogs. And Gnolls!
*Being a [Princess], even if a low leveled one, Lyon is permitted to grant individuals unique classes.<ref name=":3" />
*Her family believes that by gaining classes that are completely unfitting to royals, such as Lyon's [Barmaid] classs, one sullies their position. Especially her mother seems to be of that opinion, hating of letting princes even take [Knight] and [Commander] classes.<ref name=":3" />
*When she was still thieving in Liscor, Lyon owned the [[Cloak of Balshadow]], several emerald rings capable of at least shooting a spider web<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/01/31/1-40/ Chapter 1.40]</ref> (possibly [Sticky Webbing]), and throwing a fireball<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/05/07/2-20/ Chapter 2.20]</ref> strong enough to destroy low-enchanted magical tomes.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/05/07/2-20/ Chapter 2.20]</ref>
*Lyon is expected to pay 47 gold coins of''' '''her own volition for the damages she caused (that excludes the destruction of the Krshia's shops and the spellbooks).<ref name="6.08">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/04/16/6-08/ Chapter 6.08]</ref>
She’d spent ten years dealing with the worst of hormonal imbalances, uncontrolled magical outbursts and the like.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/06/04/2-00-h/ Chapter 2.00 H]</ref> When she was still a child, a small bounty was put on her there for theft, property damage and something else.<ref name="Pt.2">[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/08/31/s03-wistram-days-pt-2/ S03 – Wistram Days (Pt. 2)]</ref> She was (of course) not on the [[Issrysil|continent]] during the Antinium Wars,<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/06/04/2-00-h// Chapter 2.00 H]</ref> and had never seen a Gnoll in person until she travelled to Izril.<ref name=":Pt.3">[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/11/11/wistram-days-pt-3/ Wistram Days (Pt. 3)]</ref>

When she was 58 years old (seven years before the book 1) and still a Bronze-rank adventurer, she started attending [[Wistram Academy]] together with [[Pisces]]<ref name="Wistr Pt.1" /> for three years. She followed Illphres for four months until she accepted her as a student,<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/11/14/wistram-days-pt-5/ Wistram Days (Pt. 5)]</ref> and was mentored afterwards by Illphres until her demise while fighting the Golems of Wistram. After the trial of Pisces, she was expelled from the school alongside Pisces, but was at least recognized as a graduate by the Truestone golem [[Cognita]].<ref name=":0">[[S03 – Wistram Days (Pt.7)]]</ref> After arriving on Izril, she resumed her adventuring career. She has fourteen years experience as an adventurer, which means she started her adventuring career before she attended Wistram.<ref name="1.40">[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/01/31/1-40/ Chapter 1.40]</ref>

== Chronology ==
Ceria enters the Wandering Inn storyline as a mage member of the [[Horns of Hammerad]] where she is one of the more experienced members but refuses to be vice-captain because she doesn't like the logistical work. That is the reason why [[Calruz]] has [[Gerial]] in that position.<ref name="1.40" /> She is very helpful towards [[Ryoka]]<ref name="1.04 R" /> and helps the city runner to explore her innate magic<ref>[https://thewanderinginn.fandom.com/wiki/Chapter_1.34 Chapter 1.34]</ref> until Ryoka challenges Calruz. Then, Ceria turns away from Ryoka with a stern warning.<ref>[https://thewanderinginn.fandom.com/wiki/Chapter_1.12_R Chapter 1.12 R]</ref>

During the disastrous expedition into the [[Ruins of Liscor]], Ceria and [[Olesm]] manage to survive in a stone coffin while the undead rampage moves towards Liscor. Her arm atrophies to skeletal remains in her attempt to stop [[Skinner]]. They are eventually rescued by Erin, Ryoka and Pisces, and Ceria stays at the Wandering Inn afterwards. She reforms the Horns of Hammerad with her as the captain and the only old member, but convinces [[Yvlon Byres]], [[Pisces]] and [[Ksmvr]] to join her.

Under her as a captain, the Horns of Hammerad discover a new location in the [[Ruins of Albez]] and get out with a considerable treasure, although only a fracture of what had been guarded by a Flame Golem. Ryoka runs the looted items to [[Invrisil]] to get them identified, and returns with one item sold for considerable magical gear that should bring the reformed Horns to ''Gold Rank''. However, the adventuring guilds require proof that the Horns are at Gold level. They do several more quests mostly around Liscor and Esthelm, but the group stagnates somewhat and is regularly outdone by the Gold Rank teams which frequent the Wandering Inn.

Eventually, Erin gets the [[Pallass|Pallassian]] mage [[Grimalkin]] to evaluate the Horns of Hammerad. The [Sinew Magus] spells out for Ceria that aside from her actual adventures, she has been complacent and didn't train enough; and he advises a rigorous training regimen for her.

== Powers and Abilities ==
Ceria can cast Tier 3 magic at best. It is possible for her to use Tier 4 spells, but she’d need a spellbook and weeks—maybe months to learn the spell at her level.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/04/29/2-18/ Chapter 2.18]</ref> Ceria has managed to learn over 50 spells, but mostly uses [Ice Spike] as her Wand contains the spell, which allows her to cast it much faster than her other ones.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/02/15/1-01-h/ Chapter 1.01 H]</ref>

She discovered that she can cast with her skeletal hand <em>simultaneously </em>the [Ice Shard] spell among each finger.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/06/04/2-00-h/ Chapter 2.00 H]</ref>

Being a Half-Elf, Ceria is able to channel mana better than the other races can.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/11/12/wistram-days-pt-4/ Wistram Days (Pt. 4)]</ref>
== Relationships ==

=== [[Pisces]] ===
Ceria's relationship with Pisces is long and complex. They first meet on the boat to Wistram Academy, where Pisces is one of the few people who does not take immediate prejudice to Ceria's half-elf nature.<ref name="Wistr Pt.1">[[S03 – Wistram Days (Pt.1)]]</ref> During their time at Wistram, the two grow very close, studying together and helping each other to gain magical abilities. However, the revelation of Pisces' [Necromancer] class alienates Ceria, and she stops talking to him for some time. Even then, she is still one of the only people in all of Wistram willing to have any kind of discussions with Pisces, and stands up for Pisces during his trial.<ref name=":0" />

After becoming an adventurer, Ceria still finds ways to contact Pisces when needed. She reaches out to Pisces to heal [[Ryoka Griffin|Ryoka's]] leg after it is broken, and they meet at the inn for the operation. During their meeting, Pisces notes that they have not met for some amount of time - possibly not since they had both left Wistram.<ref>[[Chapter 1.06 R]]</ref>

The two meet again when the Horns of Hammerad return to Liscor to challenge the dungeon, unsuccessfully. Ceria and Olesm are the only survivors, and Ceria contacts Pisces using an old form of messaging that the two developed during their time at Wistram. Pisces gathers a group of adventurers and rescue Ceria.

After Ceria recovers, she reforms the Horns with [[Pisces]], [[Yvlon Byres]], and [[Ksmvr]]. During her time as captain, she frequently comes in conflicts with Pisces, but she is also the one who understands the most about Pisces and his background.
== Trivia ==
* It was implied that she was "above level 20" when she first appeared.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2016/11/02/1-02-r/ Chapter 1.02 R]</ref>
* She loves ''raw eggs''. She loves climbing into trees and stealing them out of nests.
* The System allowed Ceria to immediately learn [Fireball], when she reached Level 18 in her [Elementalist] class.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/01/11/1-11-r/ Chapter 1.11 R]</ref>
* [Stone Dart], [Flame Jet], and [Chameleon] are spells she’d taught herself.
* Ceria's total Level, meaning if one were to combine the levels of all her Classes, is lower than Pisces'.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2016/11/30/1-06-r/ Chapter 1.06 R]</ref>
* Her robes cost her nearly a hundred and twenty gold coins – something she had to save up for years to buy, while her Wand was half as expensive as that.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/04/09/2-09/ Chapter 2.09]</ref>
* Strangely enough, Ceria swears by plants. Its is not known, though, if that is the norm for Half-Elves. (Example:''What in the name of tree fungus is going on?''<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/11/12/wistram-days-pt-4/ Wistram Days (Pt. 4)]</ref>/ ''Pisces, for the love of leaves, shut up!'')<ref name=":Pt.3" />
* Tired of having eaten leaves regularly for breakfast, Ceria strongly refrains from eating any again for the rest of her life.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/12/19/3-39/ Chapter 3.39]</ref>
* Erin told Ceria that she comes from another world.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/05/07/2-20/ Chapter 2.20]</ref>

== Personality ==

== Background ==
Selys, who is in her early 20s,<ref name="5.16 S">[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/09/01/5-16-s/ Chapter 5.16 S]</ref> estimated Zevara to be at most 7-8 years older than her.<ref name="5.18 S">[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/09/04/5-18-s/Chapter 5.18 S]</ref>

Zevara started serving as Liscor's City Watch Captain, six years ago.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/10/07/3-21-l/ Chapter 3.21 L]</ref>

Zevara likely does have an aura Skill.<ref name="6.08">[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/02/01/7-04/ Chapter 7.04]</ref> Zevara doesn't have a [Loud Voice] skill, but in every single instance she needs to be heard, those who have to listen assume she already has it.<ref name="2.26" />

== Chronology ==
Erin met her the first time after the death of [[Klbkch]], which was reason for Zevara to retract any protection from the Wandering Inn.

Zevara was then seen again in [[Skinner's Attack on Liscor]], when she led the scrambled defense after the [[Undead]] had already invaded the city. Her duty to protect the city let her stop Relc going after Skinner and fight Undead in the city even after Skinner had left for the Wandering Inn. Zevara then met Erin again in a debrief at the [[First Wandering Inn|Old Wandering Inn]] after the attack.

Just the next day, Zevara faced Erin and Ryoka after they had entered the [[Ruins of Liscor]] without permission. However, the appearance of [[Gazi]] changed the entire encounter and Gazi was only defeated by the collaboration of everyone present, including Zevara.

Three days later, when Erin was loudly yelling for Toren as she had lost her skeleton during the explosion and rebuilding of her inn just outside Zevara's jurisdiction, Zevara stepped in and told the noisy human to shut up.

Two days later, Zevara's authority was challenged again by the iPhone festival happening at the Wandering Inn, where she couldn't prevent the singing and dancing.

After [[Krshia]] captured Lyonette, it was decided that the human thief would be exiled instead of being executed. While Zevara was clearly involved in this decision, it was not shown directly and the political nature of the event meant that it also involved the enraged Gnoll community and the City Council.

Not many days later, Zevara had to break up a fight between Erin and her patrons, the Gnolls and two gold-rank adventuring teams at the Wandering Inn.<ref name="2.26" />

...

== Powers and Abilities ==
She is able to breathe fire, due her ancestral dragon blood, known in story as an Oldblood Drake. Despite this, she is not a dragon and so cannot use the ability freely; every time she uses it she feels as though she is suffocating. A couple of times is the most she can do before she would likely die, due to lack of oxygen.

=== Volume 5 ===
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2018/07/17/5-02/ To] [[Erin Solstice|Erin]]) “Me? Give in to those thugs? You have my intentions all wrong, Solstice. I’m not here to comply with Pallass’ demands. I’m here to resolve the situation.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2018/08/21/5-13/ To] [[Olesm Swifttail|Olesm]]) “Excellent work, Olesm. You saved us there.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2018/08/21/5-13/ To] [[Embria Grasstongue|Embria]]) “A dispute that Liscor’s city does not share. Liscor’s army may be under contract to fight for Oteslia, but I would hope that ties to home matter more than gold, commander.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2018/08/21/5-13/ To] [[Embria Grasstongue|Embria]]) “You would have gotten here yesterday. Too late. And now you have the gall to come into my office, into <em>my</em> city and demand to take charge?”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2018/08/21/5-13/ Thoughts]) <em>Dead gods, what will I tell the Council about all this? If I’d known [[Liscorian Army|they’d]] cause me more headaches I wouldn’t have bothered asking for their help in the first place!</em>
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2018/08/21/5-13/ To] [[Embria Grasstongue|Embria]]) “You’ve been gone from Liscor for a while, I understand that. But try to remember how we do things. We just survived one of the worst monster attacks in living memory. What do you <em>think</em> we’re going to do?”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/01/12/5-52/ To] [[Olesm Swifttail|Olesm]] & [[Ilvriss Gemscale|Ilvriss]]) “Tell them. And tell the damn Humans. Tell Tyrion Veltras. Tell the world. Liscor hasn’t fallen yet.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/01/26/interlude-krshia/ To] [[Beilmark]]) “However, every time I think I know your people, they always surprise me. Every time I think I know magic, it surprises me. When I see that light, I can understand how Gnolls broke our Walled Cities so long ago.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/01/26/interlude-krshia/ To] [[Beilmark]]) “It was a nice spell. Do it again without telling me first and I’ll throw you off this wall. Dismissed.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/02/12/5-59/ To] [[Erin Solstice|Erin]]) “They’re fine. Hearing about that was the only amusing news I’ve gotten all day. It was about time someone kicked your teeth in, with how many fights you seem to escape unscathed.”

=== Volume 6 ===
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/04/16/6-08/ To] [[Lyonette du Marquin|Lyon]]) “What in the name of scaled rats—who let you in here?”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/06/29/6-29/ To] [[Klbkch]]) “Trust the Blighted Kingdom to attack first and never try for diplomacy ever.”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/06/29/6-29/ To] [[Erin Solstice|Erin]]) “You can help. Ancestors preserve me, but I’m okay with that. Especially if you can get Klbkch to promise more gold. But you have to promise me—no disasters!”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/31/interlude-two-rats/ To] [[Ceria]]) “Then I will consider your crime. But I am the law. And I judge. <em>And I do not see the monster you would die as.</em>”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/08/31/interlude-two-rats/ To] [[Ceria]]) “What in the name of the Ancestors is a metabolism?”
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2019/10/15/6-49/ To] [[Olesm Swifttail|Olesm]]) “Of course it frightens me. And maybe [[Klbkch|he’d]] kill me, Olesm. And you. And this entire city. But you know the thing about traitors? It’s not all the times they obey that makes them a traitor. It’s the one time they disobey that does it. And I’m willing to bet on [[Erin Solstice|one]]. How about you?”

=== Volume 7 ===
* ([https://wanderinginn.com/2020/01/22/7-01/ To herself]) “Ancestors preserve our scales, if the Wyverns attack Liscor, I’m going to tie that [[Erin Solstice|Human]] to a ship and send her to Rhir. Let her bring disaster to the Demons.”
