Calruz was a very straightforward person. He spoke what was on his mind, whether it was tactful or not in that situation. He was guided by his own principles of honor in all aspects of his life.
== Background ==
Minotaurs come from Minos. Presumably, shares this racial origin.

== Chronology ==
After meeting Erin, he is dismayed by her lack of fighting skills. He teaches Erin how to fight, in particular the skill [Minotaur Punch].

After [[Skinner's Attack on Liscor]], it was presumed that Calruz was dead. However, Olesm realized that his bones were never discovered by the Watch after the attack concluded. During an excursion with Pisces, the two realize that there was the possibility that Calruz escaped through the 5th hidden entrance into [[Liscor's Dungeon]].<ref>[[Chapter 4.37 O]]</ref>

It is later revealed that Calruz did survive the fall into the dungeon. However, he appears to have gone mentally insane, either as a result of being in the dungeon, drinking the dungeon's water, or simply by suffering excruciating loss. As a result, he meets and challenges [[Raskghar]] in the dungeon, becoming their Chieftain. He is the primary antagonist during the events of the Raskghar Attack on Liscor, eventually being defeated and captured.

He has since been held in the strongest cell in Liscor's prison.
His name is known around the world, as he managed to conquer almost half of the civilized world. The current era of history, A.F., is named for him.

== Appearance ==
Flos is over six feet high<ref name=":6.12 K">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/04/30/6-12-k/ Chapter 6.12 K]</ref> and has golden-red hair with slightly faded colors and a beard.<ref name=":2.00 K">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/05/05/2-00-k/ Chapter 2.00 K]</ref>

== Personality ==
Flos is larger than life, dominating any social setting or gathering he walks in upon, whether or not he's meeting his allies or his enemies. He displays an intense curiosity about the world, often to a remarkable level of minutiae.

Flos hungers for stories. Stories of Earth, stories of new and exciting things and places. Such stories, and the proof of them, is what his surviving Seven spent over a decade scouring the world for, in order to awaken their sleeping king. To this end, Gazi Pathseeker even attempted to kidnap Erin Solstice. But it was Trey and Teres' stories of Earth which finally woke the King of Destruction from his slumber of decades. Flos has displayed an intense curiosity about anything having to do with the Earth, and enjoys speculating who would win in a war: himself, or the forces of Earth.

Above all, Flos considers himself a [King]. His will to conquer is absolute, and he considers it his own right - his purpose in life - to conquer any and all lands and peoples within his reach, potentially even including Earth. In a similar way, he recognizes the right of his enemies to beat him back by force of arms.

If they can.

== Background ==
Flos ascended to the throne of Reim at an early age, at fourteen or fifteen years old after the passing of his mother. King Treland of the neighboring kingdom of Helios invaded at this time, hoping to take advantage of Reim's period of weakness and seize its lands for his own kingdom.

Flos could not stop the invasion by force of arms. So he instead resorted to trickery, riding around Helios' armies and, along with Gazi, making his way to the enemy kingdom's capital city, defended at this time only by a token force.

After taking the city's walls, Flos walked into the throne room and challenged King Treland to single combat. Flos Reimarch defeated and killed the higher-level [King] in this duel, thereby beginning the legend of the King of Destruction.

Flos' legendary campaign of conquest lasted for six or seven years, by the end of which he had conquered most of the continent of Chandrar, and forged alliances or neutrality pacts with the very few nations which he did not conquer. After this was accomplished, Flos achieved something unprecedented in modern times, dispatching his armies to begin conquering other parts of the world. His armies landed and took territory on three continents - [[Baleros]], [[Issrysil]], and likely [[Rhir]].

In Issrysil his armies, led by [[Amerys]],<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/04/03/4-25-n/ Chapter 4.25 N]</ref> landed on the southern shores. However, they didn't get far, because they soon traveled back to Chandrar after having heard of him abandoning them.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/04/12/2-10/ Chapter 2.10]</ref> In Baleros his armies suffered a defeat at the hands of Niers Astoragon, resulting in the death of one of Flos' closest friends, his lover, [[Queravia]] of the Seven. Her demise, and later [[Tottenval]]'s, is what caused Flos to fall into depression (his "slumber", leading him to go back to [[Reim]] where he "slept" for the next 10 years.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2018/01/13/4-02-k/ Chapter 4.02 K]</ref>
His name is known around the world, as he managed to conquer almost half of the civilized world. The current era of history, A.F., is named for him.

== Appearance ==
Flos is over six feet high<ref name=":6.12 K">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/04/30/6-12-k/ Chapter 6.12 K]</ref> and has golden-red hair with slightly faded colors and a beard.<ref name=":2.00 K">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/05/05/2-00-k/ Chapter 2.00 K]</ref>

== Personality ==

Such stories, and the proof of them, is what his Seven spent the world searching for in order to awaken him. It was Trey and Teres' stories of Earth which finally woke him from his slumber of decades.

== Background ==
Around 10 years ago, shortly before he gave up his dream of conquering the world, Flos did what was earlier unheard of. He had his armies cross the gigantic ocean and invade three other continents. Among those were [[Baleros]], [[Issrysil]], and likely [[Rhir]].

In Issrysil his armies, led by [[Amerys]],<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/04/03/4-25-n/ Chapter 4.25 N]</ref> landed on the southern shores. Both her and later [[Tottenval]] demise is what caused Flos' depression, leading him to go back to [[Reim]] where he "slept" for the next 10 years.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2018/01/13/4-02-k/ Chapter 4.02 K]</ref>

SnowGN: /* Limits */

== Background ==
A class is something that represents a hobby or profession. As you gain levels in a class, you will gain new [[Skills]], enabling you to do things that you would not be able to do normally. Leveling and gaining a class relies on mentality - if you are convinced that you cannot cook, or you do not find cooking to be important, for example, it is unlikely that you will ever gain a [[Cooking (skill)|[Basic Cooking]]] skill, regardless of your actual skill in cooking - an example of this can be seen with [[Erin Solstice]]'s lack of the [Tactician] class, despite her skill in chess.

The majority of people reach Level 20 in at least one class over the course of their lives. Much less individuals manage to reach Level 30; A handful in each town; a few dozen in a city. Few people ever reach Level 40, and they tend to be quite famous. People who have reached Level 50 or above are generally known throughout the world.''<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/07/04/2-34/ Chapter 2.34]</ref> ''

There is a hierarchy among classes. In the case of classes that are able to influence people, the best ones are capable of influencing even entire kingdoms; among those are royal classes, such as [King], [Queen], [Princess], etc.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/10/14/3-23-l/ Chapter 3.23 L]</ref>

Not all those who have the same class are the same, as they pursue different goals their skills and classes reflect that. As an example for the [King] Class is, those who sit upon thrones and pursue peace, under their rule crops grow mightily, and their people rest under an aegis of protection, while Kings who pursues war, will lead the people into battle, not replenish the land or rebuild.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2018/01/09/4-01-k/ Chapter 4.01 K]</ref>

== Leveling ==
"Once of course, all races fought with tooth and claw and magic, but then they divided. Those who decided to forsake their natures and pursue a different truth received the gift of [Leveling], while those creatures who stayed true to their nature kept the might of their natures instead."<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2016/08/20/1-07/ Chapter 1.07]</ref>

“All those that Think—Feel. From Feeling do we Act. It is in Action that<nowiki> </nowiki>we Level. All those who Think have a Class. And it is in that Class which we find destiny.” (Book of Levels)<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2016/09/25/1-17/ Chapter 1.17]</ref>

Leveling comes from learning, and trials. Those who consistently do the same will not level. More importantly, Classes are based on what a person pursues. In Erin's case, by regarding chess solely as a game, in contrast to someone who considers tactical applications, like in warfare, she won't level, no matter how good she is. <ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2016/11/16/1-27/ Chapter 1.27]</ref>

== [[Skills]] ==
Not everybody with the same class gets the same skills. It depends on what the person ''needs ''and ''desires ''for the system to decide which skills to hand out.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2016/11/16/1-27/ Chapter 1.27]</ref>

Every 10 levels one will receive a rare Skill.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/04/25/2-17/ Chapter 2.17]</ref>

== Class Change ==
It is possible for classes to receive a different name later on. One reason for a change could be due to a specialisation in a certain field. A [Warrior], for instance, might decide to focus on using solely one specific weapon, like a spear, which might result him becoming a [Spearmaster] after having reached a high enough level. Another reason would be for to simply advance. One example for such a case would be a [Tactician] becoming a [Strategist]. That said, depending on the skills a person's class might never change, no matter how high it is. <ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2016/11/16/1-27/ Chapter 1.27]</ref>

=== Known Changes: ===

==== Specialization: ====
* [Tactician] → [Leader] or [General]
* [Warrior] → [Spearmaster], [Swordslayer], [Knight], [Vanguard]
* [Skeleton Warrior] → [Skeleton Knight]
* [Lord] → [King], [Queen]
* [Bandit] → [Bandit Lord]
* [Scout] → [Veteran Scout]

==== Advancement: ====
* [Tactician] → [Strategist] (Usually either at Level 30 [Tactician] or Level 20 [Tactician] combined a military rank like a Level 10 [Sergeant] <ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/05/17/4-36-o/ Chapter 4.36 O]</ref>)→ [Grandmaster Strategist]
* [Queen] → [Supreme Matriarch]
* [Carer] → [Governess]<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/10/14/3-23-l/ Chapter 3.23 L]</ref>
* [Flailmaster] → [Iron Tempest]<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/10/26/3-27-m/ Chapter 3.27 M]</ref>
* [Innkeeper] → [Magical Innkeeper]

== Class Merging ==
It is possible for two classes to merge to create a new, hybrid class. For instance, a [Warrior] and a [Strategist] class may merge to form a [Commander] class. Class merging is rare, and it may require enough levels in both classes and/or fulfilling rare conditions. <br>It is even regarded a secret, seemingly an important one, as royal families think it necessary to pass this information down to the next generation. Generally speaking, merged classes are better than ''normal'' ones.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/10/14/3-23-l/ Chapter 3.23 L]</ref>

=== Known Merges: ===
* [Warrior] + [Strategist] = [Commander]<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/06/07/2-27/ 2.27]</ref>
* [Warrior] + [Rider] = [Dragoon]<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/06/14/2-03-g/ 2.03 G]</ref>
* [Leader] + [Scavenger] + [Tinkerer] = [Chieftain]
* (Royal classes, such as [Lord], [Princess])<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/10/14/3-23-l/ Chapter 3.23 L]</ref>
The name of the same Class can vary depending on the culture. For example, a [Warrior] could be a [Fighter] in a different culture. <ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2016/11/02/1-02-r/ Chapter 1.02 R]</ref>

=== Known Cases: ===
* [Warrior] - [Fighter]
* [Knight] - [Axemaster]
* [Cryomancer] - [Ice Mage]<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/06/30/s03-wistram-days-pt-1/ S03 – Wistram Days (Pt. 1)]</ref>

== Limits ==
Ryoka has speculated that there is a hard level cap or soft cap of 100. That theory has been supported by Klbkch's review of several hundred individuals with high levels, whose cumulative level rarely approaches one hundred.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/07/11/2-36/ Chapter 2.36] </ref> Furthermore, that research has shown that individuals with more than two classes rarely surpass Level 30

== Problems ==
People have become in certain areas narrow-minded due to the system. If one does something without having a class in that area, one already expects to be a failure in it.
== Trivia ==
* '''The Book of Levels''', a book that was originally written nearly a thousand years ago, is part of the education of any child, which teaches them the essence of leveling.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2016/09/25/1-17/ Chapter 1.17]</ref>
* It was hinted by the [[Faeries]] that the system was created by the Gods.
* Some people worship levels instead of Gods. In some places leveling is preached and those with the highest level are even worshiped. Also, some speculate that each person has a maximum level , and when that level is reached, then they have also reached the end of their life.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2016/11/16/1-27/ Chapter 1.27]</ref>
* A person gets a better-than-average skill at Level 20.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/04/25/1-00-c/ Chapter 1.00 C]</ref>
* In [[Issrysil]], once a person gets past Level 30, they becomes approximately one of a thousand on the continent. Their skills become in such high demand that they earn'' ''much'' ''more money than anyone else. Anyone with a class that involves managing land or selling or buying goods can earn thousands of gold coins each month.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/04/22/2-16/ Chapter 2.16]</ref>
* Usually almost everyone reaches Level 20 before they die.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/04/25/2-17/ Chapter 2.17]</ref> An exception to the rule is the [Mage] class. People possessing that class ''rarely'' reach even Level 20, which is the result of a lack of a centralized education.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.wordpress.com/2017/01/04/1-34/ Chapter 1.34]</ref>
* Those that manage to reach Level 30 usually need decades to do so.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/05/01/1-03-d-2/ Chapter 1-03 C]</ref>
* In regards to the leveling speed, Selys once stated that if she had started training with the sword at a young age, she would have likely been now a Level 12 [Warrior]. However, if she were to start pursuing the path only now, when she is already 20-ish years old, it would probably take her 10 years to reach Level 20. That said, if she were a soldier fighting on the front lines, it would perhaps only take a year or two, which, of course, would be much more dangerous.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/04/12/2-10/ Chapter 2.10]</ref>
