The Redfang Elite Warriors refers to the band of the thirteen Goblin warriors of the Redfang Tribe sent by Garen to kill Erin. The group consisted of twelve Goblins led by a Hobgoblin.

Seven of them were killed defending Esthelm, while the rest became Hobgoblins. Six of the remaining Redfangs would ironically end up saving Erin. For a while they became bodyguards for her in The Wandering Inn before the group dissolved after the Siege of Liscor, with only three of them remaining alive.
Chronology
:This article intends to describe the actions of the Elite Warriors as a group, while their individual achievements are detailed in their respective articles.

Volumes 2 and 3
Garen believed that Erin's presence would impede Rags' progress to become a Goblin Lord, so he secretly sent a band of his elite warriors to kill her. They were an all-male group for the practical reason that mixing a female Warrior into the group could have distracted them and if the mission took too long (which it did) this could be the beginning of a new separate tribe. The band (12 Goblins and 1 Hobgoblin, each of them above level 10 in a combat class) got lost since none of them were particularly bright and none of them had a tracking class.

Some in the group ended up doubting the legitimacy of Garen's order, and weren't particularly keen in following it. After six days of roaming the landscape and looking for the [Innkeeper] girl, they had a debate and decided as a group that following Garen's orders without Rags' knowledge or permission was wrong. They decided to go back to their new tribe and tell Rags what Garen had told them to do. Not knowing where their tribe was, they turned towards Liscor but encountered one of the Goblin Lord's War Bands. They turned and fled to a partially destroyed Human City with the intent to lose their pursuers.

In Esthelm, they encountered an environment like they hadn't seen before: instead of a united Human force, the survivors of Rags' siege were splintered into infighting scavenger groups that behaved more or less like Goblins. The ruins proved ideal for the Redfang Warriors to find shelter and food, as they had no qualms about eating dead bodies. They ignored most of the Humans who didn't attack them. Grunter, their leader, intended to survive in Esthelm until it was safe to leave the place. In the meantime they would loot valuable equipment and food and also ambush the Goblin Lord's Vanguard Army when they came for the city. Before setting up their camp however, the Warrior group observed a strange girl who was clearly different from the other humans, as she ate raw human bodies. They rescued her when she was attacked by a skeleton with a sword, because Headscratcher supposed that the girl might be the Innkeeper they'd been tasked with killing.

The [Florist] girl who had turned into a monstrous Eater form, was still distraught by her fate: she had lost humanity and was renounced and chased by humans, but still longed to be a part of society. In this situation, she decided to follow the "monsters" who rescued her, so the Redfang Warriors allowed her into their camp, feeding her their cooked, meaty soup and proving to her that they were actually somewhat civilized. They had organized guards, a cooking camp, bedrolls, and (albeit rough) table manners - all of which the monster girl had lost. Even so, communication was possible and they all found some basic understanding.

While the Redfang Goblins were somewhat bewildered by that weird Human girl, they even let her follow them around the next day, and she regained some of her mental faculties. The group encountered the Goblin Lord's Army goblins, as well as Toren again, and also the Gold-Rank adventurer Ylawes Byres who easily bested them and grievously wounded Grunter. The [Florist] saved his life by distracting Ylawes, and then helped the goblins with her medical knowledge: splinting Grunter's arm and removing the bad parasite infestations from Headscratcher and Bugear.

When the Goblin Lord's Army started to storm the (by now organized) palisades of Esthelm, the [Florist] pleaded with them and led them into a battle against the overwhelming goblin and undead forces. In this battle, the Florist was shot down by a Human arrow and later stabbed to death by Toren. Enraged, the Redfang Elite Warriors selectively took down the Goblin [Commander], the two remaining Goblin [Shamans], and finally Toren, thus unravelling the goblin siege of Esthelm by taking out all leadership. They took heavy casualties doing this, though. Of the thirteen goblins at the start, only six survived the battle. Ylawes Byres recognized their efforts and let them go free after they had grieved together for the Florist girl.
todo

Strengths and Weaknesses
Each member of the group had over ten levels in a combat-oriented class. All of them wore armor and carried swords that were neither rusty nor broken.

They were veteran warriors. From their levels alone, they were each a match for any Bronze-rank adventurer. But in terms of experience, they were vastly more competent than any greenhorn with a sword. With a Hobgoblin at their head, the Goblins were more than a match for any unprepared Silver-rank team.

The following five were their best fighters: Badarrow, Headscratcher, Grunter, Bugear, and Rocksoup. The following two were their best trackers: Badarrow and Numbtongue - but since none of them have any tracking classes, they were really mediocre trackers at best before fighting in Esthelm. Especially in descriptions of Volume 2, it was said that none of them were exactly bright, even by goblin standards.

Among the last 5, Rabbiteater was the only one with [Dangersense].
The group (while their ties would still be strong to each other) was effectively dissolved during the Siege of Liscor: Badarrow and Rabbiteater followed Rags into the mountains and later split up to pursue different tasks, while Numbtongue was revived and brought back to the Wandering Inn.
* Headscratcher
* Shorthilt

Trivia
* Since none of them had an actual given name, they called each other by nicknames - these eventually turned into their regular names when Erin called them by them.
* They know each other so well, that their ability to read deeply into each other’s body language and feelings, almost bordered on the telepathic.
Serafierre val Lischelle-Drakle, more commonly known as Fierre, is a Vampire and a member of the Drakle Family.

Appearance
Fierre is shorter than Ryoka (by a good bit) and slimmer. She is wrapped up in layers of dark clothing, which also cover her hands, and even wears beneath them a hat on top of her black hair.

Being a Vampire, Fierre has pale skin, red eyes, and sharp teeth. Although she is already in her mid twenties.

Personality
While initially seeming standoffish, Fierre is a friendly young woman eager to prove herself. While proud of her Vampire heritage, she is terrified at the thought of being discovered and killed for who she is, which is why she tends to close herself off to most people, though this somewhat changed after meeting Ryoka. She's willing to help her friends, even at personal risk.

Fierre is a competent Broker and is adept at networking.

Background
Despite the fact Fierre doesn't really age due to being a vampire, she chose to appear younger when she first came to Reizmelt and over the years slowly made herself grow older to avoid suspicion.

Chronology
Upon meeting Fierre, Ryoka Griffin figured out that Fierre was a vampire because she was pale, stayed out of the sunlight, ate bloody meat, and ground poisons without ill effects. She asked what it was like to be a vampire, which frightened Fierre and made her kidnap Ryoka. She brought Ryoka to her family’s farm/castle.

There, Ryoka met Fierre’s family. Calfa, Fierre’s mother, acted like a stereotypical Transylvanian vampire. She tried to charm Ryoka using her gaze, but because of Ryoka’s experiences breaking a geas spell and fighting off Lady Magnolia’s aura, she was able to resist. Fierre’s family figured out that Ryoka wasn’t a danger to them, but Himilt, Fierre’s father, warned Ryoka not to put his daughter in danger our he would find her and kill her. After this, the two began to grow closer.

When Ryoka returned to Riverfarm to help because Laken Godart asked her to, she asked Fierre to look up the different witches who had shown up. Fierre discovered that the contact she had been communicating with had been found with his tongue sewn to the top of his mouth and he suffocated to death. She figured out that Belavierre had a huge outstanding warrant. The Order of the Seasons sent out a missive promising a huge gold reward on information for Balavierre’s whereabouts. Fierre decided to do nothing because she heard that several other people had been found dead related to Belavierr.

One night, while trying to figure things out, she wrote Belavierre’s name down on a piece of paper, activating a curse that animated every needle in Reizmelt to kill her. She survived the attack because of her vampire heritage and because none of the needles was silver. Furious, she contacted the Order of the Seasons and told them Belavierr was in Riverfarm. She received the bounty and used it to further her secret broker business.

After Ryoka returned from Riverfarm, she joined Ryoka on a delivery to wake the archmage of Izril. Ryoka had gotten a panacea cure from Teriarch at their last meeting, which she gave to Fierre. This cured Fierre of The Malady that effects vampire, but it made her much more vulnerable to garlic and sunlight. Sunlight now burned her immediately, even when it was cloudy, and garlic caused immense pain.

On the Archmage of Izril’s island, Fierre was instrumental in overcoming some of the traps. She stepped on a magical land mine, and was able to rush Ryoka to safety just in time. The mirror room didn’t create a doppelgänger of her because she had no reflection. Unlike Ryoka, she didn’t succumb to the sleeping gas and helped to fight off golems and shadow familiars while Ryoka was unconscious. Upon entering the trap that caused insanity, she became insane and attacked Ryoka, who was able to fight off the effects of the insanity spell. She was taken by the shadow familiars and thrown into a warded prison cell. They met the mage courier, Salamani, who had also been contracted to wake up the Archmage of Izril.

Ryoka used her wind magic to bring a bag of holding and sword to the cells of the cage. Salamani then used the sword to break the ward keeping them in. It’s revealed that, like Az-Kerash, the Archmage of Izril had used a skill to split her attention in 40 different parts. They took all of the things from previous people who had tried to wake the archmage and began to proceed through the mansion. Ryoka decided that it was too dangerous to keep going through the mansion when a hallway of [chain lightning] nearly killed them even with a barrier spell. They left the mansion without setting off any traps because the traps had been designed to active upon entering the room, not exiting it.

When they got outside, Ryoka had a plan. They began setting fire to the island, which set off so many warning alarms in the Archmage’s head that her split attention focused completely on Ryoka, Fierre, and Salamani, effectively waking her up. The Archmage was curious about Ryoka and Fierre because of their anomalies, but let them leave the island.

Upon returning to Reizmelt, Fierre became deathly sick when visiting her family home.
