Bird's new body is female, having requested the change after becoming curious to see if it would make her different. Described to be the most advanced Antinium since they arrived on Izril, Bird's second form has a yellow-green carapace with four bright green wings that unfolds from a pair of beetle-like elytra. Having a more humanoid, compact build, she is taller with long legs, and two arms. She has a pair of "breasts" on her chest, which serve as energy reserves. Unlike other Antinium, her neck and torso has more mobility, allowing her to shake her head or twist her waist. Her eyes are faintly purple and have the ability to cry. Her voice has also become distinctly feminine.
|}
Personality
Bird is considered "weird" even by the other Antinium. He is child-like in nature, being perptually cheerful and uncomplicated in his desires and wants. perfectly content with living at the inn. His defining trait is his obsession with birds. His favorite activity is hunting and eating them - especially when they're "mushy" (i.e. rotting and covered in maggots) - and possesses an encyclopedic knowledge on many different species. His archery ability is almost unparalleled, having shot down numerous Frost Wyverns by landing arrows in their eyes. He is excellent at mental calculations, being able to almost instantly solve complicated mathematical problems, and can instinctively calibrate his arrow shots for wind, distance, and movement.

While Bird is entirely straightforward - albeit with skewed priorities - he often fails to see or even consider the potential ramifications of his words and actions. For instance, he almost killed Halrac by shooting at him in a stand-off, assuming that Halrac wouldn't die because he was a Gold-rank adventurer and went into shock when he realized that he actually almost killed him. Another time, he bluffed to Pallass about being a Prognugator and declared war, almost kicking off the Third Antinium War. He is also unflappable in the face of danger, to the point of nonchalance. When fighting during the inn's numerous attacks, like Face-Eater Moths or Crelers, Bird has never shown fear. He has willingly risked his own life to save others, having ventured into Liscor's dungeon alone to try to find Mrsha, and "happily" stood in the path of a Creler about to attack Erin with nothing but a knife.

Background
Bird was one of the members of Erin Solstice's chess club who became Individual, the ability to think and act by themselves. He helped defend the inn from Skinner and undead, and was one of four survivors.

Chronology
Volume 1
Bird was a member of Erin's chess club that chose to name himself and guard her during the Attack of Skinner. Bird was severely injured during the attack, but he did survive. Out of over 30 Antinium that chose to defend her, only Bird and three others survived.<!-- This was written before the volume 1 rewrite. While details may change, the main facts will probably remain. Regardless, this may need to be updated to reflect any changes. -->

Volume 2
Bird and Pawn came back to help rebuild the inn after Skinner's attack. The two were in charge of the construction project and helped to coordinate other Antinium workers while taking breaks to play chess. Bird continued to accompany other Antinium at a later date when he acted as guardian/minder of the Antinium visiting the inn. It was also at this time that he was introduced to the second variety of Antinium-specific food the inn offered in the form of fried bees from a nearby hive.

Volume 3
Other Antinium Hives eventually connected their hives to Liscor's Free Hive and in doing so could meet with some of the important Individual Antinium, including Bird. It was at this point that Bird was noted for having superior archery skills. To hone these, he was allowed to venture out of the hive and hunt on a regular basis. Bird also showed a growing obsession with other birds around the time of this meeting.

Volume 4
Bird's obsession with birds was discussed further with Erin when she tried to figure out how he could love birds but also want to kill them. Bird was one of the first and only Antinium to show disobedience to the hive by stating that he occasionally ate the birds he shot instead of returning them directly to the hive. This discussion ended with Bird setting up a deal to provide birds to the inn that Erin could cook for him. Soon after this, though, Bird was hired on a more permanent basis to work as a guard for Erin's inn. This hiring and more common appearance in the inn did come with some problems, though. Other new hires at the time like Maran and Safry were very uncomfortable around Bird and Antinium in general. These hires did not last, but Bird stayed.

Erin's inn eventually needed to be expanded again, so she decided to build a tower for Bird to use along with a third floor where he would live. At the same time, she noticed that Bird's bow was fairly poorly made and bought a new recurve bow for him. She also set him up with archery lessons from Halrac at the same time. While the inn was being worked on, Bird became a permanent fixture of the inn spending most of his time on the third floor while the tower was being built and eventually preferred to spend as much time as possible either in his room or in the tower just above it. Bird came down from his tower at one point when the named adventurer Regrika Blackpaw was revealed as a fake identity for Az'kerash's minion Venitra. Realizing that he could not hurt her, Bird dumped a bucket of feces from the outhouse on Regrika to annoy her into chasing after him instead of any other person in the inn. Although he and the others did manage to chase Venitra away, people did die in the process and those deaths weighed on Bird.

Once the remaining Redfang Elite Warriors got near the inn, Bird decided to attack them reasoning that Erin's rule of "not killing goblins" didn't apply to hobgoblins. The goblins beat Bird, knocking him out though he was saved by Lyonette, Drassi, and Mrsha who found him in the snow. When Eater Goats attacked Erin, Bird and the goblins worked together to defend her.

Volume 5
The goblins ended up setting up a more permanent residence in the inn and were hired as supplementary guards. Bird was given a mission by the hive to keep an eye on them, but for the most part he spent his time guarding the inn and shooting birds. This daily life was interrupted when Face Eater Moths attacked Liscor and the inn. The amount of moths quickly overwhelmed Bird as they swarmed him heavily damaging his tower, and breaking his recurve bow as well as severely injuring him. Bird was saved by the inn inhabitants and he rejoined the fight using his original crude bow. For more information on the attack of the Face Eater Moths see its associated article. In the aftermath of the attack, Bird briefly had to stay in the basement of the inn though he did find ways to get back onto the roof even before the third floor and his tower was rebuilt.

At a later date Bird was called back to the free hive in order to provide proof of his contributions to the hive. This served to show his oddness compared to not just the other regular Antinium, but also the other former chess club members. When walking through the hive, Bird couldn't keep himself from singing and fidgeting which temporarily halted the entire procession around him. When he met up with the other individuals he was much less focused on doing "things of note" and benefiting the hive. Instead, he focused on birds. Regardless, the others were extremely jealous of him due to his fortress of fluff where he slept and due to the fact that he was being paid by Erin. They also noted his odd chess playstyle which focused entirely on trying to make pictures of birds regardless of victory or defeat. This playstyle would even allow him to occasionally win against Erin, a feat that few could achieve. Despite all of this, his immediate use to the hive was in doubt, so when he met with the queen, the others tried to protect him or guide him in what to say. Of course, Bird's mental immaturity was quickly spotted by the Free Queen. She moved to correct what she saw as a flaw by killing him, but on the verge of his death, Bird sang another song which is something no worker on Izril had ever done. The queen stopped killing him when she heard this and attempted to keep him there, but Bird again surprised her by refusing - this refusal included her offering to fix his mind. Bird was released back to the inn with a promise to return to sing to the queen again later, and he was also given enough gold coins to buy the best new bow he could.

On the night after Bird came back with his bow, he had a chance to use it when he signaled the alarm of Raskghar attacking the inn. With his shooting and alarm, the inn managed to repel the attack killing most of the Raskghar that came to the inn along with the cave goblins that came with. Bird continued to defend the inn from subsequent Raskghar attacks during the following nights. During one of these, he got into an accidental archery duel with Halrac, nearly killing him thinking that himself and Badarrow were trying to shoot Halrac for an unknown reason. Bird was confronted with this childish decision and had to deal with the consequences of his actions. During the chaos of the attack, Bird and everyone else in the inn missed Mrsha getting abducted. Bird saw this as another failure on his part and to resolve it, he ventured into the dungeon on his own to rescue her. Bird was found in the dungeon by other adventurers that had come down to save Mrsha and Ceria. Bird was surrounded by the corpses of moths and again very injured. Bird came back to the inn where he supported the adventurers in the dungeon. While he shot arrows, Erin used the magical door to retrieve Mrsha.

Once Mrsha was retrieved and things had settled down a bit, Bird finally got his chance to talk with Bevussa, the gold-rank adventurer that he'd seen earlier who looks like a bird. Despite a shaky start, Bevussa found out that Bird was only two years old and that his fascination with birds was innocent. She ended up trading him one of her feathers for four of the ones he'd brought. This became his most treasured possession.

Eventually, the Goblin Lord made his way to Liscor. Preceding him though was Greydath who had come to test promising goblins. He attacked the Redfang Elite Warriors, but Bird was able to provide support from his tower. Bird nearly to hit Greydath with a [Piercing Shot], which triggered the memory of Velan's death in Greydath and, in a fit of rage, the goblin threw his greatsword at the tower. This blew apart Bird's tower and tore through half of his body. On the verge of death, Bird was brought to the hive where his only chance of survival was to be brought directly to the queen. Even with the Free Queen personally overseeing Bird's safety, it wasn't until she got help from the other queens that he was stabilized. Once he was able to, Bird proceeded to cry despite not being able to produce tears. Bird recovering in the hive did have some good effects, though. While he couldn't leave he was able to keep the Free Queen company which gave Garry some free time in which he could go to the inn. Bird brought back his fortress of fluff to recover in while in the hive.

Volume 6
Bird continued to recover and sing in the Free Queen's care. While there she tested Bird and Garry for a second time and, when they failed, the true purpose of both tests was revealed. Bird learned that true Antinium had a fully telepathic connection with other Antinium that was lost when they lost so many resources crossing to Izril. The Antinium's true purpose in coming to Izril was also revealed in that they were meant to gain a foothold then return to Rhir shortly, but their capacity to do so was greatly hindered by the amount of losses they took on the way to Izril. That was when Bird revealed he could read the Queen's mind like a True Antinium by learning her mentor's name. So to gain any of that back, the Free Queen was very tempted to kill Bird to study what made him different. He was sent away to stop this temptation with the warning that when he did die, the Free Queen would take him apart instead of performing the Rite of Anastases on him.

Bird later appeared near the inn in the midst of a chaotic scene where members of Wistram had come to investigate Earthers as well as the whereabouts of Pisces and Ceria. Bird added to the chaos by shooting at the Wistram mages. He came with a new bow as well. Bird returned to an inn still without its tower, so he built his own makeshift one. Once the tower was finished once more, Bird used it to help fight against a creler attack that came from the magical door into the inn. He sent out an alarm as the inn was overrun. This time his alarm reached other workers and soldiers from the hive. Bird was saved, but once again the inn and his tower were destroyed.
Blackmage switches from Centrists to Revivalists.

Synopsis
Blackmage narrates about his arrival at Wistram. He’s being personally tutored by half-elf Archmage Feor, earning some resentment for this favour shown to him. He’s tasked with and fails so far to identify any Earthers among the newly arrived students.

At the banquet he’s party to discussions about ‘movies’ and questioned about Earth. He’s aware of the different factions and how his patron and his centrists have power over him. He joins the other student and contacts secret brokers Beatrice and Montressa to organise a a distraction. He uses that to slip Feor’s leash and discover a major lost laboratory. Montressa, having secretly followed, leverages his lack of ability to secure and make use of the lab in conjunction with her connections to move Blackmage and the secret laboratory’s knowledge to their faction instead.

The revivalists are lead by Archmage Nailihuaile, a lamia. The next day she discusses their new position as Blackmage’s patron with him. A boat arrives with new students, but also many Earthers aboard, latter in particular welcomed by the revivalist faction.

Feor considers how to proceed, revealing access to sources such as Falene and Typhenous, and that he’ll send teams out with certain tasks, among them being one for Liscor to retrieve a certain magical door.

Calvaron is a Centaur and a student at Wistram Academy.

Appearance
He wears a shirt on his chest.

Personality
Calvaron is a genial and friendly Centaur. He welcomed a group of prospective students on their first day in Wistram and provided advice and information to Ceria and Pisces, while they were settling in as new Wistram students.

As a secrets broker, he is enterprising and mercenary. He is only willing to part with a few free, minor secrets to Pisces and Ceria despite being friends with them. Although, he did became apologetic after angering Ceria when he hinted at the secrets of Ceria's criminal origins.

Background
Calvaron is an older student as well as a secrets broker at Wistram Academy. That is, he trades secrets as a middleman for others.

Chronology
Calvaron was killed by rampaging undead after Pisces triggered a trap in Nekhret's tomb.

Powers and Abilities
Calvaron has very few classes.

Skills:
Spells:
Trivia
*He has many secrets to barter with, including those he didn't know himself, such as those written on self-erasing parchment or messages kept in bottles.
*He is not important enough for the other factions to recruit him.
*Calvaron appears to have been romantically involved with Beatrice, considering the way they flirted. Calvaron did it openly, Beatrice with deadpan remarks that might be serious or a joke; one could never tell which.

Quotes
*(To Ceria) “Your hair looks like a tangled spiderweb, Springwalker! Did you get a bit of rest after all the magic practice this morning?”
*(To Ceria) “Mons and Beatrice try, but no one has your sharp tongue—or penchant for kicking and throwing things at people. I keep telling them, only you can kick like a real Centaur.”
They all had red tattoos that marked their identity. Other Redfang members are able to recognize and tell them apart with ease. These markings occasionally need to be renewed, but otherwise remain unchanged.
Chronology
:This article intends to describe the actions of the Elite Warriors as a group, while their individual achievements are detailed in their respective articles.

Volumes 2 and 3
Garen believed that Erin's presence would impede Rags' progress to become a Goblin Lord, so he secretly sent a band of his elite warriors to kill her. They were an all-male group for the practical reason that mixing a female Warrior into the group could have distracted them and if the mission took too long (which it did) this could be the beginning of a new separate tribe. The band (12 Goblins and 1 Hobgoblin, each of them above level 10 in a combat class) got lost since none of them were particularly bright and none of them had a tracking class.

Some in the group ended up doubting the legitimacy of Garen's order, and weren't particularly keen in following it. After six days of roaming the landscape and looking for the [Innkeeper] girl, they had a debate and decided as a group that following Garen's orders without Rags' knowledge or permission was wrong. They decided to go back to their new tribe and tell Rags what Garen had told them to do. Not knowing where their tribe was, they turned towards Liscor but encountered one of the Goblin Lord's War Bands. They turned and fled to a partially destroyed Human City with the intent to lose their pursuers.

In Esthelm, they encountered an environment like they hadn't seen before: instead of a united Human force, the survivors of Rags' siege were splintered into infighting scavenger groups that behaved more or less like Goblins. The ruins proved ideal for the Redfang Warriors to find shelter and food, as they had no qualms about eating dead bodies. They ignored most of the Humans who didn't attack them. Grunter, their leader, intended to survive in Esthelm until it was safe to leave the place. In the meantime they would loot valuable equipment and food and also ambush the Goblin Lord's Vanguard Army when they came for the city. Before setting up their camp however, the Warrior group observed a strange girl who was clearly different from the other humans, as she ate raw human bodies. They rescued her when she was attacked by a skeleton with a sword, because Headscratcher supposed that the girl might be the Innkeeper they'd been tasked with killing.

The [Florist] girl who had turned into a monstrous Eater form, was still distraught by her fate: she had lost humanity and was renounced and chased by humans, but still longed to be a part of society. In this situation, she decided to follow the "monsters" who rescued her, so the Redfang Warriors allowed her into their camp, feeding her their cooked, meaty soup and proving to her that they were actually somewhat civilized. They had organized guards, a cooking camp, bedrolls, and (albeit rough) table manners - all of which the monster girl had lost. Even so, communication was possible and they all found some basic understanding.

While the Redfang Goblins were somewhat bewildered by that weird Human girl, they even let her follow them around the next day, and she regained some of her mental faculties. The group encountered the Goblin Lord's Army goblins, as well as Toren again, and also the Gold-Rank adventurer Ylawes Byres who easily bested them and grievously wounded Grunter. The [Florist] saved his life by distracting Ylawes, and then helped the goblins with her medical knowledge: splinting Grunter's arm and removing the bad parasite infestations from Headscratcher and Bugear.

When the Goblin Lord's Army started to storm the (by now organized) palisades of Esthelm, the [Florist] pleaded with them and led them into a battle against the overwhelming goblin and undead forces. In this battle, the Florist was shot down by a Human arrow and later stabbed to death by Toren. Enraged, the Redfang Elite Warriors selectively took down the Goblin [Commander], the two remaining Goblin [Shamans], and finally Toren, thus unravelling the goblin siege of Esthelm by taking out all leadership. They took heavy casualties doing this, though. Of the thirteen goblins at the start, only six survived the battle. Ylawes Byres recognized their efforts and let them go free after they had grieved together for the Florist girl.

Volumes 4 and 5
todo

Strengths and Weaknesses
Each member of the group had over ten levels in a combat-oriented class. All of them wore armor and carried swords that were neither rusty nor broken.

They were veteran warriors. From their levels alone, they were each a match for any Bronze-rank adventurer. But in terms of experience, they were vastly more competent than any greenhorn with a sword. With a Hobgoblin at their head, the Goblins were more than a match for any unprepared Silver-rank team.

The following five were their best fighters: Badarrow, Headscratcher, Grunter, Bugear, and Rocksoup. The following two were their best trackers: Badarrow and Numbtongue - but since none of them have any tracking classes, they were really mediocre trackers at best before fighting in Esthelm. Especially in descriptions of Volume 2, it was said that none of them were exactly bright, even by goblin standards.

Among the last 5, Rabbiteater was the only one with [Dangersense].

Equipment
Most of their equipment was acquired while at Erin's inn.

Magical Artifacts
* Cloak of Plenty: Owned by Rabbiteater
* Enchanted Golden Axe with the Green Edge: Owned by Rabbiteater. (Formerly owned by Headscratcher)
* Bell of Agony: Owned by Badarrow.
* Cursed Necklace that has a stone darker than obsidian with something carved on it, held on a long chain of glowing silver metal

Weapons
* 5 Steel Swords: 1 for each.
* Recurve Bow: Owned by Badarrow
* Dragonblood Crystal Sword: Owned by Numbtongue.

Members
The group (while their ties would still be strong to each other) was effectively dissolved during the Siege of Liscor: Badarrow and Rabbiteater followed Rags into the mountains and later split up to pursue different tasks, while Numbtongue was revived and brought back to the Wandering Inn.

Surviving Members
* Badarrow
* Rabbiteater
* Numbtongue

Deceased Members
In order of death, starting by the earliest:
* Grunter - Leader, killed by a goblin from the goblin lord raiding party in the second battle of Esthelm
* Rocksoup, killed by a zombie during the second battle of Esthelm
* Leftstep, killed during the second battle of Esthelm
* Orangepoo, killed by goblins from the raiding party during the second battle of Esthelm
* Bitefly, killed by a ghoul during the second battle of Esthelm
* Patchhelm, killed by Toren during the second battle of Esthelm
* Justrust, killed during the second battle of Esthelm
* Bugear, killed during the second battle of Esthelm
* Headscratcher
* Shorthilt

Trivia
* Since none of them had an actual given name, they called each other by nicknames - these eventually turned into their regular names when Erin called them by them.
* They know each other so well, that their ability to read deeply into each other’s body language and feelings, almost bordered on the telepathic.
Welca was one of forty Rose Knights that Bethal and her husband, brought to dispose of the Flooded Waters Tribe. Soon after the fight began, she started focusing on Pyrite. Meanwhile, a vast number of Goblins attacked her, though to no avail; none could damage the armor each Rose Knight wears. Even Pyrite's strongest Skill, [Power Strike], which allowed him once with his axe to cleave through a warhorse’s armor and spine with one blow, was ineffective, though it made Welca stumble. Fortunately, he decided to move the fight to the water and ran to the nearby lake. There, Welca's movements were restricted, allowing Pyrite to grapple her with his superior strength and push her head under water, resulting in her losing consciousness.
Zel Shivertail, also known as the Tidebreaker, is one of the best defensive generals on Izril, and the hero of two Antinium Wars.

Appearance
Zel has a huge, muscular body (though he isn't as thickly built as Relc) with green scales that are tinted a bit grey.

He has an aura that projects something solid that makes him hard to ignore, or forget.

Personality
Zel Shivertail is a seasoned military leader and largely considered to be the greatest Drake [General] of his time. On the battlefield, he is a great fighter, leader and tactician. Despite his reputation, Zel is warm and friendly in person. He doesn't display typical Drake prejudices against other species, though he possesses a dislike of Goblins and Antinium. Despite that, he was willing to give advice to Pawn and Belgrade. While he is estranged from most of his family, he is close with Tekshia and Selys, despite not seeing them often. Despite his fame, or rather because of it, Zel does not enjoy being the center of attention, preferring to be around non-Drakes as they usually don't know who he is. However, he still feels the need to be the symbol for the Drakes.

Background
Zel Shivertail is a hero of the commonfolk living in the Walled Cities. Originally a level 15 [Lieutenant], he surprised the continent by surviving when the city of Geir was overrun by the Antinium during the First Antinium War. He and three hundred warriors and civilians fled into the city dungeon where they held out and grew stronger by constantly leveling up. Eventually they were strong enough to push the Antinium out of the dungeon and escape. As their leader, Zel cemented his rank as a hero — a commoner born from nothing, yet achieving what no-one else had done.

In the process, he became one of the most renowned [Generals] on the continent. Even Niers Astoragon thought of him in praise. He became a Level 39 [General] after his battles; one of the most incredible growths ever recorded in known history. Shivertail became hailed as ‘Tidebreaker’, in reference to the Black Tide’s failure to overwhelm his army time and time again. Zel killed two Centenium that Klbkch considered to be friends (Rehab and Mellika). He entered a romantic relationship with General Sserys before his death in the last battle of the First Antinium War.

During the Second Antinium War, he abandoned his battles against the Antinium to bring aid to Liscor with three other generals during the Necromancer's Siege of Liscor. Az'kerash quickly killed the other generals, leaving him as the only military leader left to fight back against the Necromancer. But he lacked the offensive strategies to launch a decisive strike against the Necromancer, though his defensive prowess also prevented the Necromancer from killing him, leaving the siege at a stalemate for three months.

The Antinium's reinforcements gave Zel the opening to attack Az'kerash. Zel tore the Necromancer in half, causing the undead army to crumble without their master and leading the world to believe Az'kerash was dead. After the battle, he and Klbkch attacked each other, and had to be separated.

Zel was being groomed to someday replace Sserys in leading the Drake forces against the Antinium, and had the support of Grand Strategist Chaldion and Dragonspeaker Luciva behind him. However when he revealed his homosexuality and refused to disavow it, he was abandoned by the Walled Cities. He would lead armies for smaller Drake cities from that point on.

Chronology
In the year of Erin's arrival, Zel was the [General] for the Trisstral Alliance in their dispute with Salazsar. He won the war decisively and captured Wall Lord Ilvriss Gemscale after overrunning his forces.

He was then surprised by the emerging Goblin Lord and retreated to Liscor where he stayed for a while, before being hired by Magnolia Reinhart to fight the Goblin Lord near Invrisil. He thus was the first Drake [General] to go north past Liscor to Esthelm, and then further north, since the last Antinium War. In the Battle near Invrisil, he lead Magnolia's coalition of human forces. There, Zel succumbed to a surprise attack by Az'kerash and his Chosen.

His death caused a shock in the Drake communities all over Izril. One of his last possessions was the Heartflame Breastplate, that was inherited by his niece Selys.

Selys secretly buries his ashes with Sserys, in accordance to Zel's will.

Powers and Abilities
Zel's personal abilities gave him the strength equivalent to a Named Adventurer. He possessed razor-sharp claws, capable of cutting through even the carapaces of Antinium Soldiers.

As a defensive [General], he was not suited for offense, but for defending to hold the line. Occasionally he could charge into the enemy and redefine the line, but he was best suited defending.
The Knights of the Petal, also known as Rose Knights and Order of the Petal, are Lady Bethal's personal order of warriors.

Background
All members of the order wear red-pink armor, hence the name Rose Knights.

The Knights of the Petal take any insult against their [Lady] or their order to heart. They’ve thrashed officers who’ve laughed at them and they’ll break bones if anyone insults Lady Bethal.
Military Strength
The Knights of Petals seems to consist of a bit over 80 [Knights] or a variation, such as [Magic Knights]—one of which was capable of casting [Grand Fireball]. All are high leveled individuals, powerful enough to kill numerous Hobs.
It is said that their armor is all custom-made Dwarf work and is enchanted by Wistram mages. They’re nigh-invincible against mundane arms and they all have magical weapons.
* Red-pink enchanted armor that remains undamaged even when Hobs attack it with full strength, or when hit by lightning spells.
Chronology
At the request of Magnolia Reinhart, the knights attacked the Flooded Waters Tribe during the hunt for the Goblin Lord. Their first surprise attack was repulsed when Greydath engages the knights. Rags then prepared fortifications in time for the second attack, and two of the knights were buried under felled trees. Upon seeing that the battle may not be easy, Bethal called off the attack, angering Magnolia. The two buried knights were likely Welca Caveis and Kerrig Louis. ==== Volume 5 ====

Nawalishifra represented her clan at the Jerios Bazaar alongside her brother, trying to sell Naq-Alrama Steel. Because the only other [Blacksmith] in the clan capable of forging weapons with the steel had recently died, and few locals would be willing to purchase woman-made weapons, they sought buyers for the steel ingots instead.

Without her knowledge, Allaif reached a deal to sell his sister as a slave alongside their inventory of ingots. When Allaif and the [Slaver] showed up, Nawalishifra killed her brother and invalidated the contract. A disguised Gazi threatened the [Slaver] and prevented a violent confrontation.

Trey and Gazi suggested to Nawalishifra that their master would be willing to buy weapons forged by a woman. When Nawalishifra realized that this master was Flos Reimarch, she passed out.
Personality
Background
Chronology
Volume 5
Nawalishifra and her brother represented her clan at the Jerios Bazaar alongside her brother, trying to sell Naq-Alrama Steel.

When the King of Destruction sent Maresar to collect the Naq-Alrama blade from the palace to defeat the Djinni, Clan Tannousin went into hiding and Nawal alone presented Maresar with the runied Naq-Alrama ingot.

After the Djinni attack, Nawal refused to talk with anyone like Teresa, and spent all her time by the anvil, swinging her hammer and making superlative blades of steel, even if her hands turned raw and bloody.
