The war lasted long enough for Zelkyr and Perril to claim the titles of Archmage, over twenty years. Zelkyr would then upgrade Cognita into his first Truestone Golem. Both Archmages would engage the Nagas. The Naga [Archmage], the Archmage of Waters, fought on the side of the Nagas at the time, but was slain by Cognita.

The war ended in Drake victory, as the Lizardfolk were driven off of the continent and back to Baleros.<ref name=":0" />
