			Torthe was captured by Wrymvr when he took the ship she was on and she chose to hide rather than flee. She was instructed to teach Anand how to build ships and was promised gold and jewels to take with her upon her release. She built a rapport with Anand, telling hime stories of other continents and teaching him how to gamble.

			When [[Klbkch]]'s swords were stolen and [[Vetn\|the]] [[Bviora Stormless\|thieves]] demanded an [[Eyes of Baleros (Relics)\|Eye of Baleros]] for ransom, Anand asked her about the relic to determine if it was in their possession. To her horror, they did.<ref name=":0" />
