Erin finds a fruit-bearing trees while narrowly escaping a giant crab. Dragon POV of the previous night and the consequences for him.
Erin moves restlessly around the room before tripping and falling asleep on the floor. She is starving, tired, and confused. Upon waking, she ventured outside to search for food, discovering an otherworldly landscape. Driven by hunger, she walked towards a distant grove of peculiar fruit-bearing trees while narrowly escaping an encounter with a giant crab. Still exhausted but determined, she reaches the trees but struggles to get the fruit. In frustration, she kicked the tree, causing one fruit to fall. She stared at it, anticipating something, but nothing happened.
ย
The night before, a Dragon woke with a scream, startled by a young woman who bypassed his protective spells. Panicking, he accidentally exhaled a small flame and teleported to a new hideout. After two weeks of fortifying and searching for signs of pursuit without success, he considered the encounter accidental but remained cautious. As a silver lining, the disruption allowed him to tend to housekeep and make arrangements with a nearby city. Eventually, the exhausted Dragon fell asleep once more.
