Erin Summer Solstice,[1] is the main protagonist of The Wandering Inn. She is the [Innkeeper] of The Wandering Inn in Liscor and a grandmaster-level chess player. She first wandered into this world on her way to the bathroom and has been stuck ever since.
Appearance edit edit source
Erin has fair skin, hazel eyes and light brown hair with the slightest orange tint.[2] While initially she had short hair, it grew longer, to the point where she can tie it at the back of her head.[3] She would eventually get her hair cut,[4] but it would still be longer than the start.[5]She is 5'4.[6]
She usually wears a custom-ordered variation of a t-shirt and pants,[7]and a worker's apron, which has become somewhat iconic to her. In Volume 9 she wore "some wonderfully matte, dyed black pants made out of a thin [Wyvern] leather layer and cotton composite", along with a Silverfang shirt made from a fairly light green cotton with silver hemming and Liscor’s logo of a city over water.[8] She also owns pyjamas with big, silver wolves chasing each other over a dark blue background, that were given to her by the Silverfang Tribe in thanks for the ghost of General Sserys’ actions at the Meeting of Tribes.[9]

Her eyes are capable of lighting up with the flames of [Like Fire, Memory] Skill, such as the flames of pink glory in one eye and green honor in the other. Upon discovering her [Witch]'s craft, Erin manifests a pointed magical flaming witch hat made of the emotional flames of [Like Fire, Memory] fire. While normally invisible to others, her [Witch]'s hat is always burning on her head with multiple multicolor flames, or a single flame corresponding to the strongest emotion she is currently feeling.
When escaping Roshal's clutches after making a pact with Visophecin, Erin used her fire to melt the shackles on her neck and wrists, leaving burns on them. After the Night of Bloodtear, Erin was shrunken down to six inches by the Death of Magic to save her life from the Blighted Kingdom's wrath. She lost the top of her right ear, the skin on her wrist is discolored where she was shackled,[10] and her hair turned white and wispy, with chunks having fallen out on the left side of her scalp.[11] While visiting the Fraerling city of Lemoste-Under-Cliff, she shaved the left side of her head, styled as an undercut. With the Fraerlings’ help, Erin Solstice designed a biker outfit inspired by Theillige: a bright red motorcycle helmet with a black pane covering her face, leather leggings, and a black leather jacket marked with a queen chess piece, brass-studs, and a series of custom patches along the left side.[12][13] While visiting the Fraerling city of Lemoste-Under-Cliff, she shaved the left side of her head, styled as an undercut. Personality edit edit source
The Goblins looked at their leader, still noisily being sick in the grass. They looked back at the Destroyer, slayer of the skin monster, provider of pasta and free drinks. They backed up quickly.
The Flooded Waters Tribe's perspective of Erin Solstice[16]
Erin has a warm-hearted and enthusiastic nature. She is always friendly towards others though she has a tendency to act cheeky and immature, especially around authority figures. Erin is stubborn and very hard headed to the point that she threw a table at a child for not knowing what Hollywood was. Erin has a strong moral compass and will not hesitate to fight back if she or her friends are threatened, even confronting an entire army by herself. She is always willing to stand up for what is right regardless of the consequences, and goes above and beyond to help those in need. She has stubbornly insisted on maintaining that Goblins are people, and has banned guests and friends from her inn if she believes they are behaving "like jerks". Due to her actions, she is considered insane by many people (including all of her friends and guests), thus earning her the moniker "The Crazy Human Innkeeper of Liscor." A passionate chess player, Erin lives and breathes the game, memorizing strategies and often neglecting her duties in favor of playing.
While she can be naïve about certain subject matters, Erin is very clever and possesses keen insight. She was the first to realize that the Raskghar could maintain their intelligence during the day.[17] However, she can be airheaded and doesn't think things through, seen when she sent a personal [Message] containing several insults to the King of Destruction which ended up being read out live on the scrying network.[18] A natural leader, Erin is talented at manipulating people and events, usually through a chain reaction of nudging people she knows into helping others.
While a terrible liar, she is excellent at deflection. On numerous occasions, she has successfully avoided confrontations about her background, usually distracting with over-the-top antics. She has a habit of acting dumb and oblivious to get people to underestimate her, though it leads to people believing she actually is stupid.
Despite her sociability and amiability with others, Erin is an introvert, and dislikes being the centre of attention in formal or social events. She is also extremely prudish and judgmental while discussing topics relating to sex and romance. While she is open to the idea of romance, she finds it difficult to connect with anyone romantically and has rejected several suitors, including Olesm, Palt and Earl Altestiel. Erin is very politically correct, and goes to great pains to enforce equal rights within the territory of her inn. While an advocate for LGBTQ rights, she is somewhat unfamiliar with certain nuances of it, being unfamiliar with what the "Q" stands for.[19] Erin distrusts narcotics and bans them from her inn.
Background edit edit source
Erin was born on the 21st of June, 1996, which was the day of the Summer Solstice that year. Due to her family surname being 'Solstice', her parents claimed that her birth was a sign, and gave her the middle name 'Summer.'[20] She lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan.[21]
Erin was a child prodigy at chess, reaching an ELO of 2000 as a kid. She went to many tournaments, studied and played chess late into the night.[22] She won many local tournaments and also was invited to some big ones where she never won first place. She only came close once in Havana.[23] She once played a female Grandmaster, but lost because of her excitement.[24] She travelled to tournaments all around the world at a young age, casually learning local customs and languages (among them Spanish, French, Dutch and Japanese at the very least) there but doesn't speak any of them fluently aside from a few words. She also failed her French classes.[25]
When Erin was younger, she dreamed of being an astronaut. Then, when she’d been slightly older she’d wanted to be a legendary chess player, someone who could beat even a computer in chess. And then she’d wanted to be a chess commentator, someone with a huge following or even a YouTube channel.[26] At some point during her youth, she became fed up with chess, rebelled and and left the game for a few years. She later returned to chess, though as a casual player. Erin once calculated that she could have had a 2400 ELO if she had kept playing constantly. She later didn’t enroll in college, preferring to work as a chess tutor and tournament contender to save up money before going on to study.[27]
Erin had a close relationship with her loving parents. She had a boyfriend,[28] but the relationships never progressed to the point of her losing her virginity.[29] She once had an online relationship with mysterio_Gamer12, whom she met during online chess games. She had been certain he was a handsome guy until it transpired during an awkward Skype conversation, that mysterio was a Polish girl who thought Erin was a guy.[30]

| When Erin was going around a corner in her home in Michigan intending to enter the bathroom, she suddenly found herself face to face with a Dragon in a cave. After running from the Dragon and some Goblins who chased her, Erin found an abandoned Inn and became an [Innkeeper]. She spent the next few days surviving monster attacks and fending off Goblins, before getting her first customers.[31] to [[32] For a while, Erin only got the same three customers — Relc, Klbkch, and Pisces — the former two being Senior Guardsman from the local city of Liscor, and the latter being a wandering Necromancer.[33]At one point, Erin killed a Goblin Chieftain that nearly raped and killed her. She then befriended and served some Goblins and Antinium, teaching them chess in the process.[34]
After finding her Inn ransacked by a mysterious robber, Erin searched for some bodyguards to protect her and her Inn. Unable to afford guards, Pisces, who hasn’t paid for most of his meals, then gave Erin a skeleton to be her bodyguard as a form of payment. The skeleton, who was later named Toren, became Erin’s first employee and helped her gather and serve food and drinks to Goblins and Antinium.[39] After the discovery of a crypt a few miles away from Liscor, adventurers began flocking to the city. Erin, who had only had a skeleton, Goblins, and Antinium, in her Inn for a while, needed to protect herself and her guests from the visiting Human Adventurers.[40] Eventually, an adventuring group called the Horns of Hammerad stopped by her Inn and became the first customers to rent a room. When Klbkch’s successor, Ksmvr, maimed Pawn, Erin used [Immortal Moment] to sing and make her songs come to life.[41] The leader of the Silver Ranked team, the Minotaur named Calruz, tought Erin and Toren how to fight after seeing Erin fail to protect Pawn. Erin learned [Power Strike] in a day, and was told that she is talented.[42] When the expedition by the Horns and several other Silver- ranked teams failed, inadvertently unleashing Skinner and thousands of undead, Erin’s Inn was attacked . The Antinium Chess Club, led by Knight, rushed to Erin’s Inn to help protect her.[43] Erin, Toren, and the individuals managed to fend off the Undead for a while, but were eventually overwhelmed when Skinner himself comes. Erin, who fell under the effects of Skinner’s [Terror] spell, was unable to fight, and Knight was killed. After Knight’s death Erin used [Immortal Moment] and played chess against herself for an eternity. She played for what felt like years, until living became fear, and fear became living. When Erin stopped playing, she still felt fear from Skinner’s spell, but she was used to the fear and thus able to fight back.Using up all of her acid jars, Erin was eventually forced out of her Inn in a desperate charge against Skinner. Erin, Toren, and the remaining Individuals, managed to badly wound Skinner, forcing it to shed its protective shell of dead skin. However, this gave Skinner the speed and mobility it didn’t have before, and almost killed Erin.Erin was saved by Klbkch, who was revived by the Rite of Anastases and saved Erin just in time, forcing Skinner to realize it was outmatched and retreat. Rags and her tribe chased the monster down and finished it off, forcing the undead to retreat, thus ending the attack on Liscor. The next day, Erin wept for the dead.[44] |

| Erin is entering the bathroom at her home when she is suddenly transported to Innworld by the Blighted Kingdom's [Hero]-summoning ritual.[45] Finding herself in front of a Dragon in a cave, she is indirectly burned by its flame breath before running out in a panic. Realizing she wasn't home anymore, Erin starts screaming and calling for help, only to attract the attention of nearby Goblins that start attacking her. She escapes, running through the Floodplains, before coming across an abandoned inn. Entering the inn and finding it filthy, Erin looks for a dustrag and cleans the place up a bit. Just when she is about to fall asleep, she obtains the [Innkeeper] class much to her confusion.[46] The next day, Erin finally admits that she is in another world when she steps outside and saw the too vast sky filled with giant clouds, too big than Earth's. Seeing trees filled with blue fruit in the distance, she walks towards them to forage some food. While walking past a large boulder, it suddenly rises, revealing a crab-monster underneath. Filled with terror, Erin sprints away, narrowly being caught by the Rock Crab, which soon gives up pursuit.[47] Erin picks and eats several blue fruit, finding them delicious. When she gently squeezes its seed core, the shell splits its foul-smelling innards all over herself. Initially disgusted, it gives her the idea to throw seed cores at the Rock Crab, causing it to panic and flee. When returning to the orchard of blue fruit trees, she ran into another group of Goblins that chased her back to the inn. Despite barricading the door, seven Goblins broke in through the windows. However, she fought them off using a chair as a make-shift weapon, taking out several in a matter of seconds, and the rest soon flee after she picks up a knife and threatens them. She gained two levels in her [Innkeeper] class.[48]
The next day, Erin sweeps the inn's floor, finishing quickly thanks to her [Basic Cleaning] Skill. Dehydrated, she goes to a nearby stream, but becomes sick from drinking too much water. After throwing up a bit, she bathes in the stream, only to be attacked by a giant flat fish with teeth. After killing it, she tries to cook it, but accidentally sliced her palm with her knife when trying to eat it. After clumsily bandaging her wound, Erin tried to sleep but in pain, she distracted herself by running mental games of chess.[49] The following day, she looks in the kitchen for a tool or implement to tear away the bandage stuck to her skin. To her astonishment, she discovers fresh food in the pantries, preserved by magical runes in the edge of the cupboards. Unfortunately, she accidentally damages the runes, thus disabling the preservation magic. Later, Erin went upstairs to explore, but discovers that a skeleton she had saw earlier had disappeared. Unnerved, she is sitting in the common room, trying to rationalize the skeleton's disappearance when she overhears someone creeping around upstairs. Armed with her knife and prepared to run, Erin lies to waits as the person descends down the stairs. Revealing to be "only a Goblin, Erin beats it up and throws him outside.[50] The next day, after starting a fire, Erin cooks the leftover ingredients in the cupboards. Rustling up a plate of pasta and blue fruit juice, she is about to dig in her first full meal when she hears a knock on the door. When she opens the door, only to see a giant bug-person and a lizardman at the door,[51] Erin freaks out barricading the door. After the two discussed whether or not to break in, the lizardman amiably asked Erin to let them in. Highly flattered when Erin asks if he is a Dragon. the lizardman identifies himself as a Drake from the nearby city of Liscor, telling her that he and his partner had saw the smoke from the kitchen fire and was checking up on it. Though wary, Erin lets them both in, offering food to the Drake, whose name was Relc and Klbkch the bug-person. During their meal she told them about the circumstances of her arrival to her inn. She also takes the advantage and asks them about classes and levels. While bewildered about how little she knew, Relc and Klbkch readily answers her questions, divulging their classes as [Spearmaster] and [Swordslayer] respectively with levels in [Guardsman]. After eating, the two are about to leave when Relc spots Erin's knife wound on her hand. Klbkch uses a healing potion to her, causing the wound to disappear. Delighted, Erin gives Klbkch a hug and offered more food. While Relc is interested, Klbkch reminds the Drake that they had to return to work. After paying for their meal, the two left.[32] The next day, after weaving a basket with grass using her [Basic Crafting] Skills, Erin went to collect some more blue fruit. When attacked by a dino-bird, she scared it off by throwing seed cores at it. However, after her skin comes into contact with the foul-liquid of the cores, she became nauseous and threw up for the next hour or so. While hiding from and watching some Goblins forage for blue fruit, she noticed a little one wearing rags poking at some of the fruit identified as poisonous an older Goblin, who apparently found something. After the Goblins left, Erin examined the fruit, and found that the bad ones were more watery than normal, though it took her longer to figure than the little Goblin had. Later, she prepared a meal and waited for Relc and Klbkch to come by, but they never arrived. Instead, a skeletal monstrosity broke in, threatening her and demanding food and money. Erin threw a pot at which turned out to be an illusion cast by a young man who was knocked unconscious by the thrown pot.[52] After regaining consciousness the young man tries to scare Erin with terrifying illusions, but Erin doesn't fall for it, catching him when he tries escaping with [Invisibility]. Finding that Erin was not your average [Innkeeper], he pays her off, pressured into giving up several silver and one gold coin. Though he is about to leave, Erin relents and gives him food. The young man introduces himself as Pisces, a [Mage] of Wistram, though when leaving, admits that he is a [Necromancer] in practice.[53] Pisces returns early the next day, hoping for more food. Soon after, Relc and Klbkch arrive. Curious about Pisces, the two Guardsmen discover he tried to rob Erin, and identify him as the suspect who has been going around robbing people with illusions. Pisces tries to escape, but Relc trips him up by throwing his spear between the young man's legs, and is arrested. Erin tries to defend Pisces but reveals the fact that he is a [Necromancer] to the [Guardsman], which is a serious crime in Liscor. The [Guardsmen] attempted to capture Pisces, but he escapes by casting an illusion of himself. Relc and Klbkch leave to hunt down Pisces, asking Erin to put their meal "on their tab."[54]Annoyed with the three of them, Erin grumbles to herself about the male gender when Pisces reveals himself, having been invisible the entire time. He asks her for shelter and basic necessities, though is turned down as he doesn't have enough money to compensate her. Unfortunately, Relc and Klbkch return, having figured out Pisces' ploy. A fight ensues between them. Not wanting Pisces killed, Erin recants her testimony of Pisces trying to rob her. As the two [Guardsmen] are technically out of their jurisdiction, and unable to [Appraise] Pisces for his [Necromancer] classes, they are forced to leave, Relc more unwillingly than Kblkch. Pisces tries to thank Erin but is bonked on the head with a pan and kicked out for the trouble he caused.[55] Dwindling on food and supplies, Erin decides to go to Liscor. However, she has a difficult experience, being the odd Human out in a city filled with Drakes and Gnolls. She enters the Adventurer's Guild, thinking it's a store, and meets a nice Drake [Receptionist] named Selys Shivertail. However, she's forced to leave by an aggressive Gnoll adventurer who tells her she smells.[56] Her trip gets worse, as she's overcharged by a racist Drake [Shopkeeper] and overhears Relc bad-mouthing her to his colleagues in the Watch. Relc chases after her, apologizing and helps carry her luggage back the inn.[56] The next day, Erin wakes up and finds Relc at her door with a "gift" of two decapitated Goblin heads. Horrified at the sight, she vomits and screams at Relc, forcing him to leave. She finds and buries the dead Goblins, then turns to see the little Goblin wearing rags, who tries to attack her. Erin reluctantly defends herself, despite not wanting to fight a child. While the small Goblin runs away, the entire Goblin tribe shows up, led by the Chieftain who shoots at Erin with a bow. As Erin runs back to the inn, the entire tribe follows, with the Chieftain slowly walking, intent on being the one to hunt and kill the [Innkeeper]. Terrified at the idea of killing someone, Erin nonetheless prepares for a fight, arming herself with a cast iron pan.[57]They fight, with the Chieftain putting a knife in Erin's stomach. He is defeated when Erin tosses a pot of hot oil in his face, and dies a slow and agonizing death.[58] Klbkch comes by to check on her, only to find a dead Goblin and a heavily wounded Human girl. He gives her a healing potion, saving her life. Klbkch reveals that he has figured out that Erin is not from this world, based on observations of her behavior and words. He offers her to escort her back to the city, and return with reinforcements to eradicate the rest of the Goblins, but Erin rebuffs him, insisting "No killing Goblins." She tells him that the tribe had attacked her due to Relc's actions. After Klbkch leaves, Erins hits her head on the wall several times, feeling ashamed of her actions and unable to fall asleep.[59] Relc and Klbkch return the next day, the former yelling about Goblins and apologizing to her. Erin throws a kitchen knife at Relc when he swears to kill all the Goblins, narrowly missing him, and tells him to leave them alone. Pisces does the same, and also leaves when she tells him that if he kills a Goblin, she'll kill him. For the next few days, Erin doesn't do much but sit in silence. Hungry, she goes to pick blue fruit, and encounters some Goblins, though they are wary of her and don't approach. Seeing their thin bodies and ragged appearances, that night, Erin invites four Goblins in, including the little Goblin, and feeds them a meal for free. After they leave, Erin smiles for the first time in days and falls asleep.[60] The following day, Erin wakes up to find a bag filled with coins, left by Klbkch with a note explaining it is the bounty payment for killing the Goblin Chieftain. Erin returns to Liscor, and confronts the Drake [Shopkeeper], named Lism, to give her money back. She is surprised to see a chessboard, giving Lism an idea to offer Erin the chance to get her money back if she beats his nephew Olesm, a [Tactician] and the best chess player in the city.[61] However, she wipes the floor with him, and Lism is forced to pay her back, with Relc and Klbkch ransacking his stall to "help" look for the receipt. While wandering around Liscor, she meets Krshia, a friendly Gnoll [Shopkeeper] who watched the chess game, and buys supplies from her. That night, while playing chess by herself, Erin's mood turns dark when she remembers the Chieftain she killed. Deciding to come up with her own rules, Erin sets up two signs in front of the inn: one spelling out the new name The Wandering Inn and the other that reads "No Killing Goblins"[62] The next day, Erin deals with her period cramps, and becomes more acquainted with Selys while looking for tampons,[63] and deals with an infestation of Acid Flies, though comes up with the idea to sell jars filled with their acid.[64] She invites Klbkch to bring some Antinium Workers for dinner, though it becomes even more awkward, with the arrival of several Goblins, including the little one whom Erin nicknames Rags, and Olesm. However, they have an enjoyable time playing chess games with each other.[65] Sadly, this brief idyllic span of time comes to an end when most of the older Goblins of the Flooded Waters try to kill her. Klbkch, Rags and three of the chess-playing Goblins help fight them off, but Klbkch is killed in the process.[66] Devastated by his death, Erin is forced into meeting the Free Queen of the Antinium Hive, who deems the [Innkeeper] unimportant to kill and lets her go. Both Relc and Watch Captain Zevara Sunderscale are furious at Erin, with the latter informing Erin that the Watch will no longer patrol the area where Erin's inn is. While Selys and Krshia comforts a crying Erin, nearly a hundred Antinium Workers approach them, with one of them offering condolences to Erin. She asks for the Worker's name, which nearly causes him to become an Aberration. However, the Worker has a moment of realization, becoming Individual. Erin, the new Individual and the other Workers leave Liscor while talking, with the Individual naming himself "Pawn." After the Workers cleans up the wreckage at Erin's inn, Erin decides to play chess.[67] As she and Pawn are playing chess, Krshia, Selys, Pisces, Olesm, Rags and some of the Goblins arrives and watch. While Erin reminisces about her past with chess, Pawn beats her several times, only to reveal that she was playing all of the Workers present, who united their minds with their telepathic abilities. Erin then shows them an Immortal Game, playing with Pawn as she mourns the loss of Klbkch. Erin levels up, and learns an unique Skill [Immortal Moment].[68] The next few days, Erin's paying guests come in the form of Antinium and Goblins, while Pisces is steadily increasing his tab as a result for not paying for his meals. When Erin informs the [Necromancer] that the Watch was no longer patrolling the area, he advises her to find protection due to local hazards. After a conversation with Selys, Erin decides to explore the local area.[69]After encountering a Shield Spider, she constructs a bonfire inside a pit and lures in a pack of Shield Spiders to their fiery demise. The smoke attracts a nearby half-Gazer adventurer, who introduces herself to Erin as Gazi Pathseeker. While Gazi was impressed with Erin's accomplishment, the [Innkeeper] feels remorseful, labeling herself a killer. She impulsively jumps into the flaming pit to save a baby Shield Spider, but throws it back in after it bites her.[70] With Gazi's help, Erin carts the Shield Spider corpses back to the Adventurer's Guild to collect their bounty. While many adventurers are in disbelief, as Shield Spiders are considered a Silver-rank threat, Gazi's arrival raises a greater stir, who is revealed to be an infamous Named Adventurer.[71]When Erin is accused of stealing by Lism, Krshia intervenes, inviting the [Innkeeper] to her home. However, Olesm shows up, excited about a chess puzzle challenge sent by the Titan of Baleros. Erin easily solves it, and gives Olesm another puzzle to solve. Gazi appears, and asks Erin if they could have a meal at her inn. While at The Wandering Inn, Relc and four other guards show up to lightly interrogate Gazi on her intentions, but Erin forces them to back off.[71] The next few days, Erin and Selys hang out several times, having lunch, picking clothes, and going to see the ruins excavated by adventurers. After returning from Liscor, she finds someone has ransacked her inn, stealing her money and most of her necessities. With Selys' help, Erin buys several weapons as a bribe for Rags and her fellow Goblins to guard her inn. Though initially reluctant due to the dangers of the Floodplains, they change their minds when Erin offers them jars filled with acid. While Erin is contemplating her situation, she hears a knock on the door, and opens it to find an undead Skeleton. Initially horrified, she soon figures out that it is Pisces' creation. He offers the skeleton as a bodyguard, while also paying off his tab.[72]However, Erin has the skeleton perform chores around the inn, though has to prevent it from attacking Pawn and two other Antinium. Pisces is incredulous that Erin is using the skeleton as manual labor instead of protection as he intended, though Gazi is impressed with it, revealing it to be a Level 1 [Skeleton Warrior]. Later, a trio of adventurers shows up looking for available rooms, but attacks the skeleton and Goblins in a knee-jerk reaction. Erin, the Antinium, and the Goblins fight them off, knocking them unconscious. When the adventurers try to threaten Erin, Gazi scares them off.[73] Erin asks Pisces to teach magic to her and Rags. While Rags shows aptitude, Erin lacks the potential for magic. While upset, she asks Pisces to give Rags some lessons, while she goes to Liscor. She meets Krshia again, who strongly insists on inviting her over for drinks. The Gnoll directly asks Erin if she is from another world, to which the [Innkeeper] freely admits to. Slightly taken aback by Erin's forthrightness, Krshia asks Erin several questions about Earth, but the answers end up overwhelming the Gnoll. causing her to faint.[74] After being revived, Krshia speculates on the nature of the spell that brought Erin to this world, while suggesting going to Wistram and its Archmages for help. After leaving Krshia's home, she spots her skeleton, whom she had named Toren, who had caught a flat fish. Erin scolds Toren as they walk back to the inn, only to find a pile of dead fish hacked to bits by the skeleton. Forced to clean the mess herself, Erin's emotions break loose, frustrated over her inability to learn magic.[75] While Erin goes to Liscor to buy pillows, she runs into Relc, and finds out that half of Market Street was partially destroyed by a fire caused by magic. They awkwardly talk about Klbkch, then Relc reveals that the Antinium Hive has a new Prognugator who is replacing Klbkch. Later that night, when playing chess with Pawn and Rags, the new Prognugator shows up, introducing himself as Ksmvr. He orders Pawn to return with him back to the Hive, using force against Erin and Toren when the former refuses him. While she tries to go after them, the other Antinium Workers stop her, revealing to her that Pawn is likely being tested if he is an Aberration or an Individual. Later, she hears a commotion outside, and sees an adventurer team with a Minotaur trying to kill Toren, Rags, and the Goblins. She throws a pan at the Calruz the Minotaur, distracting the adventurers and allowing Rags and the Goblins to escape. The adventurer team, introducing themselves as the Horns of Hammerad, tell Erin that they are looking for rooms. Erin gives them several rooms, with the stipulation that they follow the "No Killing Goblins" rule.[76] The next morning, Erin serves the Horns breakfast, becoming better acquainted with half-Elf [Ice Mage] Ceria Springwalker and Calruz. She later ropes Calruz into helping her carry food supplies back to the inn. After the dinner service, a traumatized Pawn returns with three arms and part of a leg missing, having been tortured to determine if he was Individual or Abberation.[77] Though Erin is horrified, she plays chess with the Worker to calm him down. The [Innkeeper] then suddenly leaves. While everyone believes that she left to confront Ksmvr for his actions, after several hours, they found that she was crying on the roof of the inn. Erin divulges to Ceria that sometimes she hates this world whenever she is powerless to act. She returns inside and sings to everyone in the inn all night.[78] Due to sitting out in the rain, Erin has a cold and a sore throat the next morning, though Ceria is able to use magic to heal the sore throat. She is upset to find that Pawn intends to return to the Hive.[79] She takes a nap and wakes up to find Rags and Toren playing chess, and joins them.[80] |

Erin gained her first living employee soon afterwards: Lyonette, who was reluctant to became a [Barmaid] in her inn.[89] Her employment also created a rift between Erin and all Gnolls in Liscor,[90] as Lyonette had been condemned to death in exile by the Liscorian authorities. However, Erin could steadily attract more business to her inn, most prominently the adventurer Halrac[91]. She also saw the revival of the Horns of Hammerad in that time.[92]While Ryoka was away on her delivery from Teriarch, Erin was invited by Lady Magnolia Reinhart to her mansion in Invrisil[93], and returned from there shortly before Ryoka came back with Mrsha.[94]After Erin overworked Toren, he stranded her near Celum. Ryoka managed to find Erin in Celum with Teriarch's help, and there, the two heard the news of Esthelm's fall. |

| During her stay in Celum, Erin helps start the Players of Celum. After the Horns of Hammerad conquer the dungeon in the Ruins of Albez, they return to Celum to meet up with Erin.[95] They discover that Toren had gone rogue and started murdering indiscriminately, having been given sentience by Pisces, but not a conscience. As such, Erin decides to have Pisces cut off her mana bond to Toren, thus killing him. Later, Pisces and Ksmvr return to Albez to retrieve a magical door with a teleporting spell. As Erin desired the door, the Horns give it to her and they make their way back to Liscor. On the way, they encounter a mysterious old man named Teriarch.[96] Erin and the Horns come across the partly rebuilt city of Esthelm, struggling to survive after the Goblin Lord attack. One day after arriving back at her inn, she kickstarts a relief mission to provide food, material, and adventures to help protect the city from further Goblin attacks.[97]

| At the request of Wall Lord Ilvriss, Erin connects her magical door to the Walled City of Pallass, the City of Inventions. When the Face-Eater Moths attacked Liscor, Erin helps fight them off while using the magical door to get aid from Celum and Pallass.[100]
During the Raskghar arc, the door played a vital role in bringing about Gold-Ranked Adventurers from Pallass, and defeating the Raskghar. With the defeat of the Raskghar, the Cave Goblins under their servitude were freed and put under the protection of Erin and the five Redfang Goblins. When the Flooded Waters Tribe and Redfang Tribe arrive in Liscor, Erin fed many of them over several days. And finally, when the Goblin Lord was driven to Liscor by the Humans in the North to take over the city, the Cave Goblins, the Flooded Waters Tribe, and the Redfang Tribe, with Erin's request, fought to defend the city of Liscor.[101] This resulted in over 200,000 Goblins dying that day, including Headscratcher and Shorthilt.[102] |

| In the aftermath of the Goblin Lord's attack, Erin mourns the death of her Goblin friends, and holes up in her inn for several days. She reveals the truth about being from another world to Lyonette, Mrsha, and Numbtongue. Later, Erin goes on vacation to Pallass for a few weeks, meeting new friends such as Lasica, Rufelt, Maughin, and Grimalkin.[103]> She helps in Liscor's election by properly introducing Liscor and Pallass to each other.[104]
Wistram mages come to Liscor to kidnap the Horns of Hammerad and to invite Erin to Wistram. When Erin realizes that they have abducted the Horns, she secretly organizes an attack on them. Later, Crelers emerge from the Bloodfields, coming through Erin's magical door and swarming her inn. As a result, the Wandering Inn is almost destroyed.

| Broken by Toren's death, Erin goes to Pallass on vacation for two weeks while the Wandering Inn is being rebuilt. While experimenting with her new Skill, she is arrested by Pallass's Watch and briefly sent to prison, where she meets Saliss of Lights. When she is released thanks to the intervention of Chaldion, The Walled City is attacked by a weyr of Wyverns led by a Wyvern Lord. Although she did not partake much in the battle— other than by throwing Molotov cocktails to distract some Wyverns to protect some civilians— she received worldwide attention by protecting Bird from the city of Pallass, as her actions were broadcasted to the world.
After returning to her inn, Erin discovers the full extent of her new Skills, [Like Fire, Memory] and the Garden of Sanctuary]. She is later kicked out of Celum, while finding out that there are running wagers on whether there would be attacks on previous locations she's been to.[105] After the Horns reach Invrisil and connect the magical door, she is manipulated by Magnolia, who uses the magic door to go to Liscor and reveal the extent of the Free Antinium forces to the world.[106] Erin also meets the Earthers from Magnolia's mansion, taking them under her wing, and Maviola El, who reveals to her that they share the same Skill, [Like Fire, Memory]. In the aftermath of the Bloodfeast Raiders attack on Celum, she reunited with Ryoka. Later, when Geneva Scala and her group of Earthers try to make contact with Joseph in the wake of his appearance on the scrying orbs, Erin pretends to be Joseph and is able to send them penicillin using her connections.[107] When Ryoka prepares to go on a run to save Tyrion Veltras' sons, Erin is able to summon forces from Pallass, Liscor, Celum, and the Free Antinium to combat the Assassin's Guild to secure Ryoka, Maviola, and Saliss's escape from Invrisil.[108]

In response to inquiries about the fictional "Order of Solstice" from concerned [Knights] from Terandria and Izril, Erin officially establishes the knightly Order with Normen Callesn and Rabbiteater as its first members.[114] She levels as a result, gaining the Key of Reprieve, and authority over the previously owned [Gardens of Sanctuary].[115][116] |
| Erin visits Riverfarm with Lyonette, Mrsha, Numbtongue, and other guests of the inn to talk with Laken, meet Griffin Hunt, and visit the Goblins in the Goblinlands. She meets the [Witches] of Riverfarm and offers Nanette residence in her inn, after explaining she was guided by Califor in the lands of the dead, which Nanette accepts. She also tries to summon a River Elemental, which tries to drown Cade, but the [Witches] intervenes. She learns about Wiskeria's background and decides to become her apprentice as a [Witch].[117] The lessons are grounded in everyday tasks—sweeping without Skills, attending meetings, and crafting a witch’s hat. Erin assists Wiskeria in binding an Elemental of Law into physical form, naming it Traffy. Meanwhile, Riverfarm faces a crisis as a Water Elemental floods the surrounding lands. Erin helps soothe the elemental, and in the process, manifests her witch’s hat—formed from her emotional flames. With the danger passed, she and the inn's guests, departs Riverfarm, now accompanied by Nanette Weishart, the newest ward of the inn and a stowaway Sariant Lamb, whom Erin later names "Nerry."[118]
Upon her return to The Wandering Inn, Erin is reunited with Rags.[119] During the celebrations of the victory of the adventurers' and Antinium Crusade at the High Passes, Erin holds a worldwide chess tournament, formally establishing herself as the world's greatest chess player and posts a Heroic Quest, challenging anyone to defeat her.[120] Subsequently, Izril's highest-leveled [Innkeeper] Larracel Delais and her guests arrive via her traveling inn - The Adventurer's Haven. While the adventurers are exploring Albez or Liscor's Dungeon, Erin tracks down a cursed item targeting her - made by Nerrhavia - to a magical pawn shop, where she finds two unusual items - an ugly vase and a similarly-ugly dress.[121]When several adventuring teams steal the newly discovered loot from Albez and flee to Liscor, Erin chooses to support them—offering supplies and safe passage to the New Lands—in return for a share of their spoils.[122] Erin reunites with Ryoka, though she is dismayed when she discovers that the Runner is now friends with Tyrion Veltras - the same man who sieged Liscor and responsible for the deaths of countless Goblins, including Headscratcher, Shorthilt, and Pyrite. The situation is made more complicated when a delegation from Manus and the assassin team Symphony arrive at the same time. During the confusion, Erin is held hostage by Symphony and its Maestro forces her to post a Heroic Quest - The Trial of a Thousand Blades, which offers the potential to earn Zeladona Ischen's unique Skill.[123] Though nearly everyone assumes it to be a fighting tournament, it turns out to be a free-for-all brawl. Near the end, Erin is possessed by a copy of Zeladona's spirit, who defeats the remaining fighters.[124] Afterwards, the [Innkeeper] is bedridden again. Interviewed on the scrying orb, she endorses Christmas as a new holiday, and defends her stance on Goblins. She levels again, gaining a unique Skill, [The World's Eye Theatre],[125] which she uses to contact nearly every Earther in the world to warn them of the dead gods. Erin also starts to work on getting her strength back, with help from Ulvama who teaches her how to dance, with Erin obtaining the [Dancer] class.[126] While preparing for the upcoming Winter Solstice, Erin sends Normen on his first quest, delivering food to nearby villages in need - such as Rheirgest - during the harshest winter in over a hundred years.[127] When the Bloodfeast Raiders attack the village of Salefenwool, Normen rushes to defend it, but he is quickly subdued. Erin tries to intervene via her theatre, but is helpless to prevent the leader of the Raiders from chaining Normen and setting him on fire, though the Raiders are forced to retreat in the wake of Xitegen Terland and Magnolia Reinhart's servants. When Xitegen hires Elia Arcsinger and several adventuring teams to kill the Goblins of Riverfarm, Erin and the Order of Solstice step up to defend them.[128] Erin transforms one of the [Garden of Sanctuary] into a beach setting for her guests to relax in.[129] She also sends out invitations to everyone, including Tyrion and Xitegen, to "the fight of their lives" at the upcoming Winter Solstice. She meets another Earther,a [Driver]-[Chemist] Rhaldon Flemmens, though she initially respects his wishes on staying anonymous. Erin also inadvertently inspires the Grand Design to activate Synergy Skills, from which she obtains [Lease Lesser Room].[130] During the Winter Solstice, Kasigna sends multiple armies of Draugr to assault the inn, as well as resurrecting her servants, the Hag Queens of Aklat Vunn.[131] Erin participates in the battle, using her [Gardens of Sanctuary] to summon fire and lightning to destroy hundreds of Draugr. She lures the undead to the [Gardens] that belonged to Pomle, the Dullahan [General] of the Iron Vanguard, and the Wistram [Mage] before revoking her authority to those [Gardens], returning them to the original locations.[132] Just as Kasigna and Erin are face to face, Drevish breaks free from the control of the Three-in-One, thanks to the intervention of Khorpe, Halrac Everam, and Theillige. The Architect then collapses Kasignel, releasing the trapped souls into Hellste and stripping Kasigna of much of her power. In the end, the Goddess of Death is slain by Cauwine, who delivers the final blow.[133] In the moments after the battle, Erin is kidnapped by Roshal, and teleported to a ship - the Naga's Den - off the coast of Izril, along with Ulvama, who tried to save the [Innkeeper]. Erin talks to Yazdil Achakhei and the other Slave Lords, who are split between converting her into a [Slaver] or turning her into a [Slave]. Imprisoned with the other female [Slaves] on the ship, and Ulvama taken away, Erin uses her own blood to draw sigils on her skin and dances, using a dance she learned from Cormelex's [Garden of Sanctuary]. In a room of stopped time, she summons Visophecin and forms a pact with him, striking a deal for her freedom and the safety of those who she deems fit until she reaches the shore. Visophecin and forty members of House Sheol are transported to the ship, and they slaughter the [Slavers], and free everyone on the ship. However, instead of turning back, Erin decides to steer the ship to the battle with the Bloodtear Pirates to save Rabbiteater. She uses the wording of the contract to force the Lucifen to help her.[134] On their way, they meet up with Admiral Dakelos, sent by Rhisveri Zessoprical, who helps steer the ship with his crew of ghosts. One of the ghosts, Strategist Veine, is possessed by the Grand Design of Isthekenous, who tells Erin that she is not performing the actions befitting that of an [Innkeeper], and to convince her to take another class. However, it decides to respect Erin's wishes on staying an [Innkeeper] to the end.[135] Arriving at the battle at sea, Erin attacks several of the Bloodtear Pirates' ships, personally killing Admiral Jiupe. During the conflict, she meets up with several of her allies, including the Horns of Hammerad, Ryoka Griffin, Badarrow, Revi Cotton, Seve-Alrelious, Embraim, Anand and several Painted Antiniu, Rivel, and Nerry. She also publically asks for assistance to Greydath of Blades - who had arrived in response for Ulvama's earlier call for help. This action marks her an enemy in the eyes of multiple world powers, including the Blighted Kingdom.[136] When several of the Earther [Heroes] attack her ship, Erin kills Vincent, and also stabs and pushes Emily into the sea.[137] When Prince Iradoren is about to kill Rabbiteater, Erin stabs him from behind. After she kills Admiral Rosech, most of Erin's enemies and allies are dead, fled, or have escaped. With attack spells from the Blighted Kingdom falling from the sky, only the [Innkeeper], Ulvama, Nerry and Greydath are left on the ship. Silvenia, signaled by Colthei Lacment, arrives and saves Erin, Ulvama, and Nerry by shrinking them down to Fraerling size and warding them from scrying spells. In the aftermath of the battle, Erin reaches Level 55, becoming [The Wandering Innkeeper], but her capstone Skills is deferred.[138] While floating on a plank at sea, Erin's Skills are processed. While she accepts the [Pavilion of Secrets], she rejects the first set of Skills, which include [Bound Ship: The Wandering Ship]. Rejecting the next few Skills offered, she asks the Grand Design for a Skill that matters to her, something that she can use to help her guests. In response, the Grand Design creates the Skill: [The Transient, Ephemeral, Fleeting Vault of the Mortal World. The Evanescent Safe of Passing Moments, the Faded Chest of Then and Them. The Box of Incontinuity], along with [Aspect of The Wandering Inn].[139] |

The two head inland, but are stymied by the local wildlife and bad weather conditions. During their travels, Erin activates the [Pavilion of Secrets], discovering that she can transport directly into it via her [Aspect] Skill, but is unable to take anyone else with her. There, she encounters the intelligence that governs the [Pavilion]: a doppelganger of herself, and learns that she can summon copies of anyone to extract knowledge and secrets. Erin is unwilling to post a <Quest> or use the [Pavilion] to get help, feeling that being stranded in Baleros is the punishment she deserves.[141] However, after getting into a three-way brawl with a Battle Hamster and a Corumdon Beetle that devolves into all-out war against a colony of army ants- during which she finds out that there is a crack in her soul - Erin uses the [Pavilion] to call for the nearest help: Eurise, a Fraerling from Dretonamis.[142] She attempts to talk to Lyonette in her Pavilion but changes her mind and posts <Mythical Quest: Keep The Wandering Inn Safe Until I Return.>[143] Erin and Ulvama begin traveling with the Battle Hamster and the Beetle, while the [Innkeeper] starts exhibiting the effects of magical radiation after being bombarded by spells at sea. Dying slowly in the [Pavilion], she learns about the Trials of Levelling and the truth of the Sariant Lambs' sentience. She talks to Ishkr and several other people before the Pavilion calls in her debt. It questions Erin about trying to torture her enemies and herself, and Erin opens up about her worries. She realizes that she wants to live after all, so they call Tserre to diagnose her, then Rabbiteater to carry her out. The Fraerlings save her, taking everyone to Dretonamis where Erin meets Bowom Womob the [Mad Doctor], along with the "brawling twins" Zemmy and Mera. After apologizing to Ulvama, Erin uses the Pavilion to summon Nerry, who has been transformed into an Erin-doppelganger by Silvenia. Erin gives Nerry her blessing, along with [Boon of the Guest: Erin Solstice].[11] Healing and recovering from her trauma, Erin adjusts to Fraerling life in the village. She sets up a temporary inn outside the settlement to give the villagers a night of drinking, which is interrupted by a snuffle-monster that she fends off with her aura before Eurise slays it. She and Ulvama attends the Festival of Spring's Safety.[144] On the thirty-eighth day in Dretonamis, while talking to Ulvama, Erin is alerted to the failure of the "Optional Condition: Don’t let anyone we love die" in the <Mythical Quest> given to Lyonette. Horrified by the implications, the [Innkeeper] is literally (albeit temporarily) split in half, echoing the Goblin King tearing the door to the [Garden of Sanctuary] open. Erin tries to stop the Goblin King with her aura and black flames, but is helpless.[145] Afterwards, she uses the Pavilion to try and figure out who died, but is unnerved by the Skill seemingly glitching. In order to distract her, she and Ulvama go to the neighboring village of Wyewesshi and meet its guardian, a Level 50 [Rancher] named Zinni. Ulvama is kidnapped by the Cottontail Raiders, led by Matha, Zinni's granddaughter, who is attracted to the Hobgoblin [Shaman]. The Cottontail Raiders are more akin to rebelling teenagers than actual marauders, but fearing for Ulvama's safety, Erin tortures a captured member for information. Flying out to the base with the Battle Hamster on the Corumdon Beetle, they attack the Raiders' base, taking out almost all the members. Erin slashes Matha's throat before Ulvama puts her in a chokehold. While everyone survives thanks to Bowom's medical assistance, a furious Zinni sieges Dretonamis with an aphid herd, and almost gets into a fight with Erin and Eurise. However, Fantim the [Mayor] gets everyone to back-off. Erin finally has a proper conversation with Lyonette and Mrsha in the [Pavilion of Secrets], getting an update with the events of the [Palace of Fates] and the Goblin King. Later, she uses her flames to help Ulvama with her storytelling.[146] While traveling to Lemoste-Under-Cliff with an escort of Fraerlings including Eurise, Zemmy and Mera, Bowom, and Matha, Erin uses the [Pavilion] to check up with Lyonette. During one of their sessions, the [Innkeeper] reveals that the crack in her soul has been worsening, now affecting her physically. Lyonette uses the [Evanscent Safe of Passing Moments] to transfer the soul crack to herself, unbeknowst to Erin.[147][148] The traveling entourage arrive to Lemoste, only to find the city half destroyed after it was attacked by magical army ants from the Dyed Lands. While the Fraerlings go on missions to slay the ant-queens, Erin, Ulvama, Matha and Bowom stay behind. With her soul crack gone, Erin discovers a new [Innkeeper] power: her presence makes food taste better. Wanting to cheer Ulvama up, who is feeling glum and uneasy in Lemoste, she organizes an impromptu concert with her singing and Matha and Bowom on instruments,[149] kickstarting a music obssession among the population. The Architect council asks her to continue her music initiative to boost morale, leading to the formation of several competing bands. During this time, she starts to get jealous of Ulvama doing separate activities, and kicks Matha into the sewer when the former [Raider] ogles the Hobgoblin's armpits. She tries making fun of Ulvama's armpits, hurting the [Shaman's] feelings. Embarassed, Erin retreats into the [Pavilion] and decides to ask for the person in the most immediate danger, which turns out to be Garry, who is preparing to make deliveries of bread to starving villages in Drake lands. She is unable to stop Garry, who convinces her of the need. Ulvama is outraged, and tries to force Erin to go back to the Pavilion. Both start arguing, bringing up old wounds, and they stop talking to each other for the next few days. Erin uses the Pavilion to contact Dragonspeaker Luciva Skybreath, who is about to go on an interview with Drassi Tewing condemning Garry and the Antinium. Taking advantage of the fact that only truths can be spoken in the [Pavilion], she tells Luciva that Garry is doing his deliveries out of charity, before kicking her out of the [Pavilion], forcing the Dragonspeaker to reveal to the world that truth spells aren't reliable rather than be caught lying or tell the truth about Garry's intentions.[150] The other Fraerlings try to get Erin to make up with Ulvama, but the [Innkeeper] is unwilling to budge on the issue of Garry, and is otherwise unsure on how to bridge the gap between the two.[151] Before the Battle of the Bands 4, Erin and Matha discuss an outfit change. Erin dismisses each of Matha’s suggestions and reveals her dislike for dresses. But as she reflects on all the ways she’s changed over the past few months—dancing, giving up sugar, singing in front of a crowd—Erin begins imagining a new outfit to wear. Inspired by one of Theillige's personages of a biker, she designs a biker outfit with the Fraerlings' help, with a motorcycle helmet, leather leggings and a jacket with small icons on the left sleeve, representing significant people in her life.[152] Dressed, she goes to the Battle of the Bands to meet Ulvama, who also created a new shamanic outfit to wear. She decides to arrange for a recording of the concert and send it to Wistram for a public broadcast, giving everyone a chance to counter-level. She steps in for a background dancer in a performance inspired by Olia Tira and the Sunstroke Project’s Run Away. After the concert, Erin and Ulvama finally have a conversation, resolving their argument. Erin admits to being jealous of Matha and the hamster taking up the Hobgoblin's attention. She kisses the Hobgoblin on the forehead, leaving Ulvama gobsmacked, and runs away to the bathroom, seemingly unaware of her own burgeoning feelings for Ulvama.[152] |
Powers and Abilities edit edit source
Erin's [Innkeeper] Skills are noted to be unusual for her class. As observed by Saliss, her Skills come from fighting monsters and valuing people.[105] As organized by the Grand Design of Isthekenous, most of her Skills fall under the categories of <HOME>, <PROTECTION>, and <WAR>.[153]

Chess Mastery edit edit source
Being a passionate and talented chess player back on Earth, she is one of, if not the best chess player in Innworld. She has won against experienced chess players like Niers Astoragon,[173] Az’kerash[174] and Teriarch all of whom are some of the greatest minds in the world.[175] Her advanced expertise in chess is such that it can actually cause her opponents to level just by playing her. She is also skilled enough to win against opponents using Skills to cheat or augment their play, being able to beat Chaldion's [Path to Victory].[176]
She can also play chess without looking at the board and can play against multiple chess opponents at the same time.[177][178]
Charisma edit edit source
Erin possesses a natural charisma that commands attention and makes people enjoy being in her company, put up with her oddities, or follow her to do the right thing. They do so because she is likeable, able to find the best in people, and empathizes with those who no one cared about.
Manipulation edit edit source
While it does not always work fully (and for some not at all), most of the time Erin is able to have others do what she wants. This ranges from confusing others so she can pry some information that they would not otherwise reveal to misdirecting others' initial intentions to something else entirety. After obtaining [Crowd Control] and mastered some control over her aura, she is now able to feel the flow of a crowd of people, and if the conditions are ideal, she can have them ignore her completely having them walk around her as if she weren’t there, calm them, or push them to riot.[179] Her [Witch] class also allows her to read other people's emotions. After reaching Level 50 in her [Innkeeper] class, in conjunction with her [Witch] powers, Erin can now almost read people to a literal level.[180]
Pragmatic Thinking edit edit source
Erin can come up with plans or solutions that are different from the norm. This allows her to make something out from a difficult situation from what she has at hand that otherwise others would have never thought about.
Physical and Fighting Abilities edit edit source
As noted by Calruz, Erin has a talent and sense for battle. True to this, after a few hours in her first combat exercise, not only was she able to overwhelm Toren (he was low level at the time) in a fist fight, but she also unlocked [Power Strike] as a learned Skill. though this may be due to the Earthers' <Outsider>-leveling multiplier. She primarily uses a frying pan as her main weapon, along with acid jars and a kitchen knife made by Pelt. Thanks to her [Bar Fighting], she has shown to be able to take out Bronze- and Silver-ranked adventurers by herself. In later volumes, as she levelled up, gaining magical flames and the [Witch] class, Erin has become near unstoppable while inside her inn, possessing one of the largest auras in the series, and using the moving [Garden] door to her advantage. She fought the First Flute, a high-level [Assassin] on equal terms (and could have won if she hadn't been relying on her Bulkup Bisque at the time to move about). She also gained the ability to augment her movement as she levelled as a [Dancer] under Ulvama's tutelage, and access the abilities of her Gardens, enabling her to briefly fight off Tolveilouka Ve’delina Mer and deal an unprecedented amount of damage on him. During the Night of Bloodtear, she killed several Bloodtear Captains in close combat by herself.[181] After reaching Level 50, Erin developed Galas-muscle in her body, though it currently only seems to activate in her legs, allowing to run faster.
Inn Sense Manipulation edit edit source
Erin can sense the people in her inn. It works strongest within the [Garden of Sanctuary].[182] In the land of the dead, Drevish told her that [Innkeepers] can control their inn. After returning to life, she displayed the ability to remotely lock the doors and windows of the inn.[111] She can also summon her [Garden] door and [Door of Portals] anywhere in the inn, even on the floor. After obtaining [Lesser Authority: Buildings], these powers expanded to other buildings, allowing her to remotely move tables and chairs through telekinesis as well. Within an urban area, she has an elevated awareness of her surroundings, and can track people remotely.
Witch Knowledge and Abilities edit edit source
In the land of the dead, the witches of old like the Witch of Ash and Califor taught Erin the lost knowledge of the [Witches] such as rituals of power and brewing potions. Her craft is the concept of wonder, which she can gather from the air or pull out of an object. Like other [Witches], Erin can store her craft in her hat, and use it to power her spells and potions. Her witch abilities combined with her innkeeper abilities allow her to read people very effectively.[183]
Magic edit edit source
While lacking the foundation for [Mage] abilities, Erin gained the ability to cast spells after obtaining her [Witch] class, powering them with her witch's craft instead of mana. She can cast Tier 2 magic with [Hat Trick: (Spell)] (Minor Arcana)] and remotely cast spells through her inn even when hundreds of miles away.[184] She has access to the Spell School of Color Magic Proficiency and can also harness power from her Gardens of Sanctuary, such as summoning true lightning bolts (which are more powerful than magical lightning) or disconnecting scrying spells remotely.[185] During the Winter Solstice, she was able to kill thousands of Draugr by summoning firestorms and thunderbolts from her Garden of Wistram.
Fate Manipulation edit edit source
Shaestrel taught Erin the basics of controlling her own fate.
Infernal Pact edit edit source
Erin can use a ritual dance from Cormelex's Garden to strike an Infernal Pact with the Lucifen, obtaining power in exchange for a fragment of her soul.[186] Her contract with Visophecin was annulled at his request.[187]
Former Abilities: edit edit source
Memory Manifestation edit edit source
In the land of the dead, Erin discovers that in her half-dead, half-alive state, she is able to conjure objects from her memory, such as weapons and food, which ghosts are able to use. However, the items she can materialize fade quickly. Using this ability, she is also able to summon King Arthur's sword from the land of the fae. She can also recreate scenes from her memory that shows the people that she known, for others to see.
Should a Dead God take hold of any of these conjured objects and consume them, Erin will forget them, which creates holes in her memory, and will not be able to remember them even when others tell her what she just lost.
