Calm and even-minded, Ishkr prefers to stay behind the scenes. Having weathered most of the craziest inn-events, he usually takes things in his stride. He is loyal to Erin, evident by his refusal to be bribed by Grand Strategist Chaldion.[3] Ishkr has a healthy respect for his own fur, often relying on his [Emergency Evacuation] Skill to escape before being sucked into any chaos. However, he is courageous and capable of stepping up when needed, such as when he lured Facestealer away from The Wandering Inn.[4] Overall, he enjoys working at The Wandering Inn, even turning down a lucrative offer from Innkeeper Barnethei to join his staff.

Ishkr was born around the time some Silverfang Gnolls came to Liscor. After his sister was born, at some unknown point, their parents died. The two currently live together in an apartment.[5] He was a Level 16 [Waiter] when Krshia recommended him to Erin as an employee for The Wandering Inn.

- The fact that Ishkr has a secret was mentioned for the first time in the Glossary. The secret has not been specifically revealed, and is either that his sister is a lesbian, or that he has a high-level class.
