| Lyonnete heads down to breakfast to find a sad Mrsha and consoles her with food. Drassi arrives to help while Erin tries to break the inn's windows to test her new [Reinforced Structure] skill. Erin tells Lyonette that she's going to prepare for the next time something happens to the inn.

| The Horns leave the inn early and Erin has the Half-Seekers try to break her windows. Erin notices that Jelaqua probably needs a new body and suggests an Antinium one which she considers tricky. Zel leaves to speak to the city council but hands Erin a lot of money to cover the costs of the damage during the fight with Regrika.

| The six survivng Redfang Goblins, now grown into Hobgoblins, had hidden during the night as the Goblin Lord's army passed them by and watched as they were attacked by [[Eater Goats]]. In the morning the Hobs scavenge the battle site for food and discuss their plans to go onwards: south following the surviving Eater Goats.

| Erin arrives at a farming village nearby and trades for milk from the [[Wirclaw|Gnoll Farmer]], he recommends goat milk for Mrsha. Bird stands in his tower on watch thinking about failing his duty as Erin's guard. He sees the goats and then the Goblins and comes to the conclusion that while Erin's sign says "No Killing Goblins" it doesn't mention anything about Hobs so he attacks them. Badarrow shoots back and the two snipe at each other until they eventually trade arrows, but Badarrow is shielded by his fellow Hobs whereas Bird is knocked off the roof of the inn.

| Meanwhile Erin spots a goat and talks to Wirclaw about it, but it isn't his goat. Erin's [Dangersense] activates and she spies a second goat before more arrive and begin to attack the farming village. The Goblins were watching and saw the Goats attack, they realise that they'd die if they fought the 30 goats but they decide to fight anyway, laughing as they charge forwards.
