| Olesm, under orders from the council to keep Ilvriss happy, reluctantly shares a round of drinks with the Wall Lord and his retinue at the [[Tailless Thief]]. As Ilvriss continues to tell stories he applauds Olesm for being a level 27 [Tactician] at his age and invites Olesm to come to Salazsar in the future. Olesm eventually manages to excuse himself saying he has duties elsewhere leaving Ilvriss to his thoughts.

| Olesm heads to Krshia's home to inquire about the new [[Raskghar|Gnoll-like monsters]] that were discovered in the dungeon. Krshia is still mourning Brunkr but she shares with him what she knows from the stories of the Raskghar starting with their ancient origin when the Gnolls retreated underground. The Raskghar became more like monsters and gave up their levels and the Gnolls declared them their enemy.

| Olesm and Krshia continue to talk about history, starting with the war between the Drakes and Gnolls that only ended with the arrival of the [[Five Families]] in the north, and he remains to keep her company for a while after concluding that each Raskghar is about as dangerous as a Hobgoblin.

| Two hours later Olesm heads to the adventurer's guild planning to file a report on the Raskghar and talk to Selys so that he can avoid drinking with Ilvriss. At the guild he overhears Selys refusing to pass on Pisces' request to use his undead to clear the sewers to the [[Tekshia Shivertail|guildmistress]].

| Selys waves Olesm over and he tries to submit his report about the Raskghar but Selys has plans to meet with Erin and calls over her replacement Maviss. Maviss tries to flirt with Olesm and instead of submitting the report, Olesm asks her for the records from the Crypt Expedition by the four-silver rank teams that unleashed Skinner.

| As Maviss goes to get the report, Pisces overhears and the two make tenuous smalltalk about the Horns' recent mission to clear out a cave infested with cockroaches. After Maviss returns with the report the two leave coincidentally going in the same direction. Pisces points out that Olesm is well liked and Olesm likewise mentions the general dislike of Pisces and the two devolve into an argument until Hawk arrives with a delivery for Olesm. Hawk hands Olesm a letter and ring from [[Niers Astoragon]] in appreciation for his chess magazine causing Pisces and Olesm to celebrate.

| Erin and Selys are further down the street and see the pair dancing together before moving back to their conversation about the [[Redfang Elite Warriors|Goblins]]. Olesm puts on the ring.
