Trey and the Quarass meet with Fetohep, King of Khelt. To Fetohep's approval, Trey is impressed by the opulence and beauty of the city. They are treated to an exquisite meal for which Trey orders food from Earth while discussing Khelt.
After eating, the three begin to discuss Flos his dream of unification. Fetohep threatens to annihilate Reim if Flos doesn't swear a blood oath of unconditional non-aggression and non-interference against Khelt. Fetohep claims that Flos has nothing to offer Khelt. In response, he is told that Trey comes from another world. Although astonished, Fetohep claims that the threat of the other world is insufficient to have him ally with the King of Destruction.
Worried about Fetohep's decision, Trey and the Quarass decide that Trey should try to entice him with knowledge of Earth. Before they leave to sleep, Trey leaves his smartphone with Fetohep. After seeing some of the content of the phone, including the TV show "Sherlock", Fetohep is unable to contain his curiosity for the culture of Earth.
Fetohep and Flos meet the next day. Fetohep agrees to provide food to Reim in exchange for Flos' blood oath of non-agression.
