== Synopsis == Erin's inn family has to work together to tell her that she needs to stop running away from the strategists from Niers that she'd spurned. Mrsha comes in first and Numbtongue and Bird are the second wave. Besides her general fear of commitment, Erin has other issues. She revealed to Numbtongue and Kevin that Nereshal had given her a glimpse of a future as the Goblinfriend of Izril while she was dead. Erin used vague terms to do this, but came to the conclusion that she wanted to get there but faster by making moves that her other self wouldn't have done immediately. So, Erin came out reinvigorated with a plan. First, she got in contact with Nerrhavia's Fallen and told them to check out Nerrhavia's tomb. Afterwards, she started making gifts for two of the strategists that had helped her: Niers and Altestiel. She started by playing them both in a game of chess while communicating with them both using different modes. She put feelers out about how they feel about goblins and then promised them gifts. Erin promised Altestiel a magical fortress which she would pretend to give to a courier but secretly tell the information about to Kiish, and she makes a magical dish for Niers. This magical dish is more involved as she gets assistance from Imani who has to help Erin turn her cauldron of magical emotions into an appetizing dish. The group comes up with sugar glass candies as their best option and Imani and Erin get to work. The inn starts to speed up as more people are interested in the new dish which puts a strain on the other employees. Tessa, Normen, Alcaz, and the thronebearers are all on the lookout for [Spies] and [Infiltrators] but Tessa assures Lyonette that there are only three people over level 40 in the inn: herself, Erin, and a previously overlooked Trader. The trader in the chaos helps out at the bar by quickly whipping up drinks that Liska could not keep up with and reveals himself as a rival [Innkeeper]. Meanwhile, Erin and Imani's creation is going off the rails. Too much emotion is packed in with too much logic to the point where it is about to blow up. Erin wheels out in a hurry with Venaz eventually pushing her into the garden before the pot itself erupts with a ground-shaking explosion. The aftermath leaves emotionally-filled sugar daggers slowly falling back to earth. Erin gathers these up and makes it all more [Witch]-like by getting sweet red ingredients to pair with the daggers as well as blood that one of her new guests had gotten from a nearby blood bank and some stale healing potion from Octavia. The end product is teleported over to Niers, but it isn't exactly for him - it's for Foliana. The food was named Shards of Relief, and as painful as it was to eat, it did have benefits. Namely, the food managed to cure the lasting curse that had been plaguing Foliana. Erin finished using the emotions she'd gathered, but she wasn't done cooking then. On a smaller scale, Erin improved the painful glass by using blue ingredients and turning them into softer balls that she called mana candies. They give a bit of mana like a mana potion, but they also taste good. Most importantly though, they don't give mana burn like all other forms of mana potions. The rival [Innkeeper] finally fully reveals himself as Barnethei from The Adventurer’s Haven. He is actually the [Vice Innkeeper] at the famous inn sent by his level 50+ boss and their inn can walk. One other event of note happened in the chapter. The previously mentioned guests that had given Erin the blood they had with them did not have this blood for no reason. Unbeknownst to Erin, the guests were members of the Lischelle-Drakle family who had finally made it to Liscor after a months long trek south. They had reservations about settling down there at first until they found out that the watch captain had actually arrested Ylawes for attempting to put silver into the wells and that the city also has a functioning blood bank which could be very helpful for secret vampires.
