This is the second out of two parts of Valeterisa's visit to Fissival. As before, the Scholarium as a whole disagrees with her presence, but not everyone there dislikes her. Valeterisa meets an old teacher and a [[Ascoden|[Mage Lord]]] both that appreciate her, yet most there want her gone. Valeterisa, Montressa, and the Mage Lord, Ascoden, all try to show off Valeterisa's worth through various magic competitions, but the general opinion is still against her. In one last bid for the city's favor, Valeterisa went down beneath the city and through various strategies - and a little bit of help - caused the floating city to fly.
This flight opened the city's teleportation network much further than it had ever been before for a brief period of time, and it showed the location of many teleportation nodes that the drakes had long forgotten about. Despite her love and usefulness for the city, the leaders still rejected her. Valeterisa then played her final card, patenting a new teleportation spell and refusing to share it with the city. She headed up north towards the High Passes to continue her study of magic.
