Chapter 1.11 is the 12th chapter of Gravesong.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Cara told Ser Dalius that she heard something moving. The [Knight] dismisses her claims, but she demands a torch to provide light. Ser Dalius initially refuses, citing it as a waste of wood, but eventually agrees to make one. As he went to get the materials, Cara saw undead mice. She calls for help, but no one comes.
Cara is eventually surrounded by the mice and tries to repel them with a prayer but is ultimately overwhelmed. Ser Dalius rushes to her aid, but the mice continue to pursue the young woman. The ghostly [Knight] uses a desperate maneuver to cut through the mice, but they eventually encounter a Bone Horror reanimating the mice's bones.
