Erin wakes up smiling and has breakfast. Then she goes to the blue fruit trees and crafts a basket out of grass. She collects some blue fruit and then fails to steal more eggs from another Dino Bird. She decides to wash out the bite marks she got with river water. Thanks to the blue fruit seeds, the rock crabs don't pose a problem for her.

When she returns to the inn, she has to throw up from food poisoning. She runs to the river, puking several times on her way there, and started gargling water there. She finds out it is poisonous as one fish that nibbled her puke dies. After a bit of experimenting it is clear to her that blue fruits can go bad and become rather poisonous, but she can't tell them apart for now. Erin hides behind a hill as six Goblins appear to collect water and blue fruits as well. But she left her basket behind.
