Personality[edit | edit source]

Calvaron is a genial and friendly Centaur. He welcomed a group of prospective students on their first day in Wistram[1] and provided advice and information to Ceria and Pisces, while they were settling in as new Wistram students.

As a secrets broker, he is enterprising and mercenary. He is only willing to part with a few free, minor secrets to Pisces and Ceria despite being friends with them. Although, he did became apologetic after angering Ceria when he hinted at the secrets of Ceria's criminal origins.

Background [edit | edit source]

Calvaron is an older student as well as a secrets broker at Wistram Academy. That is, he trades secrets as a middleman for others.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • He has many secrets to barter with, including those he didn't know himself, such as those written on self-erasing parchment or messages kept in bottles.[3]
  • He is not important enough for the other factions to recruit him.
  • Calvaron appears to have been romantically involved with Beatrice, considering the way they flirted. Calvaron did it openly, Beatrice with deadpan remarks that might be serious or a joke; one could never tell which.[2]

Quotes[edit | edit source]

  • (To Ceria) “Your hair looks like a tangled spiderweb, Springwalker! Did you get a bit of rest after all the magic practice this morning?”
  • (To Ceria) “Mons and Beatrice try, but no one has your sharp tongue—or penchant for kicking and throwing things at people. I keep telling them, only you can kick like a real Centaur.”
