=== Liscor-Hectval War === (Takes place during chapter(s): Interlude - Hectval Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3) During the war, Artur was unable to find a suitable position. He was clumsy with a spear, and poor enough with both bow and crossbow to be a possible danger to allies. However, Tersk refused to allow his return to the hives. Hence, Calruz gave him one simple task: Do not drop the flag. Artur would become a somewhat famous figure in the Army, with multiple squads asking to add a patch with their crest to his banner. While some non-antinium squads found his banner with childish drawings and emblems off-putting, his skill [Flag: Inspiring Sight] made soldiers who saw his banner flying, fight just a little while longer. But despite this, Artur routinely suffered from a form of survivor's guilt, as he would often survive while entire squads would be wiped out. His guilt and feeling of inadequacy would continue as the war continued. Artur would be transferred around between squads and battalions by Olesm, eventually landing under Officer Bepol. Artur would notice during battle how Bepol would often get tunnel vision during battle, forgetting to check for flanking charges or ambushing riders. Artur would notice it happening again during a later battle. He noticed [Riders] approaching from the left flank using boulders as concealment, and Bepol was too focused on the fight in front of him to listen to Artur's warnings. Artur's insecure nature would lose to his refusal to see more of his allies die, causing him to order multiple squads himself with professional clarity and speed. His quick acting would be the event to have his class evolve from [Flag Bearer] to [Banner Leader]. After this, Olesm would realize that Artur's real skill set lies in being a leader, not a warrior. Artur would develop his personality more, gaining a habit of eavesdropping on Olesm and other officers, and becoming the unofficial messenger of the army. In addition, he began acting like much more of a soldier once he found a role he excelled in. He spoke with confidence, listened to orders, and even made an impression on Embria with how fast he, and the Antinium in general, were changing.
