After Nailren disbanded [[The Pride of Kelia]] Bekr joins him in exploring the [[New Lands of Izril|New Lands]]. Though after a few months there he has gotten a bit homesick as Nailren observed. For exploring the New Lands he rides Shebites a [[Longstalker’s Fang Tribe|Longstalker’s Fang]] heifer, a smaller and more compact cow with orangey fur and horns known as Plainsfollower Cattle. While not as fast as horses he can milk her for fresh milk for the explorers due to one of his Skills.<ref>{{VERef|10.39 YN}}</ref>
