==Powers and Abilities==
<blockquote>"Califor’s good at everything she does. Illusions to charms to basic magic and non-magical things—she’s a teacher, and she sorts problems out"<ref name="6.40 E" /></blockquote>She is mainly seen using sympathy and illusion magic  :

*When a bandit attacked her, she made him think she was to his left while she was in fact to his right. The bandit was looking right at her but swung in the wrong direction towards his ally.<ref name=":6.37 E" />

* Instantaneous movement, by using her cloak of Balkshadow, she was able to make Nanette and her disappear, and cover some ground to escape from the bandits :

<blockquote>"She lifted her travelling cloak and whirled it across the air, blocking the two from sight. [...] The two on horseback wavered and then ''vanished''. [...] They saw two distant figures on horseback."<ref name=":6.37 E" /></blockquote>

* She was able to protect Nanette and her from the bandits' arrows using sympathy magic, by tossing a handful of twigs taken from the ground left and right :
<blockquote>"The arrows that landed close enough for Nanette’s horse to flinch were meant for the two [Witches]. —But no matter how hard the [Archers] tried, they couldn’t seem to land a shot"<ref name=":6.37 E" /></blockquote>
*She made Nanette sleep by using sympathy magic to link them both :
<blockquote>"Califor whispered and flicked fingers across her eyes. Instantly, she felt her mouth force a yawn out; her target, Nanette, would feel the effects just as strongly, if not more so."<ref name="6.40 E" /></blockquote>

* She can ride through fire unarmed<ref name=":1" /> :
<blockquote>"Witch Califor [...] drew a blade. She swung it and cut through a wall of fire and parted the inferno for her rearing horse."</blockquote>

* She can move fast by covering more ground than she should be able to, just like Belavierr :

<blockquote>Belavierr nodded. She paused—then reached out—and Califor caught her hand. Belavierr had taken a step forwards, a dozen feet—and Witch Califor had rode forwards as well. Passed eight feet in a single horse’s hoof—caught Belavierr, and rebuffed her, so the other [Witch] rocked on her feet.<ref name=":1" /></blockquote>
*By sacrificing her life, she was able to take into her the wildfire that was devouring all of Riverfarm :<ref name=":1">{{VERef|6.46 E}}</ref>
<blockquote>“''Halt, fire! You race and burn everything away! But I? I have a life I must save! So burn and follow me!''” The [Witch] rode forwards. Her voice called the flames. They halted, across the river, as they licked at Riverfarm’s houses.[...] The flames on Wiskeria stopped burning and—turned. Towards the [Witch]. She lifted her hand, beckoning them, spreading her arms wide, welcoming them, and the fire ran. It leapt off Wiskeria. [...] It caught the [Witch] in a moment. [...] The [Witch] screamed and the fire leapt from the people. It abandoned the ground and raced after her. She clutched her hat to her head as she galloped, a fireball.

“''Come, flame, I offer my magic and craft. I offer a [Witch]’s bones, a mother’s love! I offer my life to turn your wrath! So come and burn away. That my daughter might live one more day.''”

The flames burning the forest, the village—the entire region ablaze followed after like a stream of destruction. Bound in a single woman’s wake. Still, the [Witch] rode on, though the horse was stumbling, and her skin was immolating, turning molten. She was pulling, now. Pulling the flames—all of them—after her. They roared across the ground, leaving the village, leaving the [Witches]. [...] They burned the [Witch]. Devoured her down to her bones, now. And there she stopped. Still sitting upright in that saddle, a skeleton holding onto a burning hat."</blockquote>She can also use vengeance magic<ref>{{VERef|8.85}}</ref>, which could be an application of sympathy magic :
*When her ghost possessed a skeleton thanks to [[Khelt]]'s ritual, she attacked [[Belavierr Donamia|Belavierr]] by summoning the same inferno that had killed her due to Belavierr’s manipulations:
<blockquote>"The fire that had engulfed her burst into flames across Belavierr’s body. Califor’s death-flame engulfed the Witch of Webs."</blockquote>
*When the physical manifestation of the fire failed, she managed to trap the Witch of Webs inside her own body, forcing her to relive her final moments as the fire that had scorched an entire region consumed her :
<blockquote>''"Califor’s gaze sucked Belavierr into a witch’s body. The Stitch-Witch  [..]'' felt the heat of a wildfire’s blaze engulf her. She began to scream, racing across the ground, a living torch. ''Her death, given to Califor.'' Belavierr burned until the body was ash.
