Like Yvlon, Cervial was interested in the dungeon raid primarily for treasure.<ref name="1.12R"/> He could provide the expedition with a map of the first level of the ruins.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/01/31/1-40/ Chapter 1.40]</ref> The five captains and their respective teams finally entered the dungeon, where Cervial's group served as scouts and ranged support. In the fights with the [Crypt Lords] they lost four members, among them ''Elise''.<ref name="1.01H">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/02/15/1-01-h/ Chapter 1.01 H]</ref> When the raid split into two groups, Gerald, Lir and Cervial found the door behind which [[Skinner]] was hiding.
