| In this chapter we learn what happened to the Horns after the solstice battle.
| |
|
| |
| Pisces and Colth have delayed their arrival to Chandrar by turning the spelled piece of driftwood from Silvenia into a ship with Pisces' magic, thus removing the magic that would've carried them to shore. They barely make it to Medain, but before they can meet Yvlon, who arrived long before them by walking along the sea floor, they are taken in by King Raelt of Jecrass.
| |
|
| |
| Ceria was found by the Claiven Earth, encased in a block of ice. She has since been defrosted, but as Jecrass and the Claiven Earth are refusing Perric's invitations, Yvlon is left alone in Medain.
| |
|
| |
| Not wanting to get involved with Perric, she refuses any gifts, acts as inoffensive and boring as possible at gatherings (much to everyone's chagrin), and uses her new dream-related Skills to train while sleeping.
| |
|
| |
| At some point she has enough, however, and after a discussion with the Djinni Maef, she comes up with a plan to escape. She simply walks out of the palace, rattling off the same mindnumbingly uninteresting introduction speech whenever she meets someone along the way. If needed, she adds a threat at the end, but she makes it to the Claiven Earth without much issue.
| |
|
| |
| One speech later, she is finally reunited with Ceria, who has been beating her circlet into submission, and is overjoyed to finally meet Yvlon again. They resolve to set off and find the rest of their team.

| |
| Asking someone a variation of "Finally awake?" is a common form of light ribbing in Chandrar. Yvlon is not amused.
