==tl;dr==

* [[Cara O'Sullivan|Cara]] and the rest of [[The Singer's Band]] travel on ship heading towards [[Baleros]], [[Thien]] chats with her to get some answers out of the Singer until their ship is rammed by a [[Rhir|Rhirian]] vessel.
*[Soldiers] of Rhir do their best to capture the Singer and the [[Earthers]] alive while Cara does what she can to delay and stop them, Rhir's sleeping prisoner [[Thomas Trautmann|Tom]] awakens and begins to kill everyone in his way tossing Cara at the coastline.
* [[Niers Astoragon|Niers]], having a bad day, contemplates leaving it all behind for one last crusade when a door suddenly appears before him, after a number people arrive at his room from an alarm, Niers enters the door as the call of adventure whispers to him.
*[[Erin Solstice|Erin]] and Niers finally meet each other in the [[Pavilion of Secrets|[Pavilion of Secrets]]] with the both of them sharing their experiences, thoughts, troubles and more.
* [[Foliana]] manages to open the door a shy bit with Erin allowing her entry into the skill, Erin shares her time in [[Kasignel]] meeting the people there with Niers sharing his time fighting in the Labyrinth of Souls seeing the face of [[Elves]].
*Foliana cuts the vision apart to share a memory of when she met [[Iradoren]] and [[Nuvityn]] in [[Erribathe]] to show Erin who she made an enemy of.
*The three say their goodbyes with Foliana forbidding Niers from courting Erin any longer as he is too old.

==Synopsis==
While [[Cara O'Sullivan|Cara]] was standing on board the ship traveling to the continent she never wanted to visit, [[Thien]] comes by to talk to her about their change in destination from the [[New Lands of Izril]] to [[Baleros]] and the general feelings of members of [[The Singer's Band]]. He narrows the reason for the change being the 4th [Princess] of [[Calanfer]], [[Seraphel du Marquin|Seraphel]], whom Cara wants to help, all he wants are serious answers from the Singer. She expresses that she doesn't have a great plan in place and is currently winging it, she thought that she would find a home for the [[Earthers]] free and independent of influence from other powers. Thien chooses to join [[The Wandering Inn]] for whatever the group decides to vote on to the shock of Cara, having her mood lightened she thinks over the simple plan she has in her mind until she catches sight of ship appearing from the waters heading their way. Their ship gets rammed by the oncoming ship raising their flag, Cara shoves Thien to call for help as she recognizes the flag from the enemy ship coming from [[Rhir]].

On the Rhirian ship ''"The First Point"'', [Lieutenant] [[Eireth Versh|Eireth]] has been tasked with capturing the Singer of Terandria and her band alive before venturing forth to their main mission of aiding in the fight against the [[Dyed Lands]]. She keeps their sleeping prisoner on hold for now as her fighters take on the [Storm Sailors], everything was going as planned until she sees the Singer open her mouth interrupting their assault blasting her and everyone on board. The Rhirian [Soldiers] get closer to Cara until she sings a song that raises the dead attacking the surprised [Soldiers]. Cara uses all of her skills and songs, but she is just one person against an army with no champion to protect her, she then hears the sounds of laughter of pure madness as she sees a press of bodies blockade one of the stairwells being sliced apart. [[Thomas Trautmann|Tom]] the [Clown], awoken up from a voice goes out to chase after its source cutting away all that barred his way to the singing Demoness with pink horns, he grabs Cara and throws her at the coastline and returns back to killing [[Demons]].

Investigations on the supposedly ''[[Bloodtear Pirates]] attack'' made it clear to most that it was a blatant lie to cover up the fact that it was Rhir who was the aggressor, after receiving no response back from the letter that he sent, [[Niers Astoragon|Niers]] sends two of his students and information he has to [[Nerry|Nerry-Erin's]] party to go help the Singer. Cara finds herself alive and mostly okay, alone, sunburnt at the beaches of Baleros.

Niers is having a bad and disappointing day believing that everything he went through should had won him more pleasantries, but no since he has two fight two wars and the person that he has been wanting to meet wasn't even her to begin with. He had thought about giving up, passing on the company to [[Perorn Sadiluc|Perorn]], committing to one last crusade, doing a full-frontal assault at the heads of [[Jungle Tails]], and a number of other options but he couldn't do it. The tired man turned in his room ignoring a door that appeared walking right passed it, activating an alarm he investigates the door wondering what is taking everyone so long and if the someone has taken the citadel. As [[Atmodeca]], [[Eirnos]], [[Foliana]] and a bunch of others arrive at his room they find the discrepancy between their sense of time leading Niers to believe the door has some time ability to it. Niers begins to flip a coin while talking with his subordinates about the situation when everyone around him freezes still, thinking it's probably a trap but can't help himself he looks over his gear and then reaches for the door. He stares into a void find a gazebo in the distance, leaving a message behind, the call to adventure sings to him.

[[Erin Solstice|Erin]] learned that high-leveled people can refused to be summoned by the [[Pavilion of Secrets|[Pavilion of Secrets]]] as Pavilion-Erin shares further detail, Pavilion-Erin leaves leaving Erin alone contemplating on how she should begin this meeting that been waiting for the both of them. Meeting the man with her eyes, Erin can see that Niers is already testing the waters of the rules of this skill and digging for information from her, it reminds of a time when she met an actual Grandmaster of Chess. Centering herself she smiles at him at takes charge of the conversation by asking for an introduction; after introducing himself he shares that this is how he would trap himself with Erin understanding the mindset after the last time he tried to meet her. She wanted to meet him as he is someone that can judge her, not by the facades she has created, but by the truth beneath the illusion.

Niers is not sure of what he sees when looking at this Erin, she doesn't fit his neat box of a warrior, leader, or even survivor; he views her as a lens of light that shine down many rays of her still unsure of what it means, considering [Innkeeper] a good class for her. Erin recognizes that this conversation is going to be similar like training with the [[Quarass]], he warns her to not bring someone like her to this place naming a few others to avoid and asks who put her in chains. Erin assuages him that they're dead or too protected by telling him of the six of [[Roshal]] that returned, Niers tries to dig for more information about her whereabouts with her being reserved about her situation. Niers decides to share the difficulties the [[Forgotten Wing Company]] is currently facing and conjures a war map to the chagrin of Erin, he explains his strategy against the Jungle Tails by retreating from their front lines inwards expect for the forts to delay them from establishing a base of power. Erin says that she could never do his job because she would've rallied those evacuating to die for their homes and asks him how he does not become a monster just like [[Chaldion Oliwing|Chaldion]]. He conveys that when one holds power, it's to avoid what you know you can do like ordering someone's death, to put an anchor down to stay grounded and cling to it. Niers shares the truth of his home of Laismosz, that it wasn't destroyed but was constantly attack for its association with Niers that it dissolved into smaller settlements, of how he sometimes believe he could've made it like the current [[Paeth]] but that he never gave them the choice and it was chosen for him. Hearing Erin's words, Niers felt connected to her, but it was too strong as they understood too much of each other, to have someone understand you so perfectly, helpless in the face of a tragedy of their own design. Turning around Niers notices the door he came through is opened just a shy bit, they come to find that it's Foliana opening the door on the other side. 

Erin lets Foliana in with the her asking if it's a trap to Niers and then for snacks and refusing any place Erin recommends going to, after raiding a few places for snacks and drinks they return to the gazebo. The tale of when Foliana was shrunken to [[Fraerling]]-size is told as the Colored Stalker tries to lock pick her way into the [[Palace of Fates|[Palace of Fates]]], failing that they faff about until Erin thanks the two for not pressuring her super hard and begins to conjure up an image of [[Zineryr]] and the others she met in her time in [[Kasignel]]. She hasn't shown anyone else her memories as she believes it's too awful to show them but that what Niers has gone through would make him understand. Not to be outdone, Niers conjures up his own memories of his time time fighting in the Labyrinth of Souls and seeing the face of [[Elves]], then to a time he met a young Earth [[Dragons|Dragon]] in a marsh. As the two were easing up on their control on the images around them, Foliana cuts everything apart to show the [Innkeeper] a vision she wished to show her, of a time when a younger her and Niers visited the Court of Myths in [[Erribathe]]. Images of [[Iradoren]], the man Erin killed, and [[Nuvityn]], her foe, are presented to teach her something that she's been avoiding, Erin thanks the both of them and announced the end of today's meeting with the two saying their goodbyes.

Returning back reality resumes with the two going over what happened with the rest in the room confused and alerted, Foliana then forbids Niers from courting Erin as he is too old.
