Editing Chapter 10.47 S (Pt. 1)

* Onieva tells Ishkr the tale of when Saliss reached level 40 during the [[First Antinium War]] that clearly implies that she's the famed [[Adventurers|Adventurer]].

* Onieva explains her journey of self discovery to the [Head Server] with Ishkr not knowing how to respond.

[[Saliss Oliwing|Saliss]] overlooks his home of [[Pallass]] knowing that its origins is different from the grand edifices of the other [[Walled Cities]] thinking over the well of emotions he carries for the place, he says his goodbyes to everyone before he goes on his trip to the [[New Lands of Izril]]. Pulling back the strength of his [[aura]], Saliss barges into the Watch House to meet [[Qissa]] who he's fond of, a flashback of when Saliss had taken care of an [Assassin] heading for [[The Wandering Inn|inn]] with Qissa as an observer to what the [Alchemist] can do. Qissa says that Pallass will have a harder time without him mentioning that she was offered the job to be [[Liscor|Liscor's]] Watch Commander but refused believing that she couldn't match up to [[Zevara Sunderscale|Zevara]] and her solitary fight against the Soot Gang, Qissa then juxtaposes Zevara's battle to that one gang to Saliss' efforts in the gangs he had destroyed over the years. As Saliss leaves the Watch House Qissa commands all the Guards there to salute the Named-Rank [[Adventurers|Adventurer]] as the man strides past them.

Saliss plays around with some fruit on [[Chaldion Oliwing|Chaldion's]] face telling his old man that he's going off to a trip to the new lands with [[Edellein Blackwing|Edellein]] and his army trying to get a reacting out of the vegetable, he is forced to stop shaking his father any further by [[Ulla]]. He apologizes for what he did and saunters off leaving the study, as he walks away Saliss hears the faint words of Chaldion wishing him luck. After calming himself Saliss returns back to his workshop finding his apprentice [[Octavia Cotton|Octavia]] making a potion of Fire Blast, he tells her to take a break from [[Alchemy]] as using it as barrier to block her feelings about her broken relationship with [[Numbtongue]] wouldn't be good for her. He tells her that it's common for alchemists to try and create something like a potion of Love after a heartbreak with Saliss not playing his own experiences as a joke, Octavia then asks him who else he plans on saying goodbye to. Saliss tells her five people but after a short moment of fear thinking about a certain [[Gnoll]] he recorrects himself into saying six people, he hugs the [[String People|String Woman]] hoping that his experiment of treating the apprentice well into a great [Alchemist] will actually work.

[[Mirn]] tells Onieva to not tell [[Ishkr Silverfang|Ishkr]] the truth and to only tell him that she's going on a trip, the two of them argue about what should be shared about her complex situation with the Gnoll [Server]. Onieva wants her relationship with Ishkr to not be founded on lies while Mirn wants to save Onieva from the potential hurt that conversation could have, Onieva brings up a number of points against herself with Mirn pointing it out as self-sabotage. Mirn brings up the time when Onieva—under the effects of the [[Faerie Flowers]] potion—forgot that she was Saliss and that she didn't hate him meaning there's nothing to be ashamed about, but she retorts back saying that Fae-Onieva didn't know the bastard that Saliss was at the time. Losing heart Mirn just begins to chart out the possible outcomes from conversation with Onieva threatening Mirn with a sex-change potion if he briefs the Gnoll, Mirn will continue trying to make a place for [[Turnscales]] in Pallass with the help of [[Rose Cinevoy|Rose]] as the two of them says their goodbyes.

After a certain [[Toren|Skeleton]] wearing relic-armor interrupted their conversation, Onieva and Ishkr return back to the inn with the [[Drake]] full of nerves, entering Ishkr's room, Onieva begins to tell the Gnoll a story of who she was. During the [[First Antinium War]] when the [[Black Tide]] was everywhere and communications between settlements were dark, runners like [[Mihaela Godfrey|Mihaela]] became the driving force of transferring information and supplies while Adventurers like Saliss were sent to assess the situation of 'dark' settlements. Saliss and his team were sent to the location that will become the Twisted Hive with [[Wrymvr]] hunting around the destroyed village, Saliss was about the enter a cellar when a Drake girl tells him that it's trapped with poison. As the Centenium was closing in on their position, Saliss was about to make the practical choice by run away leaving the girl behind but he heard her say her last goodbye, taking a potion, Onieva appeared beginning to fend off against the [[Antinium]]. Not being able to kill him, she instead collapses a hillside over the Centenium burying him underneath the rubble giving Saliss enough time to revert back and grab the girl as he flees.

Finished with telling her tale Onieva shakily explains that what she feels is not based on some sort of mind sickness and once she realized that she tried to tell someone, Ishkr asks who she tried to tell making her spiral through her time with [[Zeter Flexspine|Zeter]] and the few other relationships that she had. Saliss' first love was with another [Alchemist] in Pallass who was working up the same ranks as he was, their separation was clean one as they both decided that it wasn't working for them. Then it was a exploitative relationship with her Alchemy Master in [[Nerrhavia's Fallen]], for all the pain that mess of a place was it was where Onieva found who she truly was. It was when she made friends with a Stitch-man who shared that he changed his cloth from a Stitch-girl growing up which put the concept of transitioning in the Drake's mind and experiencing a culture where it wasn't frowned upon that sent Saliss on the journey to focus his efforts and alchemy on transformation.

Saliss stares at his claws not wanting to see the reaction of Ishkr, Ishkr asks a few questions to make sure that this is not a joke and after learning that it's the truth becomes confused asking for Saliss to revert to Onieva to make it easier for him. Onieva then slowly waits for the reaction she's expecting becoming annoyed from him taking so long, Ishkr was rather dumbfounded as he didn't know what to think as his only experience with Turnscales is with his sister [[Liska Silverfang|Liska]]. Ishkr goes through his thoughts and emotions to try to find a good response thinking on how the others of the inn would react in his place finding not much there, Onieva unable to wait any longer tries to leave but hesitates asking if he wants to hit her which just confuses Ishkr again which makes her spill out her previous relationships.

Ishkr becomes infuriated after learning how horrible her past partners were asking for their names before asking Onieva what's it like being a turnscale, she explains that they're basically the same as everyone else until others find out about it and then you'd get flogged or lynched if you couldn't escape fast enough. Ishkr is in disbelief as nothing that bad had happened to Liska with Onieva telling him why would she tell him if it did, Ishkr does not like the implication that he would respond with violence but gets blatantly told how would his sister ever know that he wouldn't respond with hatred. He asks what would happen if the turnscales retaliated or how many there are in Pallass alone, the response he gets paints a picture that he has had a large blind spot to the turnscale issue compared to the others that he had faced before.

 

Onieva return back to Mirn's bar bringing Ishkr along to meet the [Protector] telling the man of what happened between the two of them, Onieva desperately wanted [[Erin Solstice|Erin's]] [Immortal Moment] at that moment as the time as herself shorten with every tick of the clock, the couple go around the city loving each other in the open. Saliss wakes up returning to a state of self hatred knowing that despite all of his fears that he had a spark of happiness within him as he departs.
