Ryoka has run from the Stonespears Tribe towards Az'kerash for four days now, and practiced her low-tier magic while talking to the Frost Faeries. The Faerie that usually accompanies her, suddenly warns her about a battle occuring right in front of her. Ryoka is discovered nevertheless, and hiding doesn't work for long. She is captured as a possible non-combattant, and led to Wall Lord Ilvriss for questioning. | |||
Meanwhile, | Meanwhile, Zel Shivertail makes his plans: Unlike what he thinks Ilvriss is expecting, he will charge him right away instead of taking a defensive position, despite this not being his usual strategy. | ||
Ryoka is led into the tent of Ilvriss, who intends to detain her until his battle is sorted out. Unfortunately, he also tries to confiscate Ryoka's items, and opens her stinking potion. Ryoka uses the ensuing chaos to disable Ilvriss with a pepper potion and escapes his command tent, then uses a smoke bomb bag to get out of trouble. As she barrels out of Ilvriss' war camp, she encounters yet another army. | |||
Zel has disabled all of Ilvriss' [Scouts] and orders the attack on Ilvriss' forces just when they are in disarray in their own camp. Some human girl runs away from both armies, and Zel leads the attack. | |||
