Apista hatches. Erin creates the [[Healing Slime]]. [[Typhenous|Typhenous]] gets lodestones for the magic door. Zel commissions Hawk to take one to [[Pallass]] immediately. Brunkr is knighted. [[Venitra|Regrika Blackpaw]] arrives in Liscor.

== Synopsis ==
Ivolethe feels that it was going to be an important day today, Ryoka on the other hand realises it's going to be bad. As she heads to the breakfast table she's greeted by the sight of Apista and asks Lyonette to take her away as she eats. Ryoka realises she's in a bad mood today when Erin comes over to ask if she's okay. Ryoka notices the pot she's carrying and Erin reveals that it's a slime that she made from water and a mana potion. Ryoka immediately argues with Erin that this is exactly like Toren and Rags: Rags has started a tribe and Toren's a monster. Erin argues back about Rags and tells her that Typhenous says Slimes can't feel pain. Erin argues that it's a small slime that isn't dangerous when the slime jumps onto Ryoka's face.

After Ryoka throws up she tells Erin to kill the slime, but she refuses since it isn't a "bad" monster and Ryoka begins to berate her about Goblins and the Goblin Lord too. Erin points out her sign and mentions to Lyonette to shovel it out of the snow before the two continue to argue about Rags. Erin relents and plucks out the slime core but tells Ryok that she'll make a very small healing slime and keep it safe.

They hear Mrsha howling outside, hunted by a Razorbeak and Ryoka tries to protect the Gnoll while Erin manages to kill it with a thrown knife. Ryoka makes a comment that Erin is remarkably good at killing despite her views and the two girls start fighting until Mrsha and Lyonette break it up. Meanwhile the Free Queen had been told by Klbkch that the other Queens were no longer attempting to create more Queens. Angry and feeling betrayed, she begins to experiment using her own eggs.

Ryoka and Erin manage to apologize to each other after both calming down. The two enter a bathhouse in the city to clean off the slime. Erin asks Ryoka about whether she had ever been to anger management classes and Ryoka tells her that it didn't work. As they talk they are approached by a female Drake, Welsca Crimsonscale, in service to Wall Lord Ilvriss. She introduces herself and asks Ryoka to go and see Ilvriss but Erin and Ryoka try to chase her off after she intrudes into their tub, before they end up physically attempting to throw her out.

Ryoka finds herself cuffed in Liscor's guardhouse after kicking Welsca into someone else's tub. As one of the on-duty Guardsmen sits down to review the incident with her, commenting on Erin's extensive file in the process, Relc arrives to see if things can be sped up so he can get Erin to make him roasted eels that she promised. As Relc leaves and Ryoka begins to defend herself the "Guardsman" begins to interrogate her about Periss on behalf of Ilvriss. He begins to threaten her with leaking information from Erin's file to Liscor's actual governing body, Liscor's army, or a Wall Lord who might hire the Assassin's Guild to take care of her.

Relc sees Ryoka kick the Drake in the groin and "[Relc Headbutt's]" her but then he notices the Drake and realises he isn't one of the new Guardsmen and [Relc Punches] him. As Ryoka tries to get back to her senses she tells Relc that the Drake is one of Ilvriss' and he tells Zevara that Ilvriss started the trouble and decides to take his break immediately.

Brunkr is busy training Lyonette to use a sword just outside the inn as he agreed, with Mrsha watching from within the inn with a leashed Apista inside as well as Ishkr and Ivolethe slowly dropping garlic onto the Gnoll. The two had become closer once they had both apologized to each other and Brunkr realises that Lyonette was the one responsible for obtaining the honey. Brunkr mentions his dream to become a [Knight] to the girl and she tells him that she needs a [lord] to make him one. Brunkr had hoped to find a [Lord] when he headed north to meet with Krshia but doesn't think it's going to happen. Ivolethe watches as Lyonette whispers a vow, heard by all three Gnolls inn surprise. They continue to train as Mrsha continues staring at Lyonette.

Relc finally realises that he met Ryoka before after encountering Hawk after leaving the city. Erin creates a slime from drops of a healing potion and water but has kept it really small. As she tries to scoop up part of the slime to test she notices the slime trying to escape from her and shaking in fear. Erin realises that this is the same slime from before and realises that Ryoka was right, this would be Toren again. Erin begins to dilute the healing slime with water and other ingredients before pouring the slime out the window. Typhenous and Octavia enter the kitchen to check on her progress with the slime but Erin lies and tells them that the experiment didn't work and later she spreads the idea that healing slimes most definitely can't be made.

Typhenous finally has his delivery of lodestones to attune to the door and after attuning one stone for an emergency exit fo rthe adventurers he suggests that Erin sends a runner to Invrisil to create a link. Relc overhears Invrisil and argues about using a stone for a Walled City and Olesm suggests Pallass. The argument gets heated and somehow results in an arm wrestling contest between the adventurers and Drakes. Zel overhears and tries to persuade Erin to put it in Pallass so that he can hear news regardubg a fellow [General] and offers to pay Hawk the price for the delivery who agrees and says he'll leave tonight and arrive tomorrow.

Garia arrives into the inn as a [martial Artist] and Relc challenges her to an arm wrestling contest. Meanwhile Pisces and Ceria argue over what they should do next while Yvlon thinks about her new class that she hasn't told anyone about yet: [Wounded Warrior] and now believes she'll never be a [Knight]. Hawk leaves for his delivery and Ceria asks for Yvlon for her opinion and she suggests Esthelm. While they talk a human adventurer bursts into the inn and tells everyone that a Named adventurer has arrived in Liscor: Regrika Blackpaw, a Gnoll, that has formed a two man team with a gold-ranka adventurer. All the Gnolls in the room rush towards the city followed by everyone else.

Ivolethe watches as Regrika talks to Krshia and the gold-rank adventurers waiting for the last event to happen. Hawk returns to the city with the body of a dead Drake and has the Guardsmen sound the alarm and gather the council and Watch Captain Zevara. Zel's already there and Hawk tells him what the soldier told ihm before he died: The Goblin Lord crushed both armies and killed Garusa Weatherfur, Thrissiam Blackwing ordered the rest of the army to buy time to get word out that the Goblin Lord is also a [Necromancer]. Zel follows Hawk to the council and a Guardsmen requests Regrika Blackpaw's presence with them as well and others rush to find Ilvriss.

Ryoka asks Ivolethe what's happening but she refuses to say anything as she cannot interfere. Then Ryoka notices Ivolethe begin to melt and she tells her that Winter is ending soon. Zel and Ilvriss begin send messages out to the other Drake cities, Typhenous messages Tyrion Veltras and Magnolia Reinhart immediately.
