[[Ryoka Griffin|Ryoka]] gets kidnapped by [[Serafierre val Lischelle-Drakle|Fierre]]  and taken to her family's home. She meets [[Colfa val Lischelle-Drakle|Colfa]] , [[Himilt val Lischelle-Drakle|Himilt,]] and [[Rivel val Lischelle-Drakle|Rivel]]. After earning a tenuous trust from the Lischelle-Drakles and learning a lot about [[vampires]], Ryoka and Fierre return to [[Reizmelt|Reizmelt]] where they grab drinks with the [[Pithfire Hounds]]. Ryoka takes her first Courier-level delivery and, while completing it, is chased down by bandits-- whom she easily outwits with a bag of dust, caltrops, and the wind.

== Synopsis ==
[[Ryoka Griffin]] gets kidnapped by [[Serafierre val Lischelle-Drakle]] to her family home where she’s confronted by a family of sickly looking [[vampires]]. [[Colfa val Lischelle-Drakle]] fails to interrogate Ryoka to her surprise. The vampires are forced to trust her to keep their secret. After befriending Fierre, the two returns to [[Reizmelt]] where they find the [[Pithfire Hounds]] waiting for her inside the inn they were staying at. They thank her in person and offer her a drink. At the end of the chapter, she takes on courier listed deliveries and is sent on a difficult delivery. She completes it despite bandits chasing after her, returning to Madain’s inn whilst clutching an icy figurine of [[Ivolethe]] in her belt pouch.
