| Selys is hysterical after the attack and demands that the mages be thrown in jail. The Horns and the Halfseekers are both furious that the mages are being released with just a fine. Pisces attempts to provoke a duel with them and then terrifies Montressa with an illusion.

| In his castle, Az'Kerash intercepts the bounty message and gathers information about the situation. The actions of Wistram infuriate him as he recognizes the similarity with his own past. He finds the record of Pisces' trial and begins to wonder at Wistram's motivations.
