Over a hundred years ago, Dioname was an unwanted child, She and other similar problem children were gathered by Rhisveri and given fine education and training, with the opportunity to make something of themselves and serve him. She became one of a handful of the best, and Rhisveri began teaching her personally. She was one of the only two children to learn his true identity, and the Wyrm taught her time magic. She started with one of the Oaths of Time and later learned to sacrifice her own time with Rhisveri's help. She eventually surpassed everyone but Rhisveri himself, and earned the respect of all of the immortals.
