'''Dretonamis''' is a [[Fraerlings|Fraerling]] village in [[Baleros]] somewhat close to the coast in the direction of Wistram.

== Geography ==
The village is located in the Balerosian jungle. Significant locations are the coast - which takes a week-long trek to reach- and Drowned Elf Marsh. Wyewesshi is only a few hours’ journey away from Dretonamis.

== Layout ==

There is no strict rule to the layout of the village but most houses seem to be situated more or less along the village street.<ref name=":0">{{VERef|10.18 E}}</ref>
== Culture ==
The people of Dretonamis are fairly easy going and relaxed, but due to the danger of being a Fraeling there are some rules they have established. For example, it is not allowed for three people over Level 40 to drink alcohol together and the [Mayor] Fantim is the person responsible in terms of judgment calls. They also have a list of people who left and their levels and advice people not to leave until the danger of travelling is mitigated by a fairly high level.

With the other villages, Dretonamis holds the Festival of Spring's Safety where they use exploding flying lanterns to kill flying predators and play street fair games or show dances.<ref name=":1">{{VERef|10.24 E}}</ref>

== Economy ==

Due to the relatively low population of Dretonamis and the surrounding villages there is not really a capitalist economy in place. Nonetheless, there is some trade between villages. [[Wyewesshi]] and more specifically Zinni distributes the wool she gets from her Aphid herds to Dretonamis and [[Ellecmia]] which also made clothing fabrication in the villages far easier as they would have to search for and process hemp, use plant clothing or process animal hides instead.<ref>{{VERef|10.38 E}}</ref> Generally, it is to assume that everyone pitches in to acquire resources or built something as necessary considering each persons classes. Even non-craftsmen like the village protectors including [[Eurise]] and [[Roja]] do not only protect the village but also bring bag material from their expeditions or dead monsters.<ref name=":1" /> Thus, economy is not really necessary as everyone works from the same resource pool.
