==Chronology== === Huntsong === In 2018 Elena was teleported from Earth to the streets of Meronome, Noelictus's capital. She found work at a rental service called "Helpful Servants," who were known for being hard-working, cheap, and happy. Unfortunately, the service was run by Belavierr the Stitch-Witch. All the Helpful Servants, including Elena, were prisoners in their own minds and being used like puppets to harvest emotions from people. Elena is found by Cara who employs her. Knowing that something is wrong with Elena, the [Singer] tricks her into pushing her out of a second-story building. The incident summons Belavierr, who heals Cara's injuries and permanently loans Elena to the Singer's service, still as a Helpful Servant. At some point, Elena was freed by Cara, and marched with her against Belavierr at a "village out of hell," forcing the [Witch] to flee Terandria. She traveled as a part of Cara's entourage as they toured through the continent. At some point, Wistram [Mages] tracked them down and offered them sanctuary. Elena volunteered to go to make sure it was a safe place for them. === Volume 7 === Elena and Aaron are talking about the shock glove he is working on while waiting in line at the buffet when they notice that none of the Golems in the dining hall are moving. Although the Golems soon return to normal, Elena and Aaron are unnerved by this. While Cara and her group are in Pheislant, they receive a letter from Elena that discreetly confirms that Wistram is not a safe haven. Elena gives a lecture about the Earth being round, which goes poorly due to the [Mages'] skepticism and belief that their world is flat. Later, she is attending one of the Earthers' therapy sessions, when [High Mage] Telim barges in and offers them Calming Tonics and sleeping draughts. She and Aaron have an argument about whether Wistram could be trusted or not. That night, the Earthers have a secret meeting, where Aarons reveals a potential ally named Emerrhain. She acts as a spokeperson when most of the Wistram Earthers who confront Archmages Feor and Viltach about Sir Relz and Noass spreading misinformation about Yellow Rivers Plague. With the help of Palt and the Ullsinoi faction, Ryoka is able to communicate with Elena, who tells her about the Earther situation in Wistram, while also warning that most of the scrying orbs are being bugged by Wistram [Mages]. Later, she witnesses Ryoka, Saliss, and Maviola'<nowiki/>s run to save Hethon and Sammial Veltras from the Circle of Thorns. === Volume 8 === Elena, Aaron, Telim, and Sa'la have a conversation about an upcoming banquet for all the incoming [Mages]. It is revealed that Elena saw Aaron's text message about the Gods, though she does not know who sent it. Later that night, she is one of the onlookers as Grand Magus Eldavin challenges the Archmages. When everyone is teasing Trey about getting worms, Elena is one of the few who are kind to him. Later, she gives him a tour of the Earther rooms. She is also shocked when Eldavin unveils his newest innovation, armored suits based on Aaron's design and operated by sixteen Earthers. A few days later, she and the other Earthers listen to Trey's proposal to leave Wistram. She backs him up, offering to take them to Cara in Terandria, confident that they could be free there, though she becomes uncertain when Leon claims that nowhere is safe, having witnessed someone's death despite being high-level.
