== Background ==
Embria was born to Relc and his partner Oresha while they were both serving in Liscor's army. She would travel with them as the army went from place to place. At one point, Oresha was killed by Goblins, which would lead to a lifelong hatred of Goblins for Embria. Eventually, Relc left the army, taking Embria with him back to Liscor. She would stay there for a couple of years, becoming friends with [[Drassi Tewing|Drassi]] and [[Selys Shivertail|Selys]], and according to the former, "got in tons of trouble." However, she would forget about them in later years.

Eventually, she would leave Liscor to join its mercenary army. She proved to be talented, managing to kill her first Wyvern at the age of eighteen. Embria rose up the ranks until she became a [Wing Commander], only a few ranks below [General]. She would return to Liscor occasionally, and be involved in certain incidents with Relc that would cause them to be collectively blacklisted in every inn.
