'''The Forgotten Wing Company''' is a mercenary group and one of the [[Four Great Companies]] of [[Baleros]]. It is led by [[Foliana]] the Three-Color Stalker, with [[Niers Astoragon]] as its second-in-command and main [Strategist]. 

==Overview==
The Forgotten Wing Company rose from the proverbial ashes of Niers and Foliana's original adventuring team, World's Founding, after it emerged from the Labyrinth of Souls,<ref name=":4">{{VERef|Chapter 10.07}}</ref> and stole the mantle of Great Company from [[Jungle Tails]]. They are a multi-species company, without any one species being predominantly represented. While they lack long-term contracts, they are considered a rising force and a major world power.<ref name="1.00 D">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/07/14/1-00-d/ Chapter 1.00 D]</ref> However, they are considered more fragile than the other Great Companies, as most of their power is tied up with Niers and Foliana. 

His company, not including Niers himself, has at ''least'' fifteen [Strategists] and [Tacticians] and countless others. Their headquarter is situated in the city of [[Elvallian]], which is also famed for being the location of the Titan's academy for [Strategists] and [Generals].

==Banner==
Their flag banner consist of a stylized flowing wing comprised of three colors; Pink, yellow, and green, the same colors as the eyes of their leader.<ref>{{chl|4.36O}}</ref>

==Military Strength==
Under Niers' command, the company could outmaneuver any foe, defeat any force, even those three times as large as them. With Niers' Skills, they could turn their soldiers into horrific monsters, yet if they needed to retreat, the army would become ghosts on the battlefield. While Niers leads the armies, their commander takes down the enemy officers. According to [[Orthenon]], the group is able to overwhelm [[Flos Reimarch|Flos']] weakened kingdom.

As a non-species specific company with a wide variety of races represented, the company is able to adopt or steal tactics from many other military groups around the world, as well as develop tactics that some wouldn't use due to species culture.<ref name=":5" />

They employ the second-most [[Selphids]] behind the [[Eyes of Baleros]] Great Company,<ref>{{chl|6.21D}}</ref> even more than the Selphid-only [[Bodies of Fellden]] by dint of size. These Selphids make up their vanguard thanks to their resilience, their ability to Rampage, and their ability to keep fighting by taking the bodies of fallen foes when theirs got too damaged. They're also useful for training exercises, and Niers found they were the most inclined to keep working as [Mercenaries] longer rather than retire. In the wake of the manufacture of Healing Potions being halted when Eir Gel disappeared, this became an even greater advantage.<ref name=":0">{{chl|9.05NPR}}</ref>

The company uses a unique fortification and siege weapon called Chesstowers. They are short and wide towers made of stone, wood and other light materials made lighter with magic, and are enchanted against fire, catapults and arrows. They have superior crenelations, murder holes, enchantments to set themselves ablaze along with anyone trying to climb them, and anti-siege engine spells. Their most notable feature is that they're light enough to be lifted and redeployed, making them mobile fortifications. There are currently twenty-seven made, some of which have been commissioned to look like rooks, bishops, and other chess pieces.<ref name=":1">{{chl|8.77B}}</ref>

They have a sub-Company of 2000 [[Centaurs]] under [[Perorn Sadiluc]] called Fleethoof's Gale. All members are over level 20.<ref name=":9.34" /> General [[Diomedes]]' vanguard is comprised of [[Dullahans]] armored in mithril.<ref name=":4" /> The Skeldriv regiment is predominantly made up of Lizardfolk and Naga types.<ref name=":5" />

Some of the company's notable combat groups are the Marshwalkers, a force comprised mostly of [[Lizardfolk]], with no [[Nagas]]. Unlike the normally-rowdy Lizardfolk forces, they march in silent similar to [[Drake]] formation, and considered experts at killing Nagas.<ref name=":1" /> While the company doesn't have many [[War Walkers]] due to the edict from the [[Iron Vanguard]] against them joining, those that do form the Armortraitors, who wield weapons designed to kill fellow War Walkers. The Shoreaxes are made up of heavily armored [[Minotaurs]], which they are allowed to hire due to the Forgotten Wing's efforts against the [[Flos Reimarch|King of Destruction]] and Goblin King [[Velan]]. The Fullhelm Armor are Dullahans in thick airtight armors wearing helmets helmets with enchanted lenses. This allows them to fight in obscured conditions and hazardous gases. The Flamecloths are conprised of [[String People|Stitchfolk]] with special fire-resistant skin, who are specialized against their own kind by fighting within blazes.<ref name=":5" />

The company employs [Necromancers]. As an advanced Company, they have as many as eight [Rogues] in their group compositions.<ref>{{chl|9.40GG}}</ref> They have stolen Glasses of Amplification from [[Jungle Tails]], more specifically the temples of the Nagas, to improve the range and efficacity of their Medusas. There are about twenty high-heritage [[Oldblood Drakes]] employed in the company.<ref name=":5" />

Among its resources, they have access to Tier 7 spell scrolls.<ref name=":3">{{chl|9.23GGGGGGGGG}}</ref>

The [[Rustängmarder]] was under contract with the Forgotten Wing Company. This gives them one company of soldiers with unbreakable morale and lets them field undead like [[Draugr]]. The contract has recently expired.<ref name=":3" /><ref>{{VERef|10.12 H (Pt. 2)}}</ref> 

A number of Selphids resigned from the Forgotten Wing Company under orders from the [[The Minds]] and the [[Bodies of Fellden]], seeing a need for a Selphid-only company after the incident at the Gathering Citadel when the [[Minacien Wall]] were breached.
