The Halfling has been around for tens of thousands of years, since the end of the [[God War]], having volunteered for the task of guarding the knowledge of the Elves. He materializes to prevent those who speak of the dead gods and the events of the war. He doesn't exist unless he is needed, and so from his perspective, very little time has passed though he was aware of the changing ages.
