While hesitant, George agrees to join the other Earthers in escaping Wistram.<ref name=":1" /> He was part of a group of Earthers that attempted to pay other mages to make a distraction.  Prior to the escape, George notices that Galei seems to be appearing near the earthers corridors.<ref name=":1" /> During the escape from Wistram, George helps direct the others from the secret earther rooms to the docks.
