Griffon Hunt was founded by Halrac and Ulrien, and named by another female member nearly a decade ago. They are named after a breed of dog used for hunting, which is what they specialize in.

Around three years ago, a massive Griffin colony, consisting of hundreds of them, was plaguing the Nameless Heights.  They began destroying farms and villages and even attacking cities, leading to Griffon Hunt, among other teams, being called to kill them. Halrac and Ulrien contracted Typhenous and Revi to support them. They managed to wipe out over two hundred Griffins by themselves, but they were fined and nearly lost their Gold-rank status. The reason for that is that they poisoned their nests and killed hundreds of Griffins. However, the plague got out of control, as Typhenous was using the wrong spells. As a result, the sickness killed off almost every livestock animal and three cities and numerous settlements fell ill.

The team argues a lot, as each member has different opinions. Therefore, Griffon Hunt settles their arguments through collective votes. Despite all of their dysfunction, they are a solid team when it comes to fighting, though they have lost some of their strength since Ulrien was still alive.

* Griffon Hunt name is a play on words, as they are not named after Griffin the beast, but after a breed of dog used for hunting. Because they used to hunt actual Griffins, people think that they are named after the beast and call them Griffin Hunt. Even, Revi their newest member, didn’t know about it.
