That was the result of counting Erin and ''Seven β no, eight'' people from Earth, later confirmed again by Joseph. The five boys are: Joseph, Troy, Leon and two guys from Asia and Poland; the girls are Galina, Rose, Imani and one unnamed (presumably) girl. At one point in the chapter, ''Rose and two other girls'' argued in favor of searching other Earthworlders, while ''Imani was asleep''. In [https://wanderinginn.com/2020/01/01/6-68/ Chapter 6.68], the number is repeated again to be eight, which would mean 5 boys and 3 girls. ---> This has recently been resolved by making everything worse, see [[#140.
