Ryoka meets the Silver Swords and runs away when they say they've been looking for her, eventually getting captured. Mrsha experiments with the [Compartments of Holding], and shows Ekirra and Visma the post-riot grief of the Antinium. Shassa Weaverweb (an Oteslian [Druid]) accidentally kidnaps Mrsha, then returns with Nathaliarstrelous to have a meeting of [Druids]. Nathaliarstrelous confronts Bird about his overhunting of birds, but doesn't object much since Bird eats them. Erin plays a game of chess against Teriarch, and he throws a tantrum when he loses. Nathaliarstrelous challenges the Shield Spiders of the floodplains and wipes many of them out.
