Editing Interlude – Halfseekers (Pt. 9)

[[Arrema]] harangues Mireden for the stunt he pulled but he tersely retorts back that while he might make mistakes that so long as they are not ones that cost [[Liscor]] everything that he considers them worth the effort in making, backing off from the heated conversation Arrema asks about his current efforts against the [[Mother of Graves]] with him sharing the steps he'll have to make for now. He in turn asks her if she wants to stay with her declining staying at the inn or [[Riverfarm]], she decides then to say her goodbyes to travel having mixed feelings about the whole thing. Maintain the well of emotions inside himself Mireden introduces himself to [[Typhenous]] as they have a walk talking about Typhenous' reason for not following [[Revi Cotton|Revi]] to his background as a Face to the guilt he feels for the suffering and death that he caused with the [[Griffins|Griffin]] Plague. Typhenous desires to know the consequences before agreeing to anything before they start taking about the type of crew Mireden want to recruit for his plans, the [[Half-Giant]] drops the name of [[Regis Reinhart|Regis]] and what the man plans as one of the many foes that they will have to deal with and then departs sinking [[Traffy]] in the ground when no one was looking.

[[Seborn Sailwinds|Seborn]] waits for the horrible news to come his way as he teaches his new crewmates the job, the [[Drowned People|Drowned Man]] was rather surprised to them be competent in their first few days out at sea taking their vessel westwards away from the coast of the [[Hivelands]]. Seborn notices that the maps they have are outdated—made before the shifting of the currents—and that they likely have someone chasing after them, after a bit of talking the crew has decided to rename the ship celebrating by breaking a glass wine on the side of the hull. [[Mrsha du Marquin|Mrsha]]—using the [[World's Eye Theatre|[World's Eye Theatre]]]—appears before Seborn with them discussing events that transpired since they've last met planning to return for her checkups, three weeks later the ship makes it to the next port with Mrsha telling the team what to expect from the colony city of [[Half-Elves]]. They spent a week in [[Inserelad’reanum]] gathering supplies with Seborn staying in the city for now as he felt his teammates weren't ready to go into the [[New Lands of Izril]], while in a pub they watch on the [[scrying orbs]] the Archmages' fight with Seborn becoming flabbergasted from the sight of an older looking Moore on screen. [[Hilyed]] announces himself to everyone at the bar and inquires Seborn about him and his ship and seeing where this is going Seborn and his team run out the pub getting to their ship, the [[Minotaur]] [Captain] is stopped from pursuing them at the port.

They had around an hour head start at before the superior Minotaur vessel caught up demanding them to stop with the only chance they have of escaping is entering a magical storm named Thiborkilj, entering the storm images of Jelaqua and the familiar Half-Giant appeared before him. They talk about the mess Seborn is in and the events that happened in the [[Palace of Fates|[Palace of Fates]]], the three begin to argue throwing out harsh words to one another for the poor decisions they'veve made making it seem to the children watching that it was almost coming to blows. But soon they cool their heads discussing and arguing like a true family would, ''The Halfseeker's Promise'' suddenly gets hit with something making the two say their goodbyes planning to talk after Seborn survives passing through the magical storm.

Captain Hilyed sits at a crossroad of a decision pondering with the information he has gathered pertaining to the Drowned Man and his crew, Mrsha appears before the [Captain] to ascertain his importance to make a petition to the [[Inreza]] on the behalf of [[Calruz]]. She tells him that there has been new evidence discovered to prove his innocence willing to tell the tale to them, Hilyed decides to listen in time but after they evade the storm.
