Editing Interlude – Songs and Wands

* [[Lyonette du Marquin|Lyonette]] begins her day with practicing her singing in one of the [[Garden of Sanctuary|Gardens]] with [[Colfa val Lischelle-Drakle|Colfa.]]

* [[Teriarch]] and the rest in his cave recover from the attack by the [[Gailant|Moon Halfling]] with him and [[Magnolia Reinhart|Magnolia]] try to find where the line is for telling the truth to others.

*Lyonette returns to [[The Wandering Inn]] after her singing to find a number of people looking for employment at the inn. One of them uses [[Calla Songscale|their]] [[skill]] to force everyone within an area to sing in verse and rhythm.

*Three immortal beings; [[Visophecin]], [[Rhisveri Zessoprical|Rhisveri]], and [[Taletevirion]] enter the inn to negotiate for the [[Ironwood Wand]] in Lyonette's custody.

* Havoc ensues with Lyonette laying down the law by pulling out her secret weapon of the late [[Khorpe|Khorpe's]] Crossbow with the Tier 6 Pheonixflame Bolt loaded in it.

* Lyonette pleads with [[Mrsha du Marquin (Root)|Root Mrsha]] to please let her carry her burdens with the [[Gnoll]] child refusing pointing to the current issue at hand. Lyonette begins to hear out what the three immortals have to say.

* The three speak of the last [[Dryads|Dryad]] [[Fithea sor Kerwenas|Fithea]] that survive The Day [[Kaaz|Kaaz's]] Honor Died ruminating on the fall of the last of the last.

*Lyonette shares her reasoning for why she hasn't done anything with the wand, [[Nanette Weishart|Nanette]] believes that her being [[Witches|Witch]] gives her the right to morally grandstand the issue with Taletevirion telling her what it really means for a Witch to meddle in events and what bringing this seed to life means for it.

*A recess is called for everyone to take a drink, Lyonette speaks with Rhisveri to clear up the air and be on the same page. Lyonette gathers a group to go meet the [[Gladelords of Tauslech|Lords and Ladies of the Woods]].

[[Lyonette du Marquin|Lyonette]] meets with [[Laken Godart|Laken]] as the two sign a mutual defense pact with one another which very much interrupts the [Emperor's] busy day, returning back to [[The Wandering Inn]] she greets [[Colfa val Lischelle-Drakle|Colfa]] as they both enter the [[Garden of Sanctuary|[Garden of Sanctuary]]] for their daily ritual of practicing their singing in privacy. Meanwhile, [[Rafaema Manusara Coloseuvia|Rafaema]] and the rest within [[Teriarch|Teriarch's]] cave recover from their beating by the [[Gailant|Moon Halfling]] with [[Taletevirion]] going around checking up on everybody, the [[Unicorns|Unicorn]] walks up to Teriarch and [[Magnolia Reinhart|Magnolia]] who are trying to figure out the limits of sharing the truth to others. Teriarch bribes the Unicorn with one of his ancient wines from his hoard as he leaves and goes back to telling stories of the past. Magnolia coaxes the story of his daughter [[Nirayicel]] out of the Brass [[Dragons|Dragon]], Taletevirion goes out to have a drink at a proper place.

[[Rhisveri Zessoprical|Rhisveri]] speaks with [[Sophridel]] of his plan to seduce Lyonette for the [[Ironwood Wand|wand]] and more gold even if his last venture to the inn was a complete failure with him gambling away a substantive sum of [[Ailendamus|Ailendamus']] treasury. The [[Wyrms|Wyrm]] teleports away in a huff after the [[Elementals|Elemental]] of Masks brings up the fact that Rhisveri is lacking in the realm of romance and intercourse.

Lyonette returns back to the inn from her singing to finding dozens of people applying for a job to the inn with the notable out of the bunch being [[Calla Songscale|Calla]], a level 42 [Singing Instructor], and [[Ebente]], a level 32 [Caretaker]. To show there worth, Ebente begins to wards the sealed weapons all over the inn from the children and Calla enforces everyone within a certain radius to sing in verse and rhythm, overjoyed and slightly embarrassed Lyonette goes around attempting to make everyone sing. [[Asgra]] welcomes in a handsome man with the rest of the inn staff readying themselves for anything, [[Visophecin]] sits down and orders food as he searches for something. [[Dalimont]] wonders when he'll go back to serving [[Seraphel du Marquin|Seraphel]] and takes note of Visophecin's entrance, he was about to get the inn staff in order when two more disastrous guests appear. Seeing Rhisveri and Taletevirion stride into the inn Dalimont calls forth the occurrence of a Solstice Event to the staff calling the ones without a job to the Garden.

The two Ailendamus immortals catch sight of each other and question what the other is doing at the inn with the [[Lucifen]] dumbfounded with the Wyrm's plan of action, meanwhile [[Nanette Weishart|Nanette]] attempts to steal the wand and uses her skeleton key to unlock Lyonette's room only to find it already unlocked. She sees Taletevirion rummaging around Lyonette's drawers with the rest of the room being destroyed, the children explain their cause for the wand sent to them by the [[Gladelords of Tauslech|People of the Vale Forest]] to which Taletevirion expresses that that would be a poor idea and leaves the room.

Lyonette feels that something is terribly wrong with her daughter and walks towards [[Mrsha du Marquin (Root)|Root Mrsha]], as the three immortals chase for Lyonette's attention they hit the barrier of the song [[Skills|skill]] and witness Ebente tackle Lyonette aside exclaiming that the [[Gnolls|Gnoll]] child has been abused. Holding Mrsha in her arms Ebente runs towards the [[Magical Door|portal door]], [[Liska Silverfang|Liska]] and the [[Thronebearers of Calanfer|Thronebearers]] try to stop her until Rhisveri paralyzing her and the summoned [[Liscor's City Watch|Watch]]. With that situation solved the three immortals approach the [Princess] but Calla shares that her skill will stay in place until everything calms down, unperturbed the three stride past the [[Drake]] and with perfect pitch and syncopation they sing to Lyonette to implore her to leave the matter of the wand to them. Tired from the events of today, Lyonette lays down the law by threatening the three with [[Khorpe|Khorpe's]] Pheonixflame Crossbow bolt and has the three of them leave the inn to knock and ask politely once she's ready.

 

 

 

 

Taletevirion jumps in to express that Nanette's stance taking as a [[Witches|Witch]] is misguided and shares what it truly means for a Witch to meddle with events. That it would be a cruel thing to bring a child alone into this brutal world where her people have long been dead and burned, he points to the other immortals in the room that they might know what it feels to be on the verge of extinction and are beyond trying to change that. He shares what the true Great Forests of old where like, the difficulties the countless many tried to regrow what was lost, it is because they are the last of the last is the reason they care. Taletevirion begins to sing a ballad of last of the last, [[Sammial Veltras|Sammial]] out of everyone in the inn begins to applaud the singing and then cry not knowing what else to do, the Unicorn bow towards Sammial like a performer to their audience with Lyonette calling for a recess.

 

Embarrassed and ashamed, Lyonette looks for the two from Ailendamus while speaking with Mrsha about if she made her decision yet, she strides past Mrsha but sense something off from her daughter's words. Rhisveri and Visophecin have a drink at the bar after the dower mood speaking on what the Lucifen lost out at sea and Ryoka's tale of there being more Wyrms out there, Lyonette tells them that they can become permanent fixtures of the inn if they'd like only if they treat her as an equal. Rhisveri brings up the time he met [[Marquin]] and compares everyone in [[House Marquin]] to her standard, after sprinkling of bit of her drink on the Duke to get his attention, Lyonette says to look at her and not her name. Being on the same page, Lyonette gathers everyone to establish who is going on the trip to meet the lords and ladies of the Vale Forest, grabbing the wand they set forth to another Solstice Event.
