The city gained its name as ''the City of Adventurers'' by having the largest population of active and retired [[Adventurer|adventurers]] in Izril, with even Named Adventurers passing through the city on occasion. [[Regisand Curle]] is the appointed [Mayor] for the moment. However, he is more of an administrator than one to set policy, as Lady Magnolia Reinhart has the power to persuade the city to adopt new policies or to take her point of view, but she rarely uses such authority. During his march to [[Mountain City Tribe]], [[Reiss]] approached the city and was met by a coalition army gathered by [[Magnolia Reinhart]] and commanded by [[Zel Shivertail]]. In the [[Battle near Invrisil]], the human army was defeated, but the Reiss decided to bypass the city.
