Following his freedom from slavery thanks to the [[Czautha’qshe|Death of Chains]], Pisces used his new spell, [Ritual of the Lord of Bones], to create a Skeleton Lord from the remains of the slavers.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2021/07/20/interlude-pisces-revised/ Interlude - Pisces (Revised)]</ref>

While the group of ex-slaves was travelling, Ivery helped fight off a band of [[Goblins]]. The group then dressed him as a traveller with only its eye sockets visible and gave him a name. At the Glass Straits, under the two full moons, Ivery bonded with a weapon, which was a glass nugget thrown at him by [[Rophir]].<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2021/08/22/8-38-h/ Chapter 8.38 H]</ref>

The group kept travelling, and Ivery fought [[Crystal Lights]] and slave catchers. He was also given Pisces' undead Warbear, now dubbed Bearbones, to ride.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2021/12/12/8-57-h/ Chapter 8.57 H]</ref>

Ivery is still active on Chandrar after Pisces' departure,<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2022/09/04/9-13/ Chapter 9.13]</ref>and still protecting the escaped slaves and attacking [[Roshal]]'s caravans. In [[Pomle]] he challenged [[Orjin]] to a duel, which he lost.<ref>{{VERef|9.35 O}}</ref>
