During Nerrhavia's travels towards the [[New Lands of Izril]], she made a stop at Manus to make a contract with a certain someone. In order get a way into the [[Walled Cities|Walled City]] of War she had her servants call upon the criminal gangs of Manus to smuggle them in, out of all of the unworthy there Kalnis was chosen with the most potential to fit what she requires as her new bodyguard. Using her skills Nerrhavia gives him what he most desires, proof of his innocence which he gives to [[Lulv]] and leaves Manus for good.
