=== Volume 5=== Mrsha is later kidnapped by the Raskghar during a daytime raid. Captured for days and forced to live in a dank and filthy cage. She would witness the Raskghar ritually killing the Gnolls they had imprisoned. Growing smarter and stronger. Many of the Raskghar who undertake these rituals perish during the subsequent raid on their camps. Killed by either the Redfang Goblins, Goldrank Adventurers, Liscor’s Army, or the plague unleashed by Typhenous. During the raid Mrsha is rescued by Lyonette, however it takes several weeks for her to truly recover from her ordeal. Due to Mrsha helping them escape, and later attempting to sacrifice herself for them. The other Gnolls treat her far more respectfully. Putting her in the good graces of most of them. It is during this arc that we learn that Mrsha’s fur may not just be culturally significant. As the Raskghar imply that sacrificing her to one of them would give them magical abilities. Also implying that it is Mrsha’s white fur that allowed her to gain the [Mage] class and subsequent consolidation to [Druid].
