== Overview ==
The Order of Clairei Fields is a very large [Knight] Order in numbers, but they are not as rigorously trained in combat compared with [[Terandria]]n Knight Orders.

Nevertheless, the Clairei Knights specialize in speed on horseback<ref name="6.25" />, so despite all their armor, they are good at fast skirmishes and speedy cavalry charges. Their armor is enchanted to weigh less, while providing the same protection as regular armor.<ref name="5.57">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/02/05/5-57/ Chapter 5.57]</ref> More equipment may include sword, spear<ref name="6.25">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/06/15/6-25/ Chapter 6.25]</ref>, lances,<ref name="5.57" /> recurve bow, and a horse whistle that when blown causes their mount to stop and rear up is it was stolen.<ref name=":0">[https://wanderinginn.com/2023/04/09/9-41-pt-1/ Chapter 9.41 (Pt. 1)]</ref> The average level of its members used to be level 22.<ref name=":1">{{VERef|10.21 E}}</ref>

There order usually patrols the roads and keeps transports safe.<ref name=":1" /> Junior Knights are often tasked with message delivery.<ref name="6.25" />

== Chronology ==
The [Knights] of the Order participated in [[Tyrion Veltras]]' siege of [[Liscor]]. Cavalry was crucial on herding Veltras' [[Goblins|Goblin]] vanguard towards the direction Veltras wished them to run.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/02/02/5-56-g/ Chapter 5.56]</ref> At least once, they clashed with [[Garen Redfang]]'s [[Carn Wolves|Carn Wolf]] [Riders]. In combat of 80 disciplined goblin riders versus 12 Clairei Knights, 53 Goblins and 4 Knights survived the skirmish.<ref name="5.57" />

The Order of Clairei Fields challenged the supporters of [[Magnolia Reinhart]] after the siege of Liscor failed due to her scheming.<ref name="6.25" /> Most members of the Order were taken by surprise when fellow [Knights], like the [[Knights of the Petal]], took that message unkindly.<ref name="6.26" />

== Colors and Coat of Arms ==
The Order of Clairei Knights has as its insignia a stylized stalk of wheat blowing on an open field, with the wheat grains sharp like swords.<ref name="5.57" /><ref name="6.25" />

The Clairei [Knights] wear bright green chest plates with their insignia etched on the front in silver. Their helmets are the same green, deep and majestic as a deep forest, and sometimes gilded with gold. Their shoulders, arms, and leggings are clad in bright sapphire blue.<ref name="5.57" /><ref name="6.25" />

Their horses are similarly adorned.<ref name="6.25" />
