The '''Reinhart Family''' are one of the [[Five Families]] of [[Izril]]. Their current head is [[Magnolia Reinhart]].

== Overview ==
The Reinhart family are one of the [[Five Families]] that came from [[Terandria]]<em>—</em>fleeing from Terandria, to be exact and are among the first Humans to settle on [[Izril]].<ref name="4.26M">[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/04/07/4-26-m/ Chapter 4.26 M]</ref>   Their sigil consist of twisting vines and a single flower, with the vines sometimes looked like snakes. The Reinhart family has a reputation of being "snakes" and underhanded in their politics  and are well-known for relying on tricks, assassination, and poison. While they are loyal to each other, they do not get along.<ref name="7.18M" /> With the exception of Magnolia, the Reinhart members do not engage in politics and remained secluded in the family holdings until they were freed from Magnolia's [The Bindings of House Reinhart] after which they became very active especially infighting with Magnolia.<ref name=":2" />  

== History ==
The House was built by a group including Aleieta Reinhart who used the [<nowiki/>[[Garden of Sanctuary]]] and the [<nowiki/>[[Pavilion of Secrets]]].<ref name=":0" />

[[Regis Reinhart]], who died 3800 years ago,<ref name="4.26M" /> is active as a ghost, thanks to a [Necromancer] and safeguards the family treasury. However, he is reluctant to allow the usage of the artifacts and other magical items within the vaults and takes from each successive generation of Reinharts, which is the reason that he is regarded as the "family curse".<ref name="7.18M">[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/04/15/7-18-m/ Chapter 7.18 M]</ref> At some point, he founded the [[Circle of Thorns]].

Eight hundred to one thousand years ago, [[Salienn Reinhart]] was another infamous Reinhart who lived for three centuries, and reportedly drank the blood of her enemies.<ref name="7.18M" /> [[Suvelta Reinhart]] was a Vampire with class levels, who fought Named Adventurers with her vampiric nature alone. She was brought down by the [[Circle of Thorns]] and tortured for sixteen days before exposing her to sunlight.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/05/24/7-24/ Chapter 7.24]</ref>

Six hundred years ago, one of the Reinhart family was executed in [[Pallass]] after being captured in a battle. Afterwards. no Reinhart has set foot in the city until Magnolia Reinhart.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2020/04/29/7-20/ Chapter 7.20]</ref>

About two hundred years ago, the Reinhart and the [[El Family]] feuded against [[Oteslia]] over a dispute regarding trade from [[Chandrar]]. In the battle that happened in the Human lands, General [[Ironscales]] lost her life.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/09/01/5-17-s/ Chapter 5.17 S]</ref>

Relatively recent generations of the Reinhart Family have fought against the Circle of Thorns. Three generations ago, Magnolia mentions that it took her great-grandmother's whole life to sort out the Circle of Thorns back then <ref name="2.41">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/07/29/2-41/ Chapter 2.41]</ref> and her grandmother died with with their curse still yet lingering over the family according to Regis.<ref name="4.26M" /> 

During the [[First Antinium War]], a sixteen-year old Magnolia Reinhart forcibly took control of the Reinhart family from her parents. Using her Skill [The Bindings of House Reinhart], she pacified all the Reinhart members, making them compliant, while also reined in the [[Assassin’s Guild]].ily.<ref name="7.18M" />

== Magnolia's Estate ==
While the main Reinhart lands are located around First Landing, Magnolia also has her own estate in Invrisil.

A giant raincloud floats around her house, enchanted to rain on the parts that need watering. Besides its function as a lawn sprinkler, it also serves as a guard, capable of firing [Chain Lightning], a Tier 4 spell,<ref name="6.58">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/11/19/6-58/ Chapter 6.58]</ref> at intruders.<ref name="6.27 M">[https://wanderinginn.com/2019/06/22/6-27-m/ Chapter 6.27 M]</ref>

Her house is maintained by numerous [Servants] and [Maids], many of whom are former mages and warriors, allowing Magnolia to use them not just for housework but also for battle.<ref name="4.48">[https://wanderinginn.com/2018/06/29/4-48/ Chapter 4.48]</ref>

== Strength ==
Currently, the Reinharts are one of the Five Families and accordingly rich an influential.<ref>{{VERef|1.56}}</ref> However, their power has waned over millennia, compared to the old days when "Reinharts could march behind Earth Elementals and Golems.<ref>{{VERef|9.13}}</ref>

As one of the most powerful nobles in Izril, Magnolia is able to call upon two thousand individuals with combat-classes above Level 20, with over six hundred of that number possessing levels above 30. The highest-level Reinhart is Magnolia who is  among the contenders of being the highest-levelled noble in Nothern Izril.<ref>{{VERef|10.31 – (Pt. 2)}}</ref>

After Magnolia released her family members from her [The Bindings of House Reinhart] skill, the slighted family members have become more active but also started to undermine Magnolia and take her holdings.
