== Personality ==
Richard is one of the leaders of the Earther group in Rhir due to his charisma and consideration for others, as well as being the highest leveled amongst them.<ref name="1.00C">[https://wanderinginn.com/2017/04/25/1-00-c/ Chapter 1.00 C]</ref> He is levelheaded and always looks out for everyone. He is described to have that "famous Southern courtesy," which allows him to get along with people. However, after a year of training and fighting Demons, Richard is shown to have less patience in dealing with others, shown by his irritation at some of the new Earthers acting like they were in a game as well as breaking up with his girlfriend [[Emily]] for refusing to have sex before marriage.<ref name=":0" /> While Richard is dedicated to helping defeat the Demons, he is wary of the Blighted Kingdom's attempts at indoctrination.
