Sang-min is part of an Earther study group at Wistram that includes George, Elena, Saif, Basil, and Caroline.<ref>[https://wanderinginn.com/2021/09/22/8-43/ Chapter 8.43]</ref> Outside of this, he mostly keeps to himself and does not always eat with the other earthers. Trey notes that he has clearly seen combat and is one of the earthers not enraptured with the idea of Adventuring.<ref name=":1" />
While at Wistram, Sang spoke to an [Emissary] from Drath and was fairly sure that he understood his language.<ref name=":1" />
He takes part in the escape attempt from Wistram and tries to fight back against the Wistram mages.
